Related to Component in CS03 Transaction:

Hi Experts,
When a material is already inserted for one or more FDP codes, but for one FDP code it doesn't insert the material.
In Table MAST - material is there. But when i checked
that material in CS03 transaction,
under material TAB, in Component its not there.
Please help me.

"To check which all DB tables are being queried to get the pop up - and also analyze the query on the DB tables, you can start a SQL trace (ST05) on your user ID + transaction before you press enter in the CS03 screen. Once the pop up appears, stop the trace and display it. It will show you all the DB tables which have been accessed and you can also "explain" the queries. The where clauses might give you an idea of how the tables are being filtered, or which other tables are being queried there."
Same way i have executed the trace, In the trace i have checked it, my matnr which is there in MAST table is not coming in Trace.

Hi folks,
A very basic jsf question relating to component development. In the component class should all the instance variables have bean type getter and setter property ?
If the answer to the previous question is no ,then from a design perspective which instance variables shouldn't have a bean type getter and seter property ? Some clarifications may be helpful for me to comprehend the problem.

Well, it's not required to have a getter/setter for all your component properties. HOWEVER, it's a very good idea to have it anyways.
You do not need getters and setters for temporary variables, and public static fields. Basically, ask yourself if the user of your component class could potentially ever need use of the property. If yes, then make a getter and setter.

Hello Maria,
Well, in the Support Message window, place the cursor in Component box and press F4. This will brings up another window which contains the components list to which you are authorized. From that list you can choose about which component you want to create that particular support message.
For example, if you are from Quality department, the following can be visible when you press F4.
QM - Quality Management
-- QM-ADB Adobe Forms
-- QM-ADB-PRN Print Forms
For the Print Forms, the component will be QM-ADB-PRN

Howto install Related Content component on UCM 11g

Hi,
I did install URM 11g to test the Related Content component.
Does the component also work with UCM 11g. Are there any special metafields required?
Another problem is that I can't build the Related Content component, cause it is not listed in the URM ComponentWizard.

Yes it does work with UCM 11g
It is a little hidden but can be installed as follows
Admin Server > Component Manager
In the first paragraph click on the link to advanced component manager
THen on the this page find the text
"If you really wish to modify URM components from this page, please click _here_. " and click the link
You should now find that the RelatedContent component can be enabled just for UCM.
Please mark this one as answered (if it works of course) as it may well be useful to other people looking for this hidden feature!

Table for flag STLKZ in CS03 transaction

Hi Guru,
in the transaction CS03 for some materials I see in the column (ASM ASSEMBLY STLKZ field) who wants a flag to indicate that this material is related to a bom.
In which table can I see the flag STLKZ?

Hello Marco,
This field is not a table field therefore it is not stored on any table that you can refer for a direct link. This field is filled in if an entry is found table MAST for that component. Table MAST is a table for material/Plant BOMs. The assembly indicator is set If the component was is found on the header material on a BOM. The system checks the table MAST to see if that material was ever assigned to a BOM number (STLNR).
In this case, materil A will be set assembly indicator in BOM B since it is a header material of a BOM. This indicator is set no matter what the usage the BOM has. You can find what BOM it is linked . You can then use MAST-STLNR to check tables STPO for components.
There is also another field checked when setting this flag, There is a field in the table MARA for storing low-level code. This
field is also considered for setting the flag.Low level flags are changed based on bom levels

Regarding CS03 transaction

Hi friends,
I have a simple query regarding the transaction CS03. When I give the Material Number, Plant and BOM Usage as input, I would get the list of components for this material.
Inside the transaction, is a CHECKBOX field ASM - this Indicates that the component for this material has its own BOM or has further components).
Could anyone tell me in which SAP table this information is stored i.e. an indicator to tell us if the component/material has further BOM or not.
I checked MAST and STPO tables but could not figure out the right field.

the bom can exist for HALB or FERT .
u can dimnish the material not having a bom on this category .
i.e to say material type 'RAW' dosent hav a bom .
2.
like check out for table "MVKE" (Sales Data for Material) and in here check the fields
MVKE-MTPOS (Item category group from material master)MVKE-DWERK(Delivering Plant).
now giv the material and execute for initially dont giv a plant , and execute .
proceed with parent-matrial in bom and execute ,
u'll see the list of materials assigned in a particular sales area now check for MTPOS status this will have a category called LUMF ( this u will hav only for parent)
now say that the parent have 4 child materials (say)of which one has subassemblies so as u said it will hav a ASM check box ticked in CS03, now take this material and goto mvke and repeat the procedure and check the MTPOS status this will have item category like 'NORM'
remember for parent it was 'LUMF'
now for child(having subass;les) we got'NORM'
now check for same which dosent have a subassemblies from the child items it will be like 'ZATP' or 'XXXX' but not LUMF or NORM. to tell that it dosent hav further bom.
generalise the conclusion for all the materials(parent childorphans)if found okay apply this logic.
second alternative is ,
check the transaxction cs12.
give BOm material and observe that the first field(dglvl) ...
it indicates the level of that material in thta BOM.
exact indiaction is whether it has sub assemblies in that Material is the
field (BOMFL) If it has sub assemblies then it will be' X'.
see if u can make any hit in the tables using this relation above

Logical component in Solar02 transaction

When i run solar02 transaction in solution manager.I get the project screen, but the logical components for the various processes is showing a wrong component. I need to manually change the logical component everytime.
Is there any way that the logical component column shows the right component automatically??

Hello Experts,
I am new to CRM 2007 CRM web client programming.
I have a custom SAP GUI transaction in CRM and user wants to convert it into ICWEB transaction.
its using all custom tables and in all screens,
Please guide me how do I proceed in creating the component,display fields on the view....
I mean how to create the fields in the View, Do I need to write BSP code or Wizard helps me to generate and configure the fields on the view.
Please also let me know procedures create context notes which replicate the database tables which the data is saving or updating.
I am not clear cut info to proceed,
Please help me in this regards

It has setting reference with GUID with Method="Count" means this is existential rule referenced to setting blah blah... (If method="Value" means that it has value rule defined) and for existential rule,
XML has "NotEquals" operator and value is "0" which means that if file not equals to zero means file exist (compliant).

GI(Goods Issue) for serialized component in mfbf transaction

In transaction MFBF when we press save after entering planned order and backfluish quantity it asks for serial numbers for the main component but if there are serialized componets in compoents tab it throws error on saving ,the requirement form my customer is like that if there is a serialized component in component list its pop up should come and asking for serial numbers and its GI should happen

kindly check the order type .i think you are using MB1A for refurbishment process.but it is not possible.only maintenance order can be posted via MB1A
follow the procedure for goods issue in refurbishment order.
Choose Logistics ® Plant maintenance ® Maintenance processing ® Completion confirmation ® Goods movement ® Goods movement.
The entry screen for a goods issue appears.
Choose the pushbutton For order.
Enter the relevant order number in the dialog box and choose Continue.
An entry screen appears.
Choose Copy.
The Maintain Serial Numbers dialog box appears.
Choose Reference document.
Enter the order number in the Refurbishment order group box and choose Execute.
A list appears with the planned serial numbers for the refurbishment order.
Check the selections of serial numbers, for whose material you want to post a goods issue, and choose Copy.
The serial numbers are copied into the Maintain Serial Numbers dialog box.
Choose Exit window.
The goods issue is posted.

Missing Logical Component in Solar01-Transaction Tab

We have setup several logical components and assigned it to our project template. We then executed transaction SOLAR01; navigate to the "Business Blueprint Structure", "Master Data" and then the "Transactions" tab; we could only select One Logical Component. The rest of them are NOT being display at all. Any idea why?
Interestingly, when we naviate to the Business Blueprint Structure" \ "Business Scenario" - All the logical components are available again. But go down another level from there' and we are back to one logical component again.

logical components are assigned directly to master data objects, organizational units and process steps. Thus, these objects are part to the corresponding system. Therefore, it is only possible to assign content on tabs belonging to these objects that have the same product assigned. This is the reason why only one logical component is available on this level in your project. On scenario or process level, all logical components are available.

Related Content component not working

I have this component in the list of Enabled components on my Oracle CMS, but I am not able to execute this service.
I don't see any related content links information in the doc info page.
Should I try to disable and enable the component or completely reinstall it.
If I do reinstall it , would the content that are related to each other still retain their associations?

Yes the FXP file worked. There is something about my project that Flex doesn't like.
I do not get any errors like those described in the bug. It just doesn't do anything when you type the dot.
I do have a library from a loaded swf, but it all works. I also described my project to have two component directories. Please see previous post.
Could this be the problem?
And, could you please tell me how to find my "workspace" directory.
And, one more thing...
Could you please let me know how to "try a clean workspace". I'm tempted to merely delete the project, leaving the files, then re-import.

Reg. Fetching of Documents/Drawings attached to BOM Component in CS03

Dear Experts,
My requirement is that i need to use FM for BOM Explosion (CS12) to display all BOM Components associated to BOM Material along with the Documents / Drawings attached to each BOM component, in an ALV report. I found the FM to be used, but i could not get the Documents / Drawings data attached to each BOM Component (Tcode CS02 / CS03) and sub assemblies in that FM. Is there any other FM / BAPI available to achieve this. Kindly help me in this regard.

1. use bapi - BAPI_DOCUMENT_GETOBJECTDOCS to get document number, version,part,type by passing object catagory and
object key .
2. once u get this above detail use FM CVAPI_DOC_GETDETAIL to get documents and drawings for the bom component.

I am dwelling on the topic of the relations between Business Roles, Transactions, Transaction Types etc. Do you know if there is any architectual diagram to make clear how these objects are related, and how they depend on each other?

Hi Javier,
As far as I understand you want to restrict transaction types per business role.
You can achieve this by customizing. You can create a transaction profile in customizing for each business role and assign the transaction types you have created to this transaction profile.You can find this customizing activity in spro transaction.
Then you can assign transaction profile you have created to your business roile by assigning function profile 'transaction profile' to the business role in crmc_ui_profile tcode.
In this way when you login with the business role the transactions you have maintained in transaction profile will only be shown up in the pop up.

To Call Another Form and Save Related MAster Data from a Transaction Form

Hi
Our project requires that forms for creating masters be called whenever the value (Key Value) being referenced in other forms are not found. For doing this I had used the When-Validate-Item Trigger and checked for the key value in the master tables and if not present, I use the Call_Form method to call the master form and create the key value and then come back to the Form in which I was working to continue processing the rest of the data.
It works well if the CAlling forms is in INSERT MODE but Not in UPDATE MODE ( returns a message A Calling Form has unapplied Changes, Cannot Save data (Error: FRM-40403)).
This same feature I tried to work it out around with a Key-Next-Item Trigger, it works fine for both the cases but as long as the user tabs out of the field from keyboard controls like the Enter Key or the Tab Key. But in case he wishes to click on the next field or some other button with a mouse OR he uses a keyboard shortcut to do some other operation viz. F10 for saving data, the trigger is not fired and that returns a ORACLE error (in case a database Integration issue arises) OR saves an invalid data.
I would like to know what kind of triggers could we write to exactly call a master form to save a new key value irrespective of whether the calling form is working in INSERT mode or QUERY Mode.
One way to do it is to use EXIT_FORM(DO_COMMIT, NO_ROLLBACK). But if the Primary/Calling form is closed without a Commit, then the related Master DAta is also Not Saved.
Please Let me know if we can save the master data whatever be the state of the CAlling Form permanently.

You are going to need to POST in the Called Form rather than committing (and make sure that you do not rollback when you exit).
The Post will insert the master record into the DB but it will not be committed until you issue the commit in the Calling Form.

Hi,
    Sales quotations are the proposals & their is not any reference of delivery date that we could take as production finish date i.e material availablity/ promising date in demand manangement.
    So, you need to rethink on quotation data & try to fix peiod either month or week or day that could reduce development complexity.
