Release date of ipod touch 5g

can please someone tell mee when ipod touch 5g releases in the middle east

No..one..knows...otherwise there wouldn't be so many "when does it come out?" threads.
We're all having the same problem. Apple just hasn't said anything yet.
Just more waiting unfortunately.

  • Release date for iPod Touch with camera?

Is it true that they will release an iPod Touch with a camera? Does anyone know if this is confirmed and if there's a release date for it?
    Thanks!

If it's not on the Apple web-site, then it hasn't been announced, confirmed, released or anything:

Anything you read elsewhere is just a rumour until Apple says anything.
and let's be honest, apple rarely say anything until just before it actually happens.

  • HT201274 What's the longest it takes to reset settings and clear data on iPod touch?

What's the longest it take to reset settings and clear data on iPod touch?

If you mean Settings>General>Reset>Erase all Content and Settings, it should take less than 10 minutes for 3G and later iPods. It can take hours for a 1G and 2G and the iPod should be connected to a charging source otherwise the battery may dies before it completes.

  • How to retrieve all data from iPod Touch and copy to new computer?

I recently purchased a new iPod and MacBook. The MacBook was stolen and I had to buy a new one. I have a lot of music and photos on the iPod I would like to recover and copy back to the MacBook. However, the iTunes says it will delete everything. I want it to sync everything from the iPod and continue with that data.
    How can I do this?
    Thanks,
    gonzobrains

    You're welcome, child.
"backups. But that's not my point. I find it disappointing that I cannot sync my data both ways."
O.K. It still is the way it is.
"Here I have gigabytes of data sitting right here on my iPod and no way to natively copy it back to my new computer without purchasing third-party software."
    Yes, this is true.
"Every other mobile device I have ever owned let's you easily copy back to a computer. Just plug it in, mount it, and there you go."
As you now know, this is not the case with the ipod touch.
You asked how and I told you that you cannot without 3rd party software. What is it that you want?
Simply maintaining a backup (basic) would solve the issue.

  • Calendar data in iPod Touch zapped

I went to work and synced with Outlook calendar, all my business appointments went into my iPod Touch, then I went home to my Mac (where there was no data in Calendar) and synced, being careful to choose "the info in the computer will be overridden by the info in the iPod" (or whatever it said to that effect) and the opposite happened apparently...now there is no calendar data on either the Mac or the iPod. Is there any logical reason this could have happened, something I'm missing? Eric

Solved - you have to make sure the calendar you want synced is checked in iCal.

  • How do I transfer data from ipod touch to iphone?

I have an ipod touch and would like to transfer my data to a new iPhone.  I also need to know how to create a new library on itunes on the PC so I don't mix my info up with my sister's library. Thanks!

Move your existing iTunes Library that you use to sync your iPod to a new Library. This can be on your sister's computer or another one. Then, sync your iPod with that library.

  • How to set release date in ipod classic

I use my iPod Classic just for video documentaries (mostly archaeology) downloaded from my DVDs. How can I either get rid of the phrase "unknown release date" or fill out that release date.

Got MetaX, which works! Use the original m4v-file from the computer. When entering date in MetaX, do it like 2013-04-28. Then enter the file in iTunes. Then when transferring from iTunes to the iPod, it changes to April 28, 2013. Perfect. Great product for only $9.95.

  • Lost ical data on ipod touch during sync

Using mac book with snow leopard version 10.6.8.  I closed my mobile me account after it expired.  I am not using the cloud.  When I tried to sync my 2nd gen ipod touch, I lost all my ical data on my touch.  Before deleting mobile me, I exported all my calendar data from mobileme cals and imported all data into new calendars "on my mac".  The only way I could set up new calendars was by setting up a new group.  Don't know if this has anything to do with the problem.  Everything else on touch syncs.  I tried resetting the touch.  I also reset sync history in isync.  Nothing has worked so far.  How can I get my ical data to sync to my touch?

The "Time Zone Support" in settings on the iPod said Cupertino, USA.
I've turned that off now and it seems to have fixed the problem.
NB: There is a note in the settings that says "When off, events will display according to the time zone of your current location."
    Thanks for you help!

  • Delete others data on ipod touch 4th gen (6.0.1)

i have a 8 gb 4th gen ipod touch. the others section in itunes shows that it is taking 1.80 gb!! and i think its too much for just contacts and stuff. i removed my mail associated too. i tried restoring but in vain. i dont have any music too. i didnt put anything so that i could get free space for games. i downloaded diskaid but i dont know what to do with it? please help. and any suggestions are always welcome...:)

An "other" that large may indicate that the "other" included corrupted files or it may just be normal for the content on your iPod.  Usually restoring from backup eliminated the corrupted files. However, sometimes restoring to factory settings/new iPod is required.
    To restore from backup see:

To restore to factory settings/new iPod see:

  • How do I transfer App data from iPod Touch to a new iPhone?

When I restore from my iPod backup, the Apps that came with my iPhone are deleted. Where are the data files located so that a couple of games and other App data files can be moved over?

You can sync as many devices as you want to the same iTunes library, there is no limit. You can have the same content on each device or different content, the choice is yours. iTunes will keep everything straight, by device, upon subsequent syncs. Every time you sync, the first thing done is a backup. On your phone, if it didn't have as much storage space as your touch, you could have still used the backup of your touch to first restore your phone, then just not sync as much content to the phone. You can also easily change the name of your devices, anytime you want, in iTunes. You should, in fact, give each one a unique name, just to keep things straight.
