Rel 2: where to find/set Document-Path?

Hi,
can someone please tell me, where i can find/set the documentpath used for up- and downloading docs from the database? In rel 1 i believe it was in the gateway-settings. Don't know where they have gone in rel 2.
thank you very much,
Ralf Schmitt

Dear Khadir,
you can check service for object(attachment) in TR. code for Personnel Number.
Aby,
well said about, Archivelink is the preferred solution for maintaining HR Documents.
As Archive Link solution given so many times by many experts.
but, what about
1.TREX Search for HR documents.
2.What abt Authorisation control
3.do you think end user can upload documents easily by selecting object/doc.types in OAAD(ie.OAOH)
4.can you maintain folder structure through Archive Link?
can anybody clarify these queries as it is mandetory in most of business processes? if not what is the alternative solution.
thx. in advance..

  • Oracle OAF Find the Document Path Using JDR Tables or JDR_UTILS API

    Hi,
    I found duplicate records in JDR_PATHS table for a Particular OAF Page. I need to find the complete path of these documents,so that i can delete the one which i don't want
    using the jdr_utils.deletedocument.
    Appreciate it if anyone can advise on how to identify the paths for the a page so that I can delete the document I do not want.  Any other ideas to delete the extra document would be welcome.
    Thanks
    Sai

    Sai,
    Duplicate records in JDR_PATHS does not mean they are duplicate records, page names may be same.
    But the hierarchy of the page is different, don't be in a hurry to delete the document.
    try to find the information from this :

  • Setting document Path in file system document store

    hi,
    Is it possible to have the basic path defined in
    ctx_ddl.set_attribute, and all the subfolders in the
    basic path defined in along with the document name
    in the database.
    for eg:
    begin
    ctx_ddl.create_preference('docname','FILE_DATASTORE');
    ctx_ddl.set_attribute('docname','PATH','c:\temp\');
    end;
    In the table (mydocs)
    mydocid doc_name
    1 loc1\test.doc
    2 loc2\recs.Pdf
    3 loc1\oracle9i.doc
    It should now take the path as
    c:\temp\loc1\test.doc
    Also is it possbile to just give the path in ctx_ddl.set_attribute as c:\temp\
    and all the sub folders under it are searched.
    Database: ORacle 9i windows.
    thanx.
    cheers
    sam

    As far as I know, you either have to specify all of the paths using ctx_ddl.set_attribute with only the file names in your mydocs.doc_name or don't use the ctx_ddl.set_attribute and provide the full paths in your mydocs.doc_name.

    Where does one set space after paragraph in the new Pages 5.0? It used to be under text in the Inspector in the previous version, but I just can't find it in this new version. Paragraphs seem to only be dealt with in styles, and the Formatting window for text doesn't seem to have the space after paragraph contrtol that the older Inspector had. What am I missing?

    Sorry I did this without looking:

    I'm currently signed onto my home network and want to go on with another computer but don't remember my password for my network.  Does anyone know where to find this?  It's a password that I set myself, not the one that came with my router.

    It's in your Keychain on the computer you usually use to connect to your network - the "kind" will be "AirPort Network Password".
    Your Keychain can be opened by using the Keychain Access program. It is in your Utilities Folder.
    Open Keychain Access, and type airport in the search field. You will see a number of entries. Choose the one with the name of your wireless network, open it, and check the box next to "show password". Before it reveals itself you will be asked for your login password - the one you use to log in to your MacBook.
    The network password will appear in the box.
    Quit Keychain Access.

    Using Pages on my iPad, I save to iTunes to share it with my iMac.  After download I cannot find the documents in my iMac.  Not in Pages, not in iTunes, so where do they go?

    Until Apple updates the desktop versions of the iWork apps you have to use iCloud.com in a web browser or iTunes to sync files. You could also try e-mail or DropBox.

    where i can find the document for ABAP-SD techno functional guys

    Dear Jagrut,
    Well there is no separate section for technofunctional people like ABAP SD. I think it wil not be an easy proposition also to have a separate section. Regarding the documents, I have posted lot of queries on technofunctional aspect of SD and I have got good responses from the SD forum. So you can try it here.
    A small search on SDN SD forum most of the times will help you to answer your query.
    I will suggest you to visit  http://sap-img.com/sap-sd.htm. It will give you the overview of SAP SD module.
    Moreover there is a separate section of FAQs with answers which will help you in great deal.
    Hope this helps you.
    Do award points if you found them useful.
