Rejection During Operation

Hi ,
I have a component which has to go thorough variuos process an is mapped as operation 5,10,20,40,60.
During operation 20 we hav MIC on basis of which system evaluats whether the componens is good or rejected. However if a component is rejected in operation 20 it doesnot reflect as gettin one component less in MD04.for eg if my order qty of component A  is of 4 and one "A" get rejected in operation 20 MD04 still shows 4 components to be produced from production order. Its only when i do GR of the other components it says 3 components avlb. Also its gives wrong information when i am runnin planning engine. Please Help do i need to do any config setting

Hi,
If the material rejected at operation 20 is treated as scrap then that cost also will be accounted to that order. Or if u work on the rejected material and rectify the same your need to create a rework order. To create rework order go to tcode CO07, Order Type PP03, and rest GI,Confirmation and GR are normal. If any specific raw materials are consumed during reqork same to be entered in production order component overview. Settlement will be done to the main order. If the rejected quantity is reworked and made GR, quantity will be updated in MD04 Screen.
If you treat the rejected quantity as complete Scrap then u have run MRP and create PO for that one left over quantity.
Hope this will solve ur problem.
AWD if useful
Ramagiri.

  • Rejections during in-process inspections

hi, is any std report available to find what are the produts rejected during in-process inspection,(at which operation) against each prod order? also can we know how many products passed without defect (after in-process insp) during in-process inspection against prod order?

    Dear,
Do the defect  recording at that time craete automatic notification then you will get this report in QM10 and QM11.
    Else use the report  QA33.

  • 'The mobile phone rejected the operation' Error - ...

    Hi,
Using E70 via Bluetooth. Everything works for sync etc.
When I click on contacts, it gives me the error 'The mobile phone rejected the operation' and does not allow me to view my contacts.
On occasions it will show the contacts, then something 'hides' them again and will then go back and browse the 'root' directory of the phone.
Im not aware of any security settings or such. At the moment, when I try and do something the phone asks to allow the connection, I do - but still nothing.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks

working now - upgraded pc suite again - a few reboots - and sorted. bug in previous pc suite??

  • Macbook pro hang during operation

last month after putting a flash memory on USB port, my Macbook pro hanged completely and no solution except restart. after that day by day it slowed down in opening of application and operations. these days its very slow and hang several times during operation of an application.
The OS X is 10.9.3, memory is 8 GB, around 70% of hard space is free.
Can someone help me to find the problem and fix it ?
    Thanks

    1. This procedure is a diagnostic test. It changes nothing, for better or worse, and therefore will not, in itself, solve the problem. But with the aid of the test results, the solution may take a few minutes, instead of hours or days.
Don't be put off by the complexity of these instructions. The process is much less complicated than the description. You do harder tasks with the computer all the time.
    2. If you don't already have a current backup, back up all data before doing anything else. The backup is necessary on general principle, not because of anything in the test procedure. Backup is always a must, and when you're having any kind of trouble with the computer, you may be at higher than usual risk of losing data, whether you follow these instructions or not.
There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional. Ask if you need guidance.
    3. Below are instructions to run a UNIX shell script, a type of program. As I wrote above, it changes nothing. It doesn't send or receive any data on the network. All it does is to generate a human-readable report on the state of the computer. That report goes nowhere unless you choose to share it. If you prefer, you can read it yourself without disclosing the contents to me or anyone else.
You should be wondering whether you can believe me, and whether it's safe to run a program at the behest of a stranger. In general, no, it's not safe and I don't encourage it.
In this case, however, there are a couple of ways for you to decide whether the program is safe without having to trust me. First, you can read it. Unlike an application that you download and click to run, it's transparent, so anyone with the necessary skill can verify what it does.
You may not be able to understand the script yourself. But variations of the script have been posted on this website thousands of times over a period of years. The site is hosted by Apple, which does not allow it to be used to distribute harmful software. Any one of the millions of registered users could have read the script and raised the alarm if it was harmful. Then I would not be here now and you would not be reading this message.
Nevertheless, if you can't satisfy yourself that these instructions are safe, don't follow them. Ask for other options.
    4. Here's a summary of what you need to do, if you choose to proceed:
☞ Copy a line of text in this window to the Clipboard.
☞ Paste into the window of another application.
☞ Wait for the test to run. It usually takes a few minutes.
☞ Paste the results, which will have been copied automatically, back into a reply on this page.
The sequence is: copy, paste, wait, paste again. You don't need to copy a second time. Details follow.
    5. You may have started the computer in "safe" mode. Preferably, these steps should be taken in “normal” mode, under the conditions in which the problem is reproduced. If the system is now in safe mode and works well enough in normal mode to run the test, restart as usual. If you can only test in safe mode, do that.
    6. If you have more than one user, and the one affected by the problem is not an administrator, then please run the test twice: once while logged in as the affected user, and once as an administrator. The results may be different. The user that is created automatically on a new computer when you start it for the first time is an administrator. If you can't log in as an administrator, test as the affected user. Most personal Macs have only one user, and in that case this section doesn’t apply. Don't log in as root.
    7. The script is a single long line, all of which must be selected. You can accomplish this easily by triple-clicking anywhere in the line. The whole line will highlight, though you may not see all of it in the browser window, and you can then copy it. If you try to select the line by dragging across the part you can see, you won't get all of it.
Triple-click anywhere in the line of text below on this page to select it:

Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
    8. Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Click anywhere in the Terminal window and paste by pressing command-V. The text you pasted should vanish immediately. If it doesn't, press the return key.
    9. If you see an error message in the Terminal window such as "Syntax error" or "Event not found," enter
    exec bash
and press return. Then paste the script again.
    10. If you're logged in as an administrator, you'll be prompted for your login password. Nothing will be displayed when you type it. You will not see the usual dots in place of typed characters. Make sure caps lock is off. Type carefully and then press return. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you make three failed attempts to enter the password, the test will run anyway, but it will produce less information. In most cases, the difference is not important. If you don't know the password, or if you prefer not to enter it, press the key combination control-C or just press return  three times at the password prompt. Again, the script will still run.
If you're not logged in as an administrator, you won't be prompted for a password. The test will still run. It just won't do anything that requires administrator privileges.
    11. The test may take a few minutes to run, depending on how many files you have and the speed of the computer. A computer that's abnormally slow may take longer to run the test. While it's running, there will be nothing in the Terminal window and no indication of progress. Wait for the line
    [Process completed]
to appear. If you don't see it within half an hour or so, the test probably won't complete in a reasonable time. In that case, close the Terminal window and report what happened. No harm will be done.
    12. When the test is complete, quit Terminal. The results will have been copied to the Clipboard automatically. They are not shown in the Terminal window. Please don't copy anything from there. All you have to do is start a reply to this comment and then paste by pressing command-V again.
At the top of the results, there will be a line that begins with the words "Start time." If you don't see that, but instead see a mass of gibberish, you didn't wait for the "Process completed" message to appear in the Terminal window. Please wait for it and try again.
If any private information, such as your name or email address, appears in the results, anonymize it before posting. Usually that won't be necessary.
    13. When you post the results, you might see an error message on the web page: "You have included content in your post that is not permitted," or "You are not authorized to post." That's a bug in the forum software. Please post the test results on Pastebin, then post a link here to the page you created.
    14. This is a public forum, and others may give you advice based on the results of the test. They speak only for themselves, and I don't necessarily agree with them.

  • Constant flashing blue screen during operation?

I keep having the screen turn blue and then suddenly go back to normal. It's a quick flash, totally random, repetitive during operation, no noises, and nothing else is interrupted. It does not restart, log off, or try to. Is it about to die?

I have a 2006 Mac Pro and I an experiencing the exact same problem. Random blue screens, I can still type and move the mouse (not seeing any of it on screen until the random blue screen goes away).

  • Computer shuts down unexpectedly during operations

My computer shuts down unexpectedly during operations.  The unit will run for about 20 minutes and then suddenly shut down for no apparent reason.  When I try to reboot the machine it comes on and shuts down immediately.  I have to wait 30 minutes to an hour before I can use it again.  I am running windows 2000 as my OS and my motherboard is a K7 prom AMD.  Can anyone out there help me?  I am going crazy trying to figure this thing out.

Hi, I have the same problem. When windows (XP) starts loading it shuts down and restarts alone; sometimes it passes and loads complete but then after a while it shuts down. With the error free load option it is more stable but it also shuts down alone. I tried everyting that is on my hands: changed the agp to a pci VGA board, eliminated all other boards, flashed the Bios, changed the power supply, checked the Hard Drive, changed RAM, etc., etc. My conclution is that it has some relation with the VGA display but in the bios; if you use more graphics it shuts down.
My system is a 694D Pro-AR (MS-6321) mother board with Pentium III 1GHz, 768 MB Ram, Matrox G450 Dual AGP.

  • Maintenance of Template Project during operations

    Hi Experts,
I want to know about how template projects should be maintained during operations phase. following are main points:
    1) Template Project is created and implemented at HO Site.
    2) One Roll Out is expected to happen in next 2 months
    3) We need import the business processes of Template Project into Solution Directory for maintainenance
    4) Solution Directory will become BPR
    5) Template Project will be Reference Template for all processes for future roll outs.
Now, main concern is how to handle the following:
    a) Changes happening through maintenance track i.e. via change requests
    b) Change which will happen through Project track (upcoming roll out)
Point a is bit clear but expert guidance is always appreciated.
Point B is bit unclear because once roll out project is being implemnted, it will have its local documentation and some process or document should be rolled in to the main template, so how that needs to be miantained and what is procedure for the same.
All possibilities needs to be taken into account for both points A & B:
    - Changes to Processes
    - Changes to Process Documentation
    - Changes to technical Documentation (FS, TS, Interfaces, etc)
Please don't send me general help links for the same.
    Thanks in advance,

  • How to stop doing LIV for the goods which are rejected during quality check

    Hi,
    My client requirement is
    1. System should not allow doing LIV for complete quantity entered during GR, but it should be as per accepted quantity after quality inspection has been done.
For. ex. Vendor sends 100 quantity of item X. GR will be done for these 100 in system under quality inspection stock type. Now during quality inspection, 80 have been accepted and 20 have been rejected. Now while doing LIV system will propose amount for 100 quantity and not for 80. My client wants system should propose for only 80 and not for 100. How to do it?
    2. Vendor performance report based on the above indicating total quantity accepted, rejected and supplied for a material for a given period.
We do not intend to use QM module.
    My suggestion for above is,
    1. Do the GR as GR blocked stock - movement type 103 for 100. Then transfer 80 to unrestricted stock under movement type 105. Return 20 to vendor under movement type 124. If done this way system will propose amount only for 80 during LIV.
    2. Create Z report to capture the above for vendor performance report.
Is there any other way by which above can be achieved? Is doing GR block stock for all the receipts correct?
    Your suggestions are welcome.
    Thanks,
    Satish

    Hi Satish,
The scenario can be mapped as per your sugestions. I don't see any issues with that. The process can be defined for selective vendors.

  • Segregate the scrap as an operation wise during operation confirmation

    Hello PP Gurus,
One  FERT item's BOM contains 4 HALB items in which 3 are mentioned as an negative qty, ( it may be reusable scrap using in production again), and having 5 operation sequence. The problem is while confirming first operation itself the whole scarp value is generated for those 3 HALB items which are mentioned as an negative value. I want to segregate the scarp value for each and every operation or at least any of operation by qty wise or percentage wise. Is it possible to maintain it in system? and also is it possible to control by order type wise?
Is there any setting to do meet this requirement?
No manual material issue , during confirmation material are issued/generated by using back flush.
    Thanks

    Hello Mr.Devendra,
Thanks for your reply. I want to do an settings for component allocation by operation wise while during the production operation confirmation. Is there any option or SAP User exit and enhancements?
For example, a FERT 'A' having as an sub assembly 'B','C','D' and having 5 operations(10,20,30,40,50)in Routing. In these 'B' mentioned as an positive qty and the remaining 'C','D' are mentioned as an negative qty. while doing confirmation components are allocated for first operation(10) itself. i want to allocate the component for operation wise. In my case, while confirming operation 20 only part of 'B','C','D' will be allocated and the same for segregate to operation 30,40. How can we handle this situation is there any option?
    Thanks

  • Note on Reason for rejection during PR/PO rejection

    Dear Experts
While rejecting PR/PO by approver, is it possible to give note on reason for rejection in standard SAP? . Also, is there any standard transaction where i can see the entire history of approvals including date & reason for rejection note if available?
    Kindly help me out..
    Thanks & Regards,
    Kumar

    Hai Arminda Jack
    Thanks for your reply.
The reason for rejection what i have mentioned is purchasing perspective. To be clear, when approver is not satisfied with the datas in PR/PO in terms say qty, price, delivery date, approver will be rejecting the PR/PO. During rejection, approver needs to mention some note(manually typed) during his rejection of PR/PO.
    Kindly suggest.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Kumar

  • Members rejected during dimension load

    Hi,
I am trying to deploy an application from Essbase studio. It loads few members and rejects few members. And it does not load any member to scenario and Version dimensions. I have the source in Parent, child relationship and the top most parent being #root for every dimension.
And when I preview the hierarchy, it shows in correct parent child relationship. But after the cube deploy, in the outline it is in random order. All parents are created under the dimension itself. And the error during cube deploy in Essbase studio is

If you look at the Error record it says you have same member/alias twice, check the source and see if you have special characters?
    Also check for duplicate members.

  • Problem with goods movement during operation confirmation

                                 2) Backflushing is activated for material(componenets that areattached to that operation).
please let me know what is the reason for not getting the qty displayed in the "Goods Movement" tab
    Thank you.
    Regards
    Santosh

    hi
Normally if you activated the backflush for the material in the order, the material wont be displayed in the goods movement tab unless you activated the All materials in the parameters for confirmation in the intial screen of IW41

  • Goods movement during operation confirmation

    Hi Gurus
Currently My system is backflushing all the components when i partially confirm the operation through Co11n T-code, which i dont want. I want the backflushing should happen only after the final confirmation of the operation.
Is there any configuration change required to stop the backflushing only during partial confirmation.
    Thanks in advance,
    Quantum.

    Hi
In SAP U can do backflush in 3 ways
    Indicator: Backflush
Determines whether the backflush indicator is set in the production order. Here, a 3-level hierarchical logic is applied:
    1. In the routing, the backflush indicator is set in the component assignment.
    2. In the material master record, the backflush indicator has the characteristic "Always backflush".
    3. In the material master record, the backflush indicator has the characteristic "Work center decides",
the indicator being set in the work center.
If at all u dont want to Backflush at the time of Confirmation in CO11N, partial confirmation , dont set any backflush indicator in any level, u can go for Manual Goobs issue Using MB1A, So that u can confirm Goods issue , and final component u can confim By setting Auto goods recipt with the help of Control Key for the last operation in routing.
    i Hope this will help.
