    Hi Sumit,
you may move your question to the ABAP for SAP HANA community (http://scn.sap.com/community/abap/hana).
Are you asking about the SAP_BASIS version, or which version do you refer to?

  • Relation between EDI and SAP MM

    Hello Gurus,
Is there any relation between SAP MM and EDI...?
    Omkar--

    Hello Omkar,
There is no specific relation between EDI and SAP MM. SAP MM module is for your internal data while Industry EDI is communication media.
    E.g.
If you create a PO in your system , it is related to your MM part while information with regards to craeted PO is supplied to vendor by EDI _ Electronic data interchange.
    Hope this will help you.

    Hi,
Professional Tax is independent state taxes and slab rates are different to state to state. Income tax is central tax for the employees who are earning money from various jobs.
Both taxes are deducted every month if the employee salary is under the Taxable slabs.
For slabs check in the internet or check in the SCN with specific state name.

  • Java JCo SAP XI RFC SAP R/3 6.C ... Unicode issue

    Hello,
My scenario is very simple. I'd like to connect a Java program to a SAP R/3 (MDMP) for RFC calls (in both direction), using SAP XI (some of the RFC calls will redirected to some other systems). I use SAP JCo v2.1.8 and tried with Java 1.4.2_09 and Java 6.0.
It works well when the Java program is calling a function module, but when SAP R/3 is doing it, the returned texts looks like: S#A#P# #J#C#o# #v#2#.#1#.#8# #(#2#0#0#6#-#1#2#-#1#1#)# (the text should be SAP JCo v2.1.8).
It looks like an issue with Unicode. Although I didn't check the Unicode checkbox in the RFC sender adapter (the RFC receiver one doesn't offer the possibility to specify unicode or not).
Do anyone have a solution ? Is it a code in the Java program or something to set in SAP XI / SAP R/3 ?
Thanks in advance for your help.

This is a workaround solution. In the case of this prototype it is ok, but the final plan is to migrate a web based application. It was directly connected to one SAP R/3, but now we would like to connect it to SAP XI because a few RFC calls will be re-directed to some other systems, but the majority of them will we'll still be sent to the SAP R/3. We don't want to make development on this part for cost reason (and time). Plus on some text there are the "#" character that is legitimate.

  • Confuse..where are the java files(bean) related to JSP in Portal??

    Hi..
    Can anybody plz help me..
I already deploy the new JPDK Jan 2003.
It's works fine in the Portal.
Just, i don't understand, where they put the java files(bean) related?
    For example..the Lottery (lotto.jsp)
    it called this bean..
    "<jsp:usebean id = "picker" class = "oracle.portal.sample.devguide.lottery.LottoPicker" scope = "page" />"
but, when i searched in the Server, i cannot find this LottoPicker.java.....
Pls help me, it is urgent..

    Hi,
All the bean files are in samplev2.jar at %OC4J_HOME%/j2ee/home/applications/jpdk/jpdk/WEB-INF/lib. If you extract the zip you will see all the class files for samples in JPDK.
btw, as per J2EE container specification, the default location for any java class file (i.e. '.class' files) is WEB-INF/lib (packaged as a jar) or inside WEB-INF/classes as individial class files (with their complete package structure)

  • Weblogs related to Ruby and SAP

This thread is dedicated to publishing new weblogs. Do not append any comments onto this thread! Only if you have written a weblog, then append a small description with the link here.
For everyone else that are interested, press the "Watch this Topic" option at the start of the thread. Next click "Watch Options", check "Email Updates", and "Update Watches". Then, whenever a new append is made to this thread, SDN will send an email to all watchers. This is effectively a very cheap "heads up" on new (Ruby) related weblogs.
WARNING: Do NOT append anything else on this thread, as any new append will trigger a flood of emails to all three (thousand?) people on the watch list!

  • How to relate Customer UOM with SAP UOM

    Hi SAP Gurus
I wanted to to relate Non-SAP customer's UOM with our SAP UOM.
    For example:
Customer1 has PAK mean PAC (in SAP)
Customer2 has PAB means PAC (in SAP)
How to do that? Thanks for your inputs...
Edited by: Harpal Singh on Mar 30, 2010 10:34 PM

    Hi,
You can achieve this in transformation by writing a routine.
Logic would be something like this
If non-sap customer UOM = PAB
       non-sap cusomer UOM = PAC
Before doing this you need to make sure that all your non sap UOM's should correspond to correct SAP UOM's
    Thanks

  • "position:relative" in jsp

I have a html file in which I have a scrolling table with a fixed header. I achieve this by CSS and adding the attribute "position:relative" for the table header. I open it in IE6 and I have my functionality with the table body scrolling and the header fixed.
Now I have the same html code in my jsp and the whole table including the table header scrolls. it takes the value "overflow:auto" which allows scrolling, but it somehow doesnt take the value "position:relative" , which, results in my header to scroll.
Why is my jsp not respecting the "position:relative" attribute?
    Raghav

I have done this in my JSP. To freeze header you have to use the following code in your THEAD (css),
    top: expression(document.getElementById("mytable").scrollTop-1);
    z-index: 10;

  • Functional specification examples related to enhancement in sap sd

    Hi All,
Can you please provide me the functional spec related to any scenario in SAP SD.
    Thanks

    Dear Friend...
As a functional consultant , we may often come across certain situations from clients to modify / create or design a new requirement or a report or a new funcitionality with your existing System in place...
Say for eg : you may have a requirement from your client to include a new report in your system which enable the user to see the sales detail of a particular customer who avail certain discounts in a particular period of time.. then you may have to create a report with inputs like
    1) Customer
    2) Discount Conditon type
    3) Date
where as the output will be having all the desired details like the
    1) Sales orders for that customer
    2) Its value
    3) The customer address etc etc
(This example is just to give you a scenario)
Hence .. YOu have to develop a report which is not already available in Standard SAP. You have to contact your abaper to explain this requirement and to design this report, who will be desinging the report.
So FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENT SPECIFICATION is a document which contains all the requirement details, input details, the table and their field names, Output details ,the table and their field names, the constraints which needs to be checked while executing the report, input constraints, output constraints, Error handling methods and also the process flow...
The Functional consultants will prepare the funciton requirement specification (Also called as FRS) and submit to the ABAPer .ABAPer will design the report / requirement or new funcitionality on the basis of the document.
    Hope this is fruitful...
    Also go through this links...

Kindly reward if you find this useful...

    SAP Jco - http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/6f/1bd5c6a85b11d6b28500508b5d5211/content.htm
to get an idea about SAP JCo have a look into this thread. It is a good read abt SAP Jco and Java Proxies.
Re: Difference between SAP JCO and Java Proxies
Abt JRA , i guess SAP JRA uses SAP JCo for the calls made from its framework. Not sure about it though.
