Relationship between table (bsad,bsid) to faglflexa table

Hi Gurus,
this is very urgent,
I am developing report for profit centre collections.
how i establish relationship between bsad or bsid to faglflexa.
faglflexa having docnr, docln and belnr,buzei in these doccument numbers which i will consider(docnr or belnr) to build relationship between bsad to faglflexa.
if any one know please send me the answer

Hi one of the options to consider to avoid multiple lines in FAGLFLEXA against one customer open item is to activate Document split by Profit Center, in the new GL
With document split documents in FAGLFLEXA will be like:
Customer 300
Rev PC -300
Customer 200
Rev PC2 -200
Instead of the standard one, that are causing your issue:
Customer +500
Rev PC1 -300
Rev PC2 -200

Trying to understand relationship between BSEG and BSID

Hi,
BSID is clearly the best table to look at when trying to get customer open items.
Would it be correct to assume that BSID has the same granularity as table BSEG though?
What I mean is, BSEG's primary key is basically Company Code, Document Number, Fiscal Year, Line Item. But BSID's contains a vast number of primary keys including clearing date, transaction type, and special G/L indicator.
Are these fields in the primary keys merely to make it easier to search for open items using these fields? Or, is it possible that for one record in BSEG there could be multiple corresponding records in BSID?

BSEG is the table containing all FI documents whereas BSID is a table containing only Customer financial documents.
In a way BSEG is a superset for BSID.
Searching criteria is based on the data that is contained in a table. Hence the criterion varies between BSEG and BSID.

i have so many partners under pft_5 (Employee) and all are giving value pft_5 in the CRMD_ORDER_INDEX table for the same GUID in header.. How can i find out the oppurtunities searching by partner function of PFt_5 group .. (Not sure what to ask since We have this new partner functiions added to the dropdown and i dont see any difference in the table based on the Partner Function selected in the screen.Each function has a different number assigned but I dont see that in the table)

I have a table FORM_TYPE and another table Str. The Str table is used to translate strings from the table name which are read from another program from the database and used to generate forms..
The FORM_TYPE table has a relation to the STR table via formtype.title_str_id = str.str_id.
The STR table has a primary key that is depending on mf_language and str_id columns. I generated entity for the STR table but can't insert from the application module new values for some reason... It says the record invalidates its own entity..
I am trying to create a table that will be editable and will have the columns Description, Name, Str in English, Str in French etc...
Want to create a Form_Type and in the same time to insert new values for each language... But can't make the inserts of the new STR work..
Also the FormType.TITLE_STR_ID has many values null already in the database.

Tried that I made view links and associations but still can't insert in both tables at once... Could be because the tables aren't having relationship between them or because the STR table has a (STR_ID, MF_LANGUAGE_ID) primary key...

I have an issue related to wrong profit centers. We have a workflow that updating the profit center to a G/L account regarding the business of Reverse Logistic. In that business, we shift from a G/L account to another G/L account.
Now I have to find the tables relationship between Profit center and G/L account, which contains the correct relationship between a profit center and a G/L account, so that I can profit centers related to the moved G/L account and the original G/L account.

Relationship between tables

HI all;
I need to get the following fields into my ODS.
1. cost center
2. activity type
3. version
5. Fiscal year
6. Posting Period
7. Activity Qty1
8. Activity Qty2
9 Activity Qty12.
I see these fields are stored in the following table
1. CSKS
2. COSL
3. CSLA
when I created a view there is no relationship exits between these tables. Please guide me through how to create the relationship if I have to include another table which is the appropriate one for my scenario.

you also need to take into account the table cssl. This is the link between cost centers and activity types, so between csks and csla. Now have a look into the content of table cosl. I guess the objnr contains costcenter and activity type concatenated together with some other information, --> KL<co_area><cost_center><activity_type>.

Lets take a scenario of populating an ouput internal table with fields from 4 unknown sap tables(relation between the tables is unknown). How can we check the relationship between those tables to populate the internal table..? What are the possible ways to check the relationship between tables..?

Hi Ram,
 I tried the following method to find relation between tables and i think it is quite useful. I hope this will be of some use to you.
-> Goto SE11 and display one of the tables.
-> Click on the Graphic icon on the toolbar or use shortcut ctrlshiftF11
-> It displays all the related tables by foreign key and even gives you all check tables involved. If the list is a long one, you can even use Find option to check if the other tables you are trying to find relation with, exist in the screen.

where V46R_HEAD TABLE is a structure and i want to display sme fields of vbak and some of V46R_HEAD and some of VBAP.
I got the relation between VBAK and VBAP ie. the field VBELN. But i am not getting the relation with V46R_HEAD sturcture.

Please check it!! Please do a CTR+F and look for VBELN.

Does table STPOX contain parent-child relationship between components

I need to get a list of components of SO BOM.
FM CS_BOM_EXPL_KND_V1 exports an output table STPOX.
Does this table contain parent-child relationship between components? If yes , can somebody tell me which fields contain parent child id.

Hi,
STPOX is not a table, it is a structure & hence there is no storing of data in a structure. The table which stores this info is STPO.
To get the link you can refer to STPO-STLNR & pass this value to MAST-STLNR, this way you can link the child with its parent.

ONE-to-MANY relationship between tables and forms in APEX

I recently started using APEX and I have run into an issue.
I have a ONE-TO-MANY relationship between two tables, A1 and A2, respectively.
A1:
A1_ID
Item
A2:
A2_ID
SubItem
A1_ID
I have 2 forms (lets call it F1 and F2) that I use to capture data for A1 and A2.
On F2, I have the following fields that are setup to capture data:
A2.A1_ID
**A1.Item (this is a drop down that is populated using a SELECT statement where the select uses A1.Item field)
A2.SubItem (user would enter SubItem)
Note: A2.A2_ID is populated using a SEQ
Everytime I pick **A1.Item on F2, is there a way to link to A1 table and display A1.A1_ID for every **A1.Item selected on F2?
If so, I want to store the value captured in F2 for the A1_ID field into A2 table to maintain my 1-to-MANY relationship.
If this will work, how do I go about implementing this solution?
Can someone help me?

I think it sounds like you are asking for a Master-Detail form. Try that and see what you get.

Creating a relationship between one table and the PK in another

Sorry the subject of this message is a bit vague. I'm not sure how to describe this problem in one sentence.
So here's the issue: I've just created a new block on my form based on table2. Table2 contains t1_id which is the FK link to Table1.
What I want is when one of the fields in Table2's block is changed and inserted, the t1_id is inserted in the applicable row. Essentially, I need :table2.t1_id to have the 'Copy From Item' property set at :table1.id
I cannot seem to see where in designer this option is. I asked a friend and he said what I need to do is 'create a relationship between the two values in designer'. Huh? In the Table Definitions the FK is set for the two, so I'm not sure how to do this.
Another problem, which I'm believing will be solved when this is, is that when the form loads, this new block, table2, is not automatically populated with the applicable values from the table.

Do you mean that you want to create a Master-Detail Form using Designer?
If yes, you need to define the entity usage from the Function Hierarchy Diagrammer, then attribute usage definition. Generate the module using Application Design Transformer. You need to define the Context so that master table's PK will be carried over to the detail table.

1. In the 2nd table call the field of the 1st table which is a primary key.
2. Give the same field and dataelement name.
3. Select that field and then click on the foreign key field icon which is beside Search Help button.
4. Then give short text, and the 1st table name.
5. Then in the below box give the 2nd table name and 2nd table field name which you have called from 1st table.
6. Then click on copy, then u will be able to see Check table name and check table field name beside foreign key table name.
7. Then again click on copy.

Best practice to load a table that is a relationship between 2 parent tabs

I need to know what is the best way to load a table that is a kind of relationship between 2 master tables and that is relating them. It is an append procedure not a replace procedure.
should it be a sqlldr?
what tool should be used?

Yes it is inside of a file that is a kind of .txt, it is ASCII.
I want to load without having problems with constraints at all.
But the point is that it should be fast enough to avoid performance problems.
