Related to vmic2-2mft-g703 module on Router 2800

I have purchased the vmic2-2mft-g703 for CISCO 2800 series router and want to know that can I configure this card two interfaces act as a simple data interfaces like router inbuilt ethernet interfaces? If yes then how? Please help me.

is supported it it looks like you need to go this way

if so you need to configure a channel-group
controller e1 0/2/0
no shut
channel-group 0 unframed
a serial interface is created
serial 0/2/0:0
verify with your provider if you need an unframed or all timeslots in a group config

The maximum ports I can configured is 2 instead of 4 when the above is installed in Cisco 2821 router.
VWIC-2MFT-G703 = 2 E1 port
NM-HDV2-2T1/E1 = 2 E1 port

vwic-1mft-e1 is a single port e1 WIC. This can be used in a regular hwic slot of a 2800/3800. This card requires that you install PVDM2 chips (DSPs) on the motherboard of the 2800 (if the card is installed on a hwic slot).
With NM-HDV2-2T1/E1, which is a network module has higher density to install up to 4 PVDM2 chips on the network module and has a optional vic slot on the network module. This version of NM-HDV2 also has 2 on board t1/e1 ports. These two onboard ports can be configured as t1 or e1 at the same time. Upto 4 t1/e1 ports may be installed at any time on an NM-HDV2 as long as you populate enough DSPs.
I would recommend you to determine,
a. what type of connection you need to PSTN (t1/e1) ?
b. How many such connections you need ?
If your requirement is < 8, i would recommend not using NM-HDV2 and just use the regular hwic slot on the router, with a vwic-1mft-e1 or similar.

VWIC2-2MFT-G703, cRTP and Multilink

Hello,
I wish to know if it is possible aggregate 2 E1/G703 data link in order to increase bandwidth up to 4 Mbps (2x 2 Mbps) with the card VWIC2-2MFT-G703, by using ppp encapsulation with the multilink feature.
I have read several documents and according to them, I conclude that this setup is possible but I can not test it.
Does somebody can confirm that such setup is possible ?
With the same idea, with 2 cards (VWIC2-2MFT-G703) is it possible to get 8 Mbps (2x 2 Mbps per card) ?
I will use 18xx or 29xx routers.
Next, with this setup, I whish to enable cRTP.
I suppose that I can enable this feature on the Multilink interface with something like that:

These two are different modules or QM is one of the module in PLM and there is no module as PLM and its just general term?

Curious message during activation of snmp traps in cisco router 2800

I activated snmp traps in cisco router 2800 (I didn't specify a set of them, so all of them were activated). The thing is, when i configure "snmp-server enable traps", appears a message in the next line :
" %Cannot enable both sham-link state-change interface traps.
%New sham link interface trap not enabled "
Anyway, traps are activated and are completely functional.
I would like to know, why this message appears... and also what is the difference between informs and traps, because I can activate both of the in a router to be sent to the network admin pc.

the snmp-server enable traps command enables just all types of traps that the IOS version supports.
The message apperes because of this two, which are mutually exclusive:
R1(config)#snmp-server enable traps ospf cisco-specific state-change shamlink interfaceR1(config)#snmp-server enable traps ospf cisco-specific state-change shamlink interface-old% Cannot enable both sham-link state-change interface traps.% Deprecated sham link interface trap not enabled.
It's recommended to only enable the traps you really need.
Informs were introduced with SNMPv2, and they have the same format and purpose as traps.
The main difference is that traps are send in a hit-or-miss fashion whereas informs expect an acknowledge and will be re-send if unacknowledged.

NAC Module and Router IOS version

Hi
I have recently purchased two NAC modules for our 3845 ISR's. The routers where running IOS 12.4(3c) ip base so i upgraded to 12.4(21)ip base as instructed. The routers still dont recognise the modules. The cisco data sheet says the routers need IOS 12.4(11)T or above and IP base image or above. If i do show inventory i get NAME: "unknown", DESCR: "unknown" PID: NME-NAC-K9.
Do i need a different IOS image on the routers to activate the modules?

Yes, you need T-train image: 12.4(11)T or 12.4(15)T or 12.4(20)T.

Anyconnect Failed to Connect using WEBVPN on IOS Router 2800 Series

Hi All,
Kindly need your help. I was trying to built Remote Access VPN connection on my lab environment. The component is Router 2811 with (c2800nm-advsecurityk9-mz.124-22.T5.bin), Anyconnect Client ( anyconnect-win-3.1.05160-k9.pkg ), Laptop ( Firewall and Antivirus disabled, already register webvpndomain.com into hosts file on Win32/Driver/Etc ).
I was able to connect using anyconnect if I'm initiate connection via web (https://webvpndomain.com) and start tunnel connection SVC. I'm also able to reach my LAN and I get my private IP Address assigned by my vpn pool on the router. The problem is when I'm initiate connection to vpn directly from the computer, I mean I'm not using web (https://webvpndomain.com) and I'm just press "connect" on my anyconnect software that already installed on my Laptop the connection always fail. I get error message : Connection attempt has failed
Here I'm also attach my router configuration, so you can see what I've done or what mistake that I've made on the configuration.
Is anybody in here have experience this problem on deploying Remote Access VPN using webvpn and anyconnect as vpn client ?
I'm really appreciate anybody that get into this discussion
