Yes... we have done this long back successfully..
The BADI - BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI can be easily used...
Also, you can look for BBP_SOS_BADI...

    Hi,
    The source list is the list which shows the sources from which you can procure the material. If you have ticked the source list requirement in the material master, then you can procure the material only from the vendors mentioned in the source list.
    In Inf Record, you maintain the data for a material supplied by a vendor. e.g. Material price, tax code, other conditions,, buyer code, delivery & payment terms.

    Hello there,
    I have sample question about SharePoint 2013. I would like to know how I can make a relationships between two lists in SharePoint. Here an example about what I want, The fires list is an information about the building. This list including, the name of owner,
    date of built, the price of building, location, name of the apartments ... etc. On the other list which called apartments, included, name of the apartment, the name of the owner of the building, contact information, location... etc. My question is HOW I can
    make a relationship between this two lists. Also, I will make many others lists that related with building list and apartments lists. So, when I want to make a report about the statue of the apartment, I want to choice the building then automatically show
    me the just the names of the apartments that in the same building??

    You need to use the lookup column to achieve this, i think you need to do alot of paper work, as you mentioned you will create many lists.

  • Parent/Child Lists and Disabling Contextual Ribbon

    I have a display form for a parent list that is setup with web part connections to show list view web parts of some child lists.
    When you click the child list the ribbon displays a "New Item" button for the selected web part's list. How can I stop this from happening?
    I have my own custom new button for the child items, so on the child form I can pre-set the relationship drop down box (and hide it from the user) using a query string value I put in.
    I therefore need to stop the default new button appearing in the ribbon when the user selects the list items web part (because I can't put in the required query string value).
    Any ideas?

    There are no updates to either OS 10.5.8 or Safari 5.0.6.
    If you need a later version of Safari you must first upgrade your operating system to a later version of OS X.

    You uncheck the music in your iTunes library on your computer and along with sync only checked songs and videos selected under the Summary selection for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes, only checked songs in your iTunes library will be transferred to your iPhone or remain on your iPhone and the unchecked songs in your iTunes library that are currently on your iPhone will be removed when syncing.
    Or make use of iTunes playlists and choose selected playlists, albums, artists under the Music selection for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes and select the playlists below that you want transferred to your iPhone.

  • The bullet list, numbered list and the normal text is not converting when I am converting from RH 9 to MS Word 2010

    Greetings for the day
    I am created a new CSS in Robohelp 9. I have also created a new template in Word 2010. The style sets for different information elements like (Heading, bullets, body text, ) are more or less same between the CSS and the new templates. I am also able to map the .css styles to Word template when I am converting from RH to Word as I am getting the necessary option in the drop-down list.
    However, when the output is generated, the bullet, the numbered list and the body text is not converting at all. The body text works sometimes. However, the numbered list and bullet list is coming out as images.
    If anybody knows the solution, I can share the .css and Word template.

    Hi Ankit,
    Is there any particular reason that the values need to be shown in a list view web part?  Are you going to use that web part for filtering via web part connections?
    I ask because the enterprise site collection features include the SharePoint List Filter web part, which may accomplish what you're looking for.
    If you just need to display the values in a grid view, you might have more luck with the JavaScript Client Object Model.  Try putting the following in a text file:

    Upload the text file to a library on the site, then add a content editor web part to a page where you want the distinct values to appear. In the content editor web part's properties, edit the Content Link so that it links directly to the text file.  This

    Hello,
    When i try to open document library from SharePoint Production portal then it throws the specified error. However, when i open document library from SharePoint Development portal then it opens it in file explorer quite easily.
    Production portal is on https whereas development portal is on http. Also, UAG has been configured on production portal.
    Any idea where it's getting stuck up? Surely, this is not a browser issue on Windows 7 as it's opening the development portal's document library on the same machine.
    I've also done following things:
    - Configured Desktop Experience on production environment
    - Installed the hotfix for Windows 7

    The cause and the resolution methods are the following:
    Cause: There is a missing Root site collection...
    Resolution: Check and ensure,  that the “Managed Paths” are not changed in the web Application’s page, there is a (root) explicit for
    this web application and there is a working Root site collection.
    If for any reason this is not the case in your environment, you may try the following:
    - Apply (if not already) the following Hotfix to one of those clients:
    Error when you open a SharePoint Document Library in Windows Explorer or map a network drive to the library after you install Internet Explorer 10 in Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2

    Then, try to delete the cache of the IE browser before reproducing the issue. Check the result..
    - Try to temporarily disable the Antivirus and test again.
    - Check if you have installed the Desktop Experience feature on the SPS13 server.
    - Check if you face this behavior with all users, Or only with some specific ones, Or with all different client OSes.. 
    Otherwise you will need to collect the logs to further analyze...

    i can do the same things with a list what an lov can do .
    infact a list is more better. cause the list doesnt hold/show a range of values, and only has the items value iteself.
    while the lov can get all the values of items depending on the query.
    like
    select ename, job, sal from emp
    will show all the three items values in lov?
