Hi,
You contact your local support person and they will edit that info or if you have admin rights for your metalink then you should be able to change.

  • Need same user of metalink to be the user of OTN

    I am the DBA of a group. I created a generic user for metalink to everybody enters with this user. And I wanted to do the same with OTN, I created the OTN account with my own mail, but the only way to enter to OTN is with my email. And I don't want everybody has to know my email to enter to OTN.
    What I don't know is how to relate the metalink user with the OTN user, and not to enter to OTN with the email anymore. This is the way I have my own userid, in both systems is the same.
    Can someone help me?
    Thank you

    Unfortunately, these logins are different and OTN login is in the format of email address.

  • Maximum length of SQL*Plus Command?

    I'm typing a long query into SQL*Plus (Linux, version 9.2.0.1... yes, I know it's ancient).
    If I run this query, all works fine:
    select 'update myauditing_table set test_details='''||grantee||''' where myaudit_refno=''A.FE'';' from (select case when upper(value) in ('DBO','TRUE')  then (select agg_concat(grantee) from dba_tab_privs where table_name='AUD$')
    else (select 'AUDIT_TRAIL is set to: '||value from dual) end as grantee from v$parameter where upper(name)='AUDIT_TRAIL' order by grantee);
    'UPDATEMYAUDITING_TABLESETTEST_DETAILS='''||GRANTEE||'''WHEREMYAUDIT_REFNO=''A.F
    update myauditing_table set test_details='AUDIT_TRAIL is set to: DB' where myaud
    it_refno='A.FE';(In other words, is SQL that generates other SQL: if AUDIT_TRAIL is set to something interesting, tell me who has access to the AUD$ table. And it's working fine... the agg_concat function mentioned is simply Tom Kyte's stragg function under another name, as lifted word-for-word from http://www.sqlsnippets.com/en/topic-11591.html)
    Now this is what happens if I take out the linebreak after the mention of AUD$, so that the command is submitted as one single line of code:
    SQL> select 'update myauditing_table set test_details='''||grantee||''' where myaudit_refno=''A.FE'';' from (select case when upper(value) in ('DBO','TRUE')  then (select agg_concat(grantee) from dba_tab_privs where table_name='AUD$') else (select 'AUDIT_TRAIL is set to: '||value from dual) end as grantee from v$parameter where upper(name)='AUDIT_TRAIL' order by grantee);
    SP2-0734: unknown command beginning "s set to: ..." - rest of line ignored.The error message indicates that the text has been 'split' at the 'AUDIT_TRAIL is set to...' bit, so that "s set to" is being treated as a new command, which is of course syntactically invalid. There is definitely no other change in text between the two versions, apart from the removal of a carriage return before the "else" statement.
    Possibly a coincidence, but the first "s" in "s set to" appears at position 258 in the entire text... close to a possible 255 or 256 character limit, perhaps?
    The same problem happens whether I run the command as a script (@mysql.sql) or typed in directly into a client SQL*Plus session. Is there some inherent limit to the length of commands that SQL*Plus can process in this version? My code runs fine on 10g and 11g databases/clients, whether it's on one line or two. Anyone know of a bug in 9i regarding this? And if there's a workaround (other than the obvious one of upgrading, of course!)

    As mentioned, it's choking at the 258th character, not the 240th. Also, it's a SELECT statement, not a COPY command (one relates to the database, the other is an internal SQL*Plus feature). And someone else also kindly pointed out that SQL*Plus has a command limit length (i.e., database-related commands) of 2500 characters. So I don't think that's the issue.
    I can be a bit more specific about this one now, though. I've a sequence of Solaris boxes running 9.2.0.1 up, and the results are that 9.2.0.1 is affected; and it's a problem for 9.2.0.7:
    SQL> select * from v$version;
    BANNER
    Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.2.0.1.0 - 64bit Production
    PL/SQL Release 9.2.0.1.0 - Production
    CORE    9.2.0.1.0       Production
    TNS for Solaris: Version 9.2.0.1.0 - Production
    NLSRTL Version 9.2.0.1.0 - Production
    SQL> select 'update myauditing_table set test_details='''||grantee||''' where myaudit_refno=''A.FE'';' from (select case when upper(value) in ('DBO','TRUE')  then (select agg_concat(grantee) from dba_tab_privs where table_name='AUD$') else (select 'AUDIT_TRAIL is set to: '||value from dual) end as grantee from v$parameter where upper(name)='AUDIT_TRAIL' order by grantee);
    SP2-0734: unknown command beginning "s set to: ..." - rest of line ignored.And...
    SQL> select * from v$version;
    BANNER
    Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.2.0.7.0 - 64bit Production
    PL/SQL Release 9.2.0.7.0 - Production
    CORE    9.2.0.7.0       Production
    TNS for Solaris: Version 9.2.0.7.0 - Production
    NLSRTL Version 9.2.0.7.0 - Production
    SQL> select 'update myauditing_table set test_details='''||grantee||''' where myaudit_refno=''A.FE'';' from (select case when upper(value) in ('DBO','TRUE')  then (select agg_concat(grantee) from dba_tab_privs where table_name='AUD$') else (select 'AUDIT_TRAIL is set to: '||value from dual) end as grantee from v$parameter where upper(name)='AUDIT_TRAIL' order by grantee);
    SP2-0734: unknown command beginning "s set to: ..." - rest of line ignored.But in 10.2.0.1, the problem disappears.
    I am not sure, but it is perhaps related to metalink note 285913.1, since we did get some ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [qernsRowP], [1] errors in the alert log with a slightly different version of the above query. Changing the query obviously alters the test, though, so it may be completely unrelated.
    Either way, I think it's definitely a version-specific SQL*Plus bug (though it would be nice if any other 9i owners out there could try it and report back!)
    Anyway, the workaround is simply to submit the command on two separate lines, wherever possible. And of course... to upgrade.

    Hello,
    I'm trying to install statspack on a 11.1.0.7 64bit RDBMS on Windows 2008 R2.

    Any hint?
    I was previously able to run it on 11.2.0.1 and 11.2.0.3 RDBMS on Linux systems...
    I don't know if it is a problem with this particular version of the rdbms.

  • OSB 11g - List business services with WLST

    Hi,
    We're using OSB 11.1.1.3 and 11.1.1.6 in several environments.
    We just need to use wlst scripting to keep track of all business services and their endpoint uri's automatically.
    We tried using some old scripts but found out that they don't work on 11g installations:
    We tried the following code:
    connect('weblogic','oracle10','t3://soavm2:7001')
    domainRuntime()
    sessionName = "FindServicesSession" + str(System.currentTimeMillis())
    sessionMBean = findService(SessionManagementMBean.NAME, SessionManagementMBean.TYPE)

    if typeId == "BusinessService":

    We get a "AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'getServiceDefinition'" error. It seems that it is related to metalink note "How To Modify Service Configurations By OSB JMX API [ID 1431254.1]". However the code provided there is for java through jmx, does anybody has a working example of how to do that on wlst?

    Hi Marc,
    What i found is that we can get list of business services URIs by consulting SERVICE_URI_TABLE...
    Here's a script that reads a parameter file (which can have multiple domains information) with connection info and then gets all services and prints a list of the service name and URI on a file for each domain...
    # params.txt format:
    # user,passwd,admin-url

  • PDF export error

    In my report i need to show some text like "Manual & Basic are included". So i have written this into static text view, included view in compound layout. But when i trying print this report in PDF format it is giving me error
    "Sax Parser returned an exception:...etc"
    The problem is with &, SAX parser is not able to convert this character to PDF. What is the solution for this? How to escape this kind of characters?
    I tried with & amp; too. But it is not working.
    Any help appreciated.
    thanks

    Yes, this is correct. The Sax parser (while really good at Jazz) is rubbish when it comes to '&'s.
    This may be related to metalink logged Bug 6486142 - "WRITE BACK NOT WORKING IF THERE IS '&' IN THE TEXT - Sax Parser Error", and has an expected fix version of 10.1.3.4.
    I doubt there's a work around to be honest, other than the obvious 'and'.
    Cheers,
    Ally

    Is this related to Metalink Note:1075869.6?
    Is NLS_LANG set correctly?
    If this doesn't solve the error, then I would suggest logging a service request with Oracle Support.

  • Table Constraints not Replicated with Table Published in WebToGo

    I have the problem related in metalink Note:167611.1
    But i don't understand the next paragraf:
    The first time the user goes offline, these DDL statements are executed.
    Can any body help me?

    Basically when you create a snapshot to include in you mobile application, any constraints are ignored (as are indexes, and column valid values constraints). This means when you synchronise your client device with the mobile server for the first time, the snapshots are created as tables in the oracle lite database (note always created as tables, even if your snapshot is based on a view in the main system). A primary key constraint and a primary key index will also be created.
    Within the different mobile application development tools (eg: workbench, packaging wizard, the API definitions, the web.xml file etc.) there is the ability to define DML statements.
    These are standard SQL statements (normally DML type statements like create table, create constraint, create index, create view, but can be used for other things like insert into a table) that are run WHEN THE ORACLE LITE DATABASE IS CREATED.
    This last bit is important. They are designed to be used for the kind of thing that you run once and then never again (eg: running the same create table statement would fail the second time around).
    This means that if you have already created the oracle lite database on a client, and then you need to add in dml statements to set up constraints etc., you will have to delete the database files (odb files) from the client, and sync to re-create the database.
    NOTE does not help with constraints, but indexes can be added to the snapshot definitions, and these will cause an update to create them the next time the user synchronises, without the need to drop the client database

    Hello,
    I get the error REP-3300/UI-17 when I try to launch reports 6i on AIX.
    I found the Doc ID: 1041059.6 with the title "REP-3300 UI-17 WHEN LAUNCHING REPORTS ON A PC" on the metalink.
    But it does not tell me what fonts I need to install on the PC and the path to find the find the file where fonts can be installed. I must add that I am able to run the 'xclock'. It does show up...but it also gives the warnings shown below:
    Warning: Missing charsets in String to FontSet conversion

    Any one faced this issue before? If yes, how did you solve it?

    Now of course I have run the SQL statement in error and the Template exists: My parameters to the job are as such:

    Template XXWEL_UNI_STATEMENT
    Report Application ID : WEL

  • Message Attribute value not getting populated

    Hi,
    We are using the WF_NOTIFICATION.send() API to send a notification. We have some attributes in the subject and body. We are setting the values to these attributes using WF_NOTIFICATION.SetAttrText() API. Notification is sent successfully, but the values for the attributes in the subject line is not getting set (returns blank), but if we use the same attribute in the message body, the values are properly set (returns the value). The values are properly getting updated in the table wf_notification_attributes.
    e.g. We have an attribute NAME, in the subject and body we use &NAME, the subject returns null, where as body returns attribute value.
    Please let us know what is the issue?
    Is there any way of sending notification (using some other standard API), but subject attribute should get updated with actual value?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
    See OWF forum message:Re: wfnotificationapi.getsubject() 's return value
    There is a bug related in Metalink: Doc ID = 229566.1
    fact: Oracle Workflow Cartridge
    symptom: Regional settings other than English
    symptom: Statement WFNotificationAPI.getSubject(context, new BigDecimal(125)
    ) always returns null.
    symptom: The method WFNotificationAPI.getSubject returns the subject of the
    message if the regional setting is English (United States)
    cause: Bug 2379277 Oracle Workflow Java Notification API Multilingual
    Problem
    The language is not recognized by WF as an installed language.
    fix:
    1. Follow the instructions for installing an additional language in The Oracle
    Workflow Server Installation Notes
    2. Rerun the test by creating a new message.
    IMPORTANT! The old message will not have a row in the table until they load one
    for that language.
