Relative values - true, new opportunities

Introduction to the pallet apperance relative values such as "+5%" or "- 6mm" or "+12 pkt" free the potential of flexible palette apperance.
Is anyone else could use the opportunity to enter relative values?
Are there any side-effect of working with these values?
Best Regards!

    Did you reinstall CS3 after CC?
    For that matter, doing an in-place upgrade on the OS is always a gamble with Adobe programs. Reinstalling all the versions you need, in order, would probably solve your problem.
    And you shouldn't need to save as IDML after opening the .inx in CC.

  • ALV Grid default values for new rows added with Add/Insert buttons

    Hi!
    Help, please,  to find a way how to set default values for new rows added with Add/Insert buttons in
    ALV Grid.

    I have found salution:
    ALV Grid u2013 Insert row function
    Sometimes we need to assign some default values when we create a new row in a grid using standard ALV Append row button. In our scenario we will see how to assign default values to Airline Code (CARRID), Flight Connection Number (CONNID) and Flight date (FLDATE) when a new row is created. To do that we need to handle DATA_CHANGED event in the program like mentioned below.
    Definition of a class:
    Code:
          CLASS lcl_event_receiver DEFINITION
    CLASS LCL_EVENT_RECEIVER DEFINITION.
      PUBLIC SECTION.
    METHODS:
         handle_data_changed
         FOR EVENT data_changed OF cl_gui_alv_grid
         IMPORTING er_data_changed
                           e_ucomm.
    ENDCLASS.                    "lcl_event_receiver DEFINITION
    Implementation of a class:
    Code:
    CLASS LCL_EVENT_RECEIVER IMPLEMENTATION.
      METHOD HANDLE_DATA_CHANGED.
        DATA: dl_ins_row TYPE lvc_s_moce.   " Insert Row
          FIELD-SYMBOLS: <fs> TYPE table.    " Output table
    Loop at the inserted rows table and assign default values
        LOOP AT er_data_changed->mt_inserted_rows INTO dl_ins_row.
          ASSIGN er_data_changed->mp_mod_rows->* TO <fs>.
          loop at <fs> into ls_outtab.
            ls_outtab-carrid  = 'LH'.
            ls_outtab-connid  = '400'.
            ls_outtab-fldate  = sy-datum.
            MODIFY <fs> FROM ls_outtab INDEX sy-tabix.
          endloop.
        endloop.
      ENDMETHOD.                    "handle_data_changed
    ENDCLASS.                    "lcl_event_receiver IMPLEMENTATION
    Register the events to trigger DATA_CHANGED event when a new row is created.
    Code:
        CALL METHOD OBJ_GRID->REGISTER_EDIT_EVENT
          EXPORTING
            I_EVENT_ID = CL_GUI_ALV_GRID=>MC_EVT_ENTER.

  • Relative value in Crosstab in Business Objects WebI

    Hi All,
    I have an Cross tab report where I need to compare between Current Year data and Previous Year data. My table structure is like below:
           2012 2013 CY vs PY
    US 100 150
    UK 250 230
    AUS 140 150
    Now, whenever I am trying to calculate Previous Year value through relative value function I am getting #computation error.
    My formula =RelativeValue([measure];([Year]);-1)
    Year is the dimension used horizontally in above crosstab.
    Can you please suggest what I am missing here. Please provide your solution with Relative Value () only as this is only a prototype we are working on and Relative Value() is going to be required in large scale for the project.
    Thanks in advance.

    Have you tried using the NoFilter function?
    For example:
    =NoFilter(Sum(RelativeValue([measure] ;([year] );-1))  ;All )

  • Relative Values in the Appearance Palette

    The values in the Appearance palette should have an option to be relative. For example, in the Transform Effect, you should be able to specify a Horizontal or Vertical movement based on  a percentage of the height or width of the Object instead of an absolute value of 0.139", for example.

    The relative values are very very much needed functionality. Through the use of effects and the philosophy of the use of applets apperance significantly changed the quality of the work and the capabilities of Illustrator.
    Are there any flammable implement this functionality?

    what do you mean i must have the value properties pointing to the attribute in the binding layer,am using a bean
    you mean my value should be like this #{bindings.name.inputValue},i don't what that because when i iterator my table am not able to insert value to database,check my post java.lang.RuntimeException: Iterator 'BeanIterator' not found

  • Show biggest index in array with value "True"

    Hello,
    Is it possible to show the maximum index number with value "true", like shown underneath?
    I can show the value on what index the series of "true" ends with the "Array Max & Min" function, but when there is
    one False between those True's, it will show the index of the True left of the False.
    I don't need to know the size of the array, because it has to stay 8

  • Error: this type needs one of the following values('true','false')

    I'm trying to use <c:if> in a jsp (in Workshop 8.1), as in:
                   <c:if test="1 == 1">
              <!-- something here -->
              </c:if>
              But, I get the following message when I hover over the error indicator
              at the test:
              Error: this type needs one of the following values('true','false')
              It will actually work if I do:
                   <c:if test="true">
              <!-- something here -->
              </c:if>
              but, of course, that's useless.
              Am I missing something here?

    David Karr wrote:
              > The value of the "test" attribute needs to be an Expression Language expression. Try changing it to "${1 == 1}", and that should work.
              Actually, I had tried that, and it would have worked that way if I had
              the right taglib declaration -- I had accidentally left in the rt
              versions, so a <%= test %> type of expression worked.
              But, that's not the way I wanted to do it, so I put the non-rt versions
              in, along with tld and jar files that I had in some other directories,
              then it worked fine. In the process, when searching my hard drive for
              standard.jar, I noticed I had four or five different versions, each with
              a slightly different size. Of course, I had to tinker, and downloaded
              the zip from Apache, figuring it would be best to have a matched set of
              tlds and jars.
              And now I get an error that the matching class cannot be found:
              > ERROR: response.jsp:1: Package org.apache.taglibs.standard.tag.el.core contains no member type of this name.
              and
              > ERROR: response.jsp:14: The tag handler class was not found "org.apache.taglibs.standard.tag.el.core.IfTag".
              But, if I navigate the standard .jar that is in my WEB-INF/lib
              directory, lo and behold, there is the file IfTag.class in what appears
              to be the correct package.

  • Network.protocol-handler.external.magnet type = boolean value = true

    Associating magnet files with firefox and qbittorrent
    With firefox 3.x the following entries in about:config worked just fine.
    network.protocol-handler.app.magnet type = string value = /usr/bin/qbittorrent
    network.protocol-handler.external.magnet type = boolean value = true
    network.protocol-handler.warn-external.magnet type = boolean value = false
    With 4.0 they don't, and as far as I can see the problem is that 4.0 will not accept "network.protocol-handler.external.magnet type = boolean", because it persistently changes its type to string.
    So how do I get magnet links transferred to qbittorrent through firefox 4.0?

    I too was trying hard to get it work, and none of them was working, but then i did something accidently ended doing, what '''[email protected]''' had done certainly with a little change.
    it didn work at first then, after couple of firefox restarts it asked for application to open magnet. ''firefox 4.''
    # network.protocol-handler.app.magnet = usr/bin/azureus
    # network.protocol-handler.expose.magnet = false
    hope it helps//./

  • Applet/object param name="legacy_lifecycle" value="true"/ documentation?

    I've recently stumbled across this applet/object parameter as a solution to a problem. However I can't find the official documentation of it anywhere, and believe me I've looked. I did find a reference to it in some Oracle product documentation but nowhere in the Java Plugin or Deployment documents. Has anybody spotted it anywhere? Urban myth? Legend? It certainly seems to work.

    Hello world

    The short answer is that e4x XML rocks!
    Beyond that, consider that you are sending xml to Flex. For
    any format other than e4x, Flex has to convert the xml into that
    format. The precise algorithms Flex uses for this are not obvious
    or published. This is why I have never liked using mx:Model. It
    converts the xml into nested objects, but i have never been
    comfortable predicting exactly what the resulting structure will
    be.
    Once you get an e4x xml node identified (toXMLString()), you
    CAN predict exactly whate the data you want is going to be because
    there is no conversion. And I and just very comfortable with xml.

  • Overwrite existing Domain values with new one

    Hi All,
    I have an existing database (It is not an SAP table, it was made for client, but I am not supposed to modify it). But, my issue is that, I have to change the values of domain used in it to new values.
    For e.g.
    Current Values are 1 - ADD, 2 - NOT POSSIBLE and  so on
    New values to be added: 1 - ADDITION 2- ADDITION NOT POSSIBLE.
    I tried using 'Fixed Value Append', but I want to overwrite the values with new ones.
    Please suggest me if there is any method to do it.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
    I don't understand if it a Z-table what is the problem in changing domain and why you are not supposed to change it since the task is assigned to you.
    Anyways, even if you write a code to change domain values, you would have to then get it moved to production for changes to reflect. Also, I don't think you would have the authorization to change table entries directly. Also this will result in inconsistency in various clients for domain values..
    The better solution would be, get authorization to change domain values, create transport request for this and get it moved to subsequent systems.
    Thanks.
