Relating an iDoc to a table

Hi Gurus!
First of all I want to let you know that I'm not sure if this question should be in this forum:
The situation that I have is that I have a requirement to make an interface in PI where I have to send data from R3 when Hierarchy-Product is created/modified. The main table is WRF_MATGRP_PROD and the transactions involved are MATGRP01 and MATGRP02 .So, I would like to know, if there exists any Idoc that I can use to send the data concerning to this tables.
Thanks in advance!
Juan.

Hi Juan,
Check the IDOC: WMATGRP01. Hope it will be helpful for you.

  • File to IDOC:how do i relate inbound idoc with generated idoc in the R/3

    hi experts;
can any body tell me how can i relate the IDOC number genrated in the PI with the generated IDoc number in the SAP R/3 system for file to IDOC scenario?
in SAP PI for tcade idx5, idoc no is:12002
but in SAP R/3 in tcode WE05, idoc no is:846915
how can i know a particular message (in SAP PI) created a particular idoc in the backend SAP R/3 System.
    thanks in advance,
    kumar

    Hi Kumar
at the time of testing you have to note down a time at what ur file got picked up ok
    then go to we05
-> give the date on CREATED ON field.
-> then in BASIC TYPE field select your particular IDOC CREMAS05 or whatever, see the TIME field that you have noted down at the time of testing, if that is matching means that is ur latest IDOC you have tested.
-> one more thing, tha last IDOC showing in the list means that is your latest IDOC you have tested.
Hope i have helped you, points plz

  • SM58 - IDoc adapter inbound: IDoc data record table contains no entries

Trying to send Idocs from SAP ECC6.0 via PI 7.0 up until 2 days ago there was no problem.
Since yesterday, only one specific type of Idoc does not make it into XI (PI). In the Idoc monitor (WE02) the idocs that were created gives status 3 which is good. But all Idocs of that specific type (ZRESCR01) does not go to XI. I can only find them bakc in SM58 where it gives the following message:
IDoc adapter inbound: IDoc data record table contains no entries
I have checked SAP notes 1157385 and also 940313, none of them gives me any more insight into this error. I have also checked all the configuration in WE20, SM59, and in XI (repository and directory) and in XI IDX1, IDX2 but could not find anything that would cause this. I can also not think of anything that changed since 2 days ago.
Please point me in the right direction.

    hi,
i think in sm 58 u can find entries only when there is some failure in login credential .
if there is change in IDoc structure than you have to reimport the idoc metadata defination at IDX2.otherwise not requird.
please check the logical system name pointing to the your requird target system....
please also verify thet your port should not be blocked.
pls find the link it may help

  • Count Records in Table Except If Related Record Exists in Child Table

    Dear All
I have the following query that counts all of the records in the table SENAlert based upon the teacher's username in a related table.
    SELECT COUNT(SENAlert.SENAlertID) AS Expr1
FROM Class INNER JOIN ClassMember ON Class.ClassClassCode = ClassMember.ClassMemberClassCode
    INNER JOIN Student ON ClassMember.ClassMemberStudentID = Student.StudentID
    INNER JOIN SENAlert ON Student.StudentID = SENAlert.SENAlertStudentID
    INNER JOIN Teacher ON Class.ClassTeacherCode = Teacher.TeacherCode
    WHERE (Teacher.TeacherUsername = 'dsmith')
I need to extend this query by adding another table called SENAlertHistory. I would like to count the number of alerts (SENAlertID) for the specified teacher
but where there is no related record in the SENAlertHistory table. Here's what the relationship diagram looks like:
What's going to happen is when a teacher clicks a button to say they have read an alert, I will record this in the SENAlertHistory table. Therefore when performing a count of how many unread alerts the teacher has, I need to ignore the alerts they have
already read (i.e. the records in the SENAlertHistory table).
This is a bit too advanced for me -- I have tried! I was hoping someone would be able to help me please?
    Many thanks
    Daniel

    Try below code
-- If you dont need the read alert count
    SELECT COUNT(SENAlert.SENAlertID) AS Expr1
FROM Class INNER JOIN ClassMember ON Class.ClassClassCode = ClassMember.ClassMemberClassCode
    INNER JOIN Student ON ClassMember.ClassMemberStudentID = Student.StudentID
    INNER JOIN SENAlert ON Student.StudentID = SENAlert.SENAlertStudentID
    INNER JOIN Teacher ON Class.ClassTeacherCode = Teacher.TeacherCode
    WHERE (Teacher.TeacherUsername = 'dsmith')
    AND NOT EXISTS
    (SELECT * FROM SenAlertHistory SAH WHERE Teacher.TeacherCode = SAH.SenAlertHistoryTeacherCode and SENAlert.SENAlertID = SAH.SEMAlertHistorySENAlertID )
-- If you need the read alert count
    SELECT COUNT(SENAlert.SENAlertID) - COUNT(SAH.SEMAlertHistorySENAlertID) AS Expr1,COUNT(SAH.SEMAlertHistorySENAlertID)readalert
FROM Class INNER JOIN ClassMember ON Class.ClassClassCode = ClassMember.ClassMemberClassCode
    INNER JOIN Student ON ClassMember.ClassMemberStudentID = Student.StudentID
    INNER JOIN SENAlert ON Student.StudentID = SENAlert.SENAlertStudentID
    INNER JOIN Teacher ON Class.ClassTeacherCode = Teacher.TeacherCode
    LEFT OUTER JOIN SenAlertHistory SAH ON Teacher.TeacherCode = SAH.SenAlertHistoryTeacherCode and SENAlert.SENAlertID = SAH.SEMAlertHistorySENAlertID
    WHERE (Teacher.TeacherUsername = 'dsmith')
    Thanks

  • Hi friends,  IDOC and RFC are sap related.but idoc is in abap stack rfc is

1)IDOC and RFC are sap related.but idoc is in abap stack rfc is in java stack.what is difference between two.?

    hi ganga,
The IDoc adapter is used by SAP systems to connect to a centrally configured Integration Engine using IDocs
which is properitory to SAP integration
so it doesn't need the Adapter engine.
    refer:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/ab/bdb13b00ae793be10000000a11402f/content.htm
The Adapter engine is working on the J2EE Engine.
RFC Adapter is provided by the AdapterEngine.
So RFC needs Java Runtime where IDoc doesn't.

  • Question related to IDOCs

    Hello,
I have a question related to IDOC processing.
Lets assume that I process the following IDOCs collectively in the transaction BD87: -
    1) 100
    2) 140
    3) 150
Simultaneously, another user using the same user ID as myself, processes the following IDOCs: -
    1) 110
    2) 120
    3) 130
Is it possible to determine which IDOCs were processed collectively together? I mean is there some sort of an IDOC attribute which would be the same for IDOCs 100, 140 and 150 and for IDOCs 110, 120 and 130?
I hope that my question is clear. Please try and answer it as quickly as possible.
    Best regards,
    Divyaman Singh Rawat

Simultaneously, another user using the same user ID
I dont think SAP has any such provision. May be you can track by UserID but in your case that too is same.

  • Relation between BSEG with Asset Tables

    HI Guru's,
how to find relation between BSEG with Asset Tables like ANLA and ANEP..
    regards
    JK

    Foreign keys
    - ANEP items are linked to ANLA via fields in common ANLN1 and ANLN2
    - ANEK header is linked to ANEP items via fields in common ANLN1, ANLN2, GJAHR and LNRAN
    - BKPF and BSEG are linked to ANEL ANEP via BUKRS, BELNR and GJAHR
Optimization (as BSEG is behind a cluster table RFBLG)
    - Append BSIS (ZABSIS) and BSAS with ANLN1 and ANLN2, then create an index with these fields. As BSIS is filled via MOVE-CORRESPONDING statement, only a one-shot report to initially fill the new fields is to be developed. (look at old OSS [Note 62435 - F-03: Selection by purchasing documents|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/62435] for optimization via purchase order)

  • Relation between idoc and EDI,ALE

    Hi,
I am new to IDOC.  Can u please tell me whether there is any relation between IDOC and ALE or IDOC and EDI. If so what is the relation between them.

    Hi Buvana,
ALE is a means of migrating DATA between SAP systems. You configure logical destinations, establish some migrating criteria and the system takes care of getting your data from point A to point B.
    EDI ->
EDI is described as the interchange of structured data according to agreed message standards between computer systems, by electronic means. Structured data equates to a simple and direct method of presenting the data content of a document. The method of ensuring the correct interpretation of the information by the computer system is defined by the EDI standard."
EDI is a technique used to communicate business transactions between computer systems of different companies and organizations. Note that sometimes the EDI mechanism deployed at a company is often used to interface to other systems within the same organization."
Info shuttle - "I was implementing EDI at a customer and I wanted some real data to test with in Development, so I asked the Project Manager to see if he could arrange something. Literally, 20 minutes later he came back and said that there were 10 new orders in Development, together with the customer master records related to the order, the carrier vendor master record, the material master records, ... were all there. I asked him how he had done it so quickly which led me to my first exposure with Infoshuttle, a tool that does this for you using the ALE functionality. As an ALE consultant I know how to do this stuff but I also know how long it would take to set that up.

IDocs act as data containers in an ALE scenario. They are just a format of storing application data and then transferred using ALE. Take a look at http://www.sapgenie.com/ale/why_ale.htm and http://www.sapgenie.com/sapgenie/docs/ale_whitepaper.doc for further details on ALE.

    Thanks and Regards,

    Hi,
if you have activated version management for purchase requisitions (spro - mm - purchasing - version mgmt - set up ver mgmt for PR), then if any changes are made to the fields as specified in the customizing, then an entry is made in EREV table. EBAN is the pur. reqn table.
    Hope it answers your query.

  • Relation between BKPF and EKBE table for reversing document?

Is there any relation between BKPF and EKBE table for reversing document when STBLG is blank in BKPF.
    AND
How to differentiate Old Accounting document / Reverse document / New document when in BKPF-STBLG is blank for all three document and BKPF-XBLNR are same for all.

    Hi Varun,
Table Document no (BKPF-BELNR) is link between Material document no (EKBE-BELNR). If you are looking for validating Material reversal document then please use following logic for your requirement.
Material Document (MBLNR) & Material Document Year (MJAHR). Pass material document (MBLNR) to MSEG-SMBLN to read MSEG-MBLNR with MSEG-MJAHR to MSEG-SJAHR, if record found delete both the documents i.e. MSEG-SMBLN & MSEG-MBLNR (donu2019t consider these documents in the logic) and display Material Document No. (MSEG-MBLNR)
