Relation with Master Recipe

How Process order is related with master recipe?

Hi Debasish,
Master Recipe is a task list used in the process orders like routing in the production orders.
In master recipe, we define operations and phases required for manufacturing a finish or semifinish product.T code for creation of master recipe is C201.

  • Populate PK(DBSequence) in three related tables with master detail association

    Hi
    I use jdeveloper 11.1.1.6.0.
    My English isn't very good.
I have 3 tables with master detail association between them and primary key from table A should populate to tables B and finally C .The primary key is a sequence from data base and I set PK attribute in table A as a DBSequence. (table C is the child of table B  and table B is the child of table A)
My association is like this: A->B(BAFk1Assoc) and B ->C(CBFk1Assoc)  and also I select Composition Association for these two association. And I select ‘Cascade Update Key Attribute’
When I insert row in these three related tables, a negative number create but when I COMMIT the PK populate only to table B not to table C and the exception below raises:
Constraint "C_B_FK1" is violated during post operation "Insert"
ORA-02291: integrity constraint (HR.C_B_FK1) violated - parent key not found.
If I only work with tables A and B, there isn't any problem but if I add table C as the child of B, this exception raises.
    Habib

The question is how you create the row for table C. Do you create it as child from table b (using the VO for B and using the link to C)?
In this case the framework should populate the PK of the master row B as FK in table C.
You may need to control the order in which the rows are posted to the DB to avoid this problem. Read Advanced Entity Object Techniques - 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.6.0) to get more info about this.
However, sometimes it's easier to control the generation and setting if the PK attributes in the model layer, not relating on db triggers where you get the real values only after the commit operation is done in the db. For this you can use a Groovy expression so you have access to the PK of each new created row right after creation. Read Using Groovy Expression to set a Primary Key with a Sequence Number | JDev & ADF Goodies to find out how to do this.

  • Master-Child relations with ODP??

I don't understand why I am having problems trying to build a simple master-child table relation with cascade delete using ODP .NET. With microsoft's providers, in the FILL command, you can specify the relationship in the fill command - Fill(dataset_name,relation_name). But in ODP .NET, it doesn't accept the relation_name as the second parameter, just the datatable. Why is that? are there any good examples out there that show working with Master-Child relations populated with Fill()? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Material Master Data related with an Asset

    Hi Guys
I was told that the material master data that I am creating needs to be related with an asset hierarchy, any one know where Do I relate material master data with the asset hierarchy?
    thanks
    Carlos

    Hi,
Though you Material grade is time dependent and sequentially changing.
You can create 4 different DTP with Grade selection (only 1 Transformation).
For example, 1 DTP with filter Grade A, another DTP with grade B, so on.
and executive all 4 dtp sequentially and activate master data after every DTP run.
    Hope it will workout.
    Thanks,

  • Issue with Master Detail relation in OAF page -- Help

    Hi,
I am developing an OA page with a master detail relation. The detail records are displayed in the subtab region.
The issue that I am facing is as follows:
If there are 2 detail records in the detail table, then my page is displaying these 2 records twice i.e.
    Detail Records:
    Header Id Line Id
    2 1
    3 1
    Header Id Line Id
    2 1
    3 1
If the number of detail record increases, then again the display also increases that many times i.e. 3 records gets displayed thrice.
Kindly help to figure out the issue.
    Thanks In Advance.

    Hi,
    Take the following actions.
    1. Try to display your records in simple Table and remove it from subtab,
    2. check relations as well, you can delete and re-create all the relations with EOs and VOs and recreate them.
    3. Also check when your VO get popluated that how many rows are there in Detail VO ?
    For example.
    int x = yourViewObject.getRowCount();
    System.out.println("Number of rows in detail view Object"+x);

  • Master recipe with chage rule

    Hi
I have following process for creating approved master recipe.
    1) Master recipe created with no change rule in recipe header. We dont want to use change rule 2 from c201.
    2) When recipe is complete then change rule is changed to 2 with ECO.
Once approved recipe is in system, we want to prevent back dated ( prior date to valid from in ECO) changes in master recipe
Could you please inform how to do it with above mentioned process steps.

    Hi Experts
    Please could you reply?

  • Unable ot activate ECM for Master Recip - Scenario - ECR with Release Key.

    Dear Friends,
We want to activate ECM for Material BOM as well as Master Recipe.
Scenario : ECR with Release Key.
We are able to activate for BOM only.
In object Screen, Master Recipe iline item is greyed out.
    System : ECC 6.0 - Ehp4
    Please guide.
    With best Regards,
    Raghu Sharma.

    Hello Raghu,
It is standard SAP behaviour that ECR/ECM with release key certain items will be greyed out. So try without release key. There is a SAP note"159414" to modify this behavior.

  • Earliest/Latest start - Earliest/Latest finish in master recipe scheduling

    Hi everybody,
I'm struggling here to understand why only phases 0061 and 0071 have different earliest and latest starts and finishes.
This is a very simple example with all the relevant phases being set for a 1 hr duration.
    This is a sequencial process (0011 - 0021 - 0031 - 0051 - 0061 - 0071 - 0081), except phases 0041 and 0091, which are not relevant for the analysis.
These are the relations of phase 0061:
And these are the relations of phase 0071:
Any idea about what else could I check?
    Regards
    Fernando

    Hi Caetano.
    This example uses backward scheduling.
What I don't understand is the different earliest and latest start time for phase 0071 and 0061.
My screenshot shows a example of a master recipe scheduling having as finish date 28/03. So, following a backward scheduling way:
phase 0091: not relevant (duration = zero)
    phase 0081: duration = 1 hour. Finish = 24:00:00 / Start = 23:00:00 (for both earliest and latest dates)
    phase 0071: duration = 1 hour. But then, latest finish = 23:00:00 and earliest finish = 22:00:00 ...
back to phase 0051 you can see that this doesn't happen.
Basically what I don't get is:
If the operations have a duration of 1 hour each, why latest start of phase 0061 is 21:00:00 and the latest finish of phase 0050 is 20:00:00 and not 21:00:00 ?

  • Formulas within Master Recipe

    Hi all,
I am currently looking into Formulas and Master Recipes,
Using transaction C203 you can see the BOM with its associated values that make up the recipe.  You can also look at any formulas associated with the material and its BOM.
I know the BOM is held in tables STPO and the formulas are held in table KALC.
What I cant seem to figure out is how the Materials on the BOM are linked to the materials on the Formula screen as in some instances I've seen the order can be different between the two.
Also I'm have been trying to figure out what KALC-ROW_ID is made up of, I think this is key to mapping between the two but cant seem to find any related help.
    Any Help much appreciated.
    Hiten.

Just to complete the thread a bit more
From what I've seen in the system it appears that KALC-ROW_ID might be a composite made of BOM Number + Inherited Node Number + other stuff

    Hi Kailash,
    What is mean by
I want to create master recipe without material, i have created the same.
    What's the reason behind it.
    Regarding error CO636,
    - Check your BOM of that 500000010 might be components are missing over here.
    or
    - might be From to To lot size of BOM is not match with your Process order qty.
    or
    - Also check Valid From to To Date of your BOM.

  • Do you know the idoc for master recipe?

    Hi all.
Do you know the idoc for maintain master recipe?
I am looking for the idoc.
I would like to create, update and delete master recipe with idoc.
I have investigated about idoc, but can't find suitable idoc.
(I did find it for BOM, but for recipe is nothing.)
    Thank you in advance..
    Satoru

    Hello,
As far as I can see there are no BAPI's or IDOC's available to upload Master Recipe data.
A suggestion would be to use the batch input technique to upload the master recipe master data. You find the documentation of the batch input recorder etc. via the menu path System -> Services -> Batch input -> Recorder
    I hope it helps,
    Regards,
    Marcelo

  • Use of "with master data & with out master data" at DTP update level

    Hello experts,
In DTP, I check "with out master data". When I try to send corresponding transactional data, It is showing SID related error. Can anybody suggest what is the use of "with master data & with out master data" at DTP level.
    Thanks in advance,
    Zakir.

    HI
HI in DTP level If you set this indicator, the system terminates the update of the request if no values are available for a data record.
Load the relevant master data before you load the transaction data.
If you set this indicator, the system terminates activation if master data is missing and produces an error message.
If you do not set this indicator, the system generates any missing SID values during activation.
In DataStore maintenance, if you do not set the SIDs Generation upon Activation indicator, the No Update without Master Data indicator in the DTP has no effect.
    thx

  • Material Assignment in Master recipe

    Hi,
Is there any FM/BAPI to assign material into a master recipe? Currently, we are using BDC to call C202 transaction for this purpose. This process takes long time for material assignment which leads to performance issue.
    Thanks in advance
    Senthil Kumar A

In LSMW , object BUS1012 is offered for routing creation and change .
Unfortunately there is no object for master recipe creation & change and there is no standard batch input, nor BAPI/IDOC, nor   direct input. You should create your own batch input or CATT.
    Here is a possible procedure:
Please record a Batch-Input with transaction SHDB and try if this work. If not please try with TOFF as described in the notes.
    Read carefully SAP note 142022.

  • Master recipe not pickedup automatically

    Hi all,
While creating process order the Master Recipe is not picked up in the master data tab....BOM and PV no are shown but not the Master Recipe...Is there any customization for picking up Mater Recipe automatically in process order....????
    Regards,
    Joseph.

    Dear
Goto COR4-Select Order Type and plant-Double Click -Look at Master Recipe Selection set up -It should be set to Master Reciepe Selection ( Autmocatically ) not manually .
Re-set this and check with a process order creation in COR1
