Relay for NI 6703

At the previous experiment, I used the relay (sc 2040)
for the PCI-MIO-16E-1. In this time, I am trying to
replace the DAQ for the NI 6703. Could you recommand
me the relay like sc-xxxx?
Thanks.

Hello;
Any digital SCC module that works with the MIO board, also works with the 6703 board. The best bet is to look up in the product catalog for the needed accessories of that new configuration.
You also have the option to use the digital relay SCXI module for more robust applications.
Hope this helps.

  • Cannot get db mail to work via SMTP Relay for Office 365 in SQL Server 2014 on Windows Server 2012 R2

Our company recently moved to Office 365 which mean our on premise exchange server went away as well with the move.  I am trying to configure my new sql server (OS-Windows Server 2012 R2, DBMS- SQL 2014 Std Edtion).  After some searching I found
this article (http://blogs.technet.com/b/meamcs/archive/2013/02/25/how-to-configure-sql-database-mail-so-send-emails-using-office-365-exchange-online-a-walkthrough.aspx) and have followed these steps exactly, but to no avail.  I did some further research
on the SMTP relay I setup and found a way to test it (listed here http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn592151(v=exchg.150).aspx at the bottom of the article).  If I drop the email.txt file in the pickup folder, it gets sent out no problem.
I have configured my db email exactly as describe here(http://blogs.technet.com/b/meamcs/archive/2013/02/25/how-to-configure-sql-database-mail-so-send-emails-using-office-365-exchange-online-a-walkthrough.aspx).  But keep getting an unable to connect
to SMTP server error.  I have even tried completely shutting down firewall to see if that is the issue and multiple restarts.  Any ideas how to get this to work on Office 365?

The mail could not be sent to the recipients because of the mail server failure. (Sending Mail using Account 2 (2014-06-10T22:28:41). Exception Message: Cannot send mails to mail server. (Failure sending mail.).

    Hi,
I followed this blog and got the below error message in the Database Mail Log.
“The mail could not be sent to the recipients because of the mail server failure. (Sending Mail using Account 2 (2014-06-11T19:34:00). Exception Message: Cannot send mails to mail server. (Mailbox unavailable. The server response was: 5.7.1 Unable to relay
    for [email protected]).”
If you are getting the same error message, you can try the below steps to resolve the issue.
    1. Open the IIS 6.0 management console. Right click on the SMTP server and open the properties window.
    2. Click on the Access tab, click Relay button under Relay restrictions. loopback IP address (i.e 127.0.0.1).
Then the email should be sent out from Database Mail without problem.
    Thanks.

  • 550 5.7.1 Unable to relay for [probably bogus Email address]

    Hello,
My Exchange Server has been reporting numerous instances of the following message (or very similar messages) most days for a couple of weeks or so now:
This is an SMTP protocol log for virtual server ID 1, connection #3. The client at "118.161.64.59" sent a "rcpt" command, and the SMTP server responded with "550 5.7.1 Unable to relay for [email protected] ". The
full command sent was "rcpt TO: <[email protected]>". This will probably cause the connection to fail. For more information, click http://www.microsoft.com/contentredirect .asp
The Email address is unknown, and probably bogus.
What really concerns me is that the messages from yesterday (Sunday!) contained a now defunct Email account from someone who used to work in our London head office, but left about a couple of years ago. To me, this implies that there has been unauthorised
access to the company IT infrastructure - possibly at both sites - and that someone is trying to get our Exchange Server to relay unsolicited / mailicious Emails. The above message suggests that the attempted relaying has not been successful to date, and I
can't find anything out of the ordinary in the SMTP queues or the Exchange logs - but the persistence does concern me.
So, am I reading this correctly? If so, what can I do about it? Or if not, what does it really mean?
Thankyou very much for your help.
    Kind regards,
    Keith

If your Exchange server is accessible from the Internet, as it would be to allow you to receive SMTP mail unless you have a relay server like an Exchange Edge server, then Spammers will attempt to use it to relay.  Your server is correctly rejecting
that, so I don't see a problem.  If you're worried about this, then you could contract with a third-party cloud-based message hygiene service like Exchange Online Protection, and the restrict the IP address that can talk to your Exchange server to those
    of the hygiene service.

  • Relay for use with USB 6009

    Hello
I would like to control a Red Hat solenoid valve with the USB 6009 (Very neat and economical multifunction DAQ!). The USB 6009 has some digital output lines specified as TTL. Can someone advise me as to a suitable relay for a 120V AC valve with a 6Watts power consumption?
    Thanks John Brohan

    John,
Here is the simple solution to your problem. You can tie two or more ports together which to get higher current capacity.Make sure you use the 4.7k pull up resistor after tieing them together. Then output all the tied ports together as if it is one port. In your case if you need 20ma you can tie-up 3 ports for 24ma capacity.
Warning!!!! You have to turn all the ports ON or OFF at one time otherwise it may burn the board.

    Hi,
I think you can check your SMTP server with your system administrator firstly. does it work normally?
And if you are using a Windows PC for APEX, you can check you SMTP server in your IIS administration.
From your error info : Unable to relay, you can follow below to have a check, if you are working on MS Window
IIS -> Default SMTP Virtual Server -> Properties -> Access -> Relay resitrictions -> Relay -> All except the list below.
    Hope this helpfull.

  • 550 5.7.1 Unable to relay for ... (not a question, just a FAQ item)

There's a bug in either Microsoft Exchange or JavaMail API.
An exception is thrown when sending an email:
    javax.mail.SendFailedException: Invalid Addresses;
    nested exception is:
class com.sun.mail.smtp.SMTPAddressFailedException: 550 5.7.1 Unable to relay for [email protected]
    at com.sun.mail.smtp.SMTPTransport.rcptTo(SMTPTransport.java:1141)
    at com.sun.mail.smtp.SMTPTransport.sendMessage(SMTPTransport.java:536)
    at javax.mail.Transport.send0(Transport.java:151)
at javax.mail.Transport.send(Transport.java:80)This exception is caused by, believe or not, because the same mail session has defined the "mail.imap.fetchsize" property in an earlier IMAP session.
I used this line to fetch a session and in the IMAP code I defined the fetchsize property to increase performance. An identical line was used in the SMTP code to fetch a session to send a mail. As it turns out, the SMTP communication is disrupted by the fetchsize property.
    Session session = Session.getDefaultInstance(props, null);
My solution was to change the SMTP code the following:
    Session session = Session.getInstance(properties);
Hope this helps someone, somewhere in the future...

Well, I don't believe the fetchsize property is disrupting SMTP sending, but it is true that
everyone who calls Session.getDefaultInstance gets the same Session object, and the
properties for that Session are set by the first caller. The properties passed in by
    subsequent callers are ignored.
The javadocs for the method try to explain this behavior, perhaps not well enough.

  • Evaluating debug src, and 'Unable to relay for ...'

    hello.
i wanted to know if there is any possibility to evaluate the string that is returned using debug mode in javamail. for example to know wheter conn to mailserver was ok. wether sender or recipient was ok and so on.so that i can (for example) build in some if-clauses to stop (and give a mesage to the current user 'conn failed') or retry some processes.

  • Reccomend the best relay for my application

    I have a NI USB
    9219, 4 Ch-Ch Isolated, 24-bit, ±60V, Universal Analog Input module
which I intend to use for RTD measurement (2 wires) with three pt1000
sensors. However, it is not intended for continuous measurement. I need
to keep the lines+sensor grounded when I don't measure and therefore I
need a TTL (5V-DC) triggered switch/relay to connect them to the NI USB
9219 only when measuring is allowed.
    Which switch would you reccomend?
    Thank you!

How many wires do your RTDs have (2,3 or 4)?  How many wires do you need to disconnect on your RTDs?  If you just need to stop the current flow, we only need to disconnect one wire, regardless of the number of wires on your particular RTDs.  This will require 4 SPST relays.
    9481:
4 mechanical SPST relays, 50mOhm max.
    9485:
8 solid state SPST relays, 200mOhm max.
If you're trying to isolate the RTDs for some particular test, we'll
need to disconnect all wires, which would require 8, 12, or 16 SPST
relays (for 2, 3, or 4 wire RTDs).  This would require up to 4 9481 modules, which might be cost and space prohibitive.
Note that both of these options simply disconnect the RTD and leave it floating... if we need to ground 1 or more wires, we'll need additional SPST relays (in other words, create an SPDT using two SPSTs).
If PXI is an option, the 31 SPST PXI-2568 is a great option.
If PXI isn't an option, you might consider purchasing the 9476 DO module, which has 32 digital outputs that we could use to drive external relays.  Said external relays could be SPDT, so we'd only need 16 channels max... now you can add more RTDs .
If I missed any details on your application, let us know and we'll look at other options.

  • Receive connector to allow relay for localhost

I have set up a relay receive connector to allow anonymous relay from another exchange server (send mails with Send-MailMessage cmdlet ) and it works just fine, but trying to send same mail from localhost falls into default receive connector and returns
authentication error. Adding anonymous users to permission groups in default receive connector it works, but it's not what I want. Is there a way to make the relay connector work for localhost too avoiding the overlap between connectors ?

    Hi,
Let’s begin with the following article:
    http://blogs.visendo.com/post/2009/12/23/Configuring-Exchange-2007-Relay-Settings-for-Exchange-Connector.aspx
“If you are using the localhost alias as the server name, be sure to include the loopback address (127.0.0.1) in the range.”
Thus, we can try to add 127.0.0.1 in the list of "receive mails from remote servers " setting.

  • DHCP relay for SGE2010

    hi
I have SGE2010 switch in layer 3 mode and im unable to assign IP addresses in second VLAN 2.
    My setup
Port 1: TRUNK , VLAN 1 and VLAN 2 --> connected to Cisco 887 FE3 Trunk with  VLAn 1 and VLAN 2 and DHCP pool for VLAN2
    Port 2: TRUNK , VALN1 and WLAN2 --> Cisco Aironet 1040 LAN WIFI VLAN 1 and Guest WIFI VLAN2
Port 3: Access , VLAN1 Windows DHCP server for VLAN 1 subnet
My LAN WIFI clients can get IP from Windows DHCP server for VLAN 1
My Guest WIFI clients on VLAN 2 cant get an IP from the Cisco 887 router on VLAN 2.
I did try turning on DHCP relay etc but didnt make  any difference.
Can anyone give me some pointers on wat im missing ?
    Thank you

Hi, if the symptom is that when you assign an IP address to vlan 2 the switch "locks up" then the reason is because the vlan 1 did not have an IP address assigned by user.
To fix that, you'd need to add an IP address for vlan 1 as you like then try to make an IP for the additional vlans.

  • Internal Open Relay For Entire Network

    Hello All,
Sorry if this has been answered, but I haven't seen anything that addresses specifically what I need in the forums.
I have a single Exchange 2010 Server. I've set up a new receive connector called Open Relay and have opened up various I.P. Addresses. What I would like to do is open it up for all of my subnets internally (10.0.0.1/24.) Which is easy enough.
Here's the problem, I only want the Open Relay to work internally, I do not want any of my workstations to be able to relay off the trusted subnets, across those internal subnets YES, but to the outside world, NO. Everything I try gives them rights to relay
both inside and outside, that is a blacklisting just waiting to happen.
This is so that all the scripts that I run remotely on workstations can send me emails with info that I need.
    Thanks Eric
