Release Date of OAS 10G Release 3?

Hello!
I would like to know the Release Date of OAS 10G Release 3?
Thank you!
Harald.

Hello!
Ok, I spoke of OAS 10G Release 3 (10.1.3.2.0) containing Oracle WebCenter Suite and the later Release 11.
I can't find in articles, if OAS 10.1.3.2.0 is a full version like 10.1.2.0.2 or more like a small j2ee version like 10.1.3. (the same question is for Release 11)?
Thank you!
Harald.

  • Installing OAS 10g Release 2 (10.1.2) for Solaris 10 sparc

I am installing Oracle® Application Server 10g Release 2 (10.1.2) for Solaris Operating System (SPARC) for the first time on an unix server. What is required in unix as far as directories, mount-points and etc. before I start. After downloading the product, it says to extract the cpio file, move the cpio file to an empty directory, then do: cat filename.cpio | cpio -icd What directory do I run installerer in. I have reviewed the doumentation in Oracle for installing the OAS but it is the prep work that i am not sure about.
Thank you for any help and guidance.

OK, when you unzip this or untar or make cpio, you will get Disk1, Disk2, Diskn folders, the mount for this could be anywere, even if they are in different mount points of folders, it's better to have them all in a same folder cause the installer will find the disks by his own, but ifyou have them in diferent folders, the installer will ask for the directory where the disk are.
    Hope this helps
    Greetings.

  • Alchemy 2 release date and the pre-release

    Hi,
All has gone quiet about Alchemy 2 .. what is happening? ... is there any kind of release date yet?
I want to convert my new game to IOS with stage3d, totally stuck until there is an Alchemy 2 version of Box2d Alchemy.
And speaking of Box2d Alchemy (also WCK) The creator of the port Jesse Sternberg (known as mayobutter) has tried to get in the pre-release program and failed.

For the good of the community he should be one of the first on the list!

We've just released a beta version, join the pre-release and try it out: http://gaming.adobe.com/technologies/flascc/

  • Release date Designer Headstart 10g

Is there a date on which the headstart for Designer 10g will be available?
If it is still pending, is there a document on what has to be changed to the headstart for designer 9i version (6.5.3.2) to make it work?
    Regards,
    Mark

    Hi,
This is what i found today on the Supplement Option Website:
Oracle Consulting has tested Headstart 9i patch 6.5.3.2 in combination with Oracle Designer 10g, Oracle Forms 10g and the Oracle 10g Application Server. During this test no issues related to Headstart came up. Therefore Headstart patch 6.5.3.2 is certified for use with the components of the 10g toolstack mentioned above.

  • Clonning OAS 10g Release 2

    Hi everyone
We are trying to move our Oracle Application Server from one HP unix box to another but we want to know what would be the best path to do it. The first thing is that we are in a PA-RISC server and we are moving to an Itanium Server
¿Is there any cloning procedure to take everything we have right now?
    regards

Metalink Note 276620.1 gives a good overview.

  • Major differences between Oracle 10g Release 1 and Oracle 10g Release 2?

What are the major changes and differences between Oracle 10.1 and 10.2?
    Thanks

Why not look through the 10.2 New Features doc?
In my experience, the "major changes" are almost always environment-specific. "Transliteration for Japanese Kana Conversion", for example, is likely to be a huge deal for a few organizations (i.e. big enough to justify a migration all by itself). Other organizations and applications, on the other hand, won't care in the least.

  • What is the planed release date for 10g for Windows?

    Hi,
10g fo HP and Sparc is already out, but windows not yet. Is it known what is the planed release date for Oracle 10g for Windows?
    TIA,
    Tamas Szecsy

On the other hand it's just somewhat funny for me, that it looks as if marketing woudl decide which platform is released first. Some times it is Linux, some times it is Solaris and then again it is Windows. You simply can never know.

  • PR delivery date vs PR release date

Hi, did anyone know why changing PR delivery date will affect the PR release date? Can PR release date remain unchange if changes made to PR delivery date?
    Pls advise.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
I guess you're referring to the Release Date which is shown in Quantities/Dates tab in the PR.
If yes, then what you notice is a standard system behaviour. This release date is calculated as Delivery Date - PLDT.
Hope the above answers your question.
    If helpful award points
    Regards,
    Vivek

  • External purchase order release date is not calculated

In our live system, when creating external purchase orders from tasks within work orders, system does not calculate the release date of purchase order as explained in the documentation (planned delivery date - planned delivery time). Strangely, when the calculated release date does not lie within the current year release date is assigned to the creation date. When calculated release date lies within the same year, correct release date is assigned to the PO.
Althogh our development and productive systems have exactly the same patch level, we do not experience this behaviour on our development system. This makes me think that the problem is due to system-dependent setting or some master data such as factory calendar.
How could we correct the problem? Thanks in advance.

We don't have a release strategy for PReq.
On the Preq Item -> quantites/ dates tab there are 3 dates: delivery date, request date and release date. In MRP process, the release date is calculated by the sytem based on planned delivery time and GR processing time. The PReq should be changeable by MRP up to the release date. On the release date the system should transfer PReq to SRM and mark the PReqs
as u2018firmedu2019 u2013 not changeable. This is a SAP standard process. Worked well with EPRTRANS.
BADI ME_REQ_SOURCING_CUST imethod CHECK_EXTERNAL_SOURCE is already implemented. The BADI controls what requirements to send to SRM.
We tried putting a check for Release date like: if release date is = < than system date , send PReq to SRM:
       if is_req_item-FRGDT le sy-datum.
       cv_ext_sourcing = cl_mmpur_constants=>yes.
It does stop new PReqs with release date in future from coming to SRM. However, the BADI is not retriggered for the same PReq when the release date reached.
Can you please guide me through the implementation steps? If it possible to retrigger the PI message via a scheduled process?
    Thank you

  • Release date for commercial version of Solaris 10 (x86)?

    Hi
Does anybody know when the commercial version of Solaris 10 (x86) will be released.
This is rather urgent as the Oracle certification depends on this release date.
    thanks

    It's already released. (~ Feb 1st, 2005).
    http://www.sun.com/software/solaris/get.jsp
(And it seems you can order Solaris 10 media kit now). That's what I thought but there seems to be a difference. According to the Oracle forums support for Solaris 10 will only happen once Sun announces the general availibility of the commercial version of Solaris 10 x86 (which aparrently hasn't happened yet), and that that date depends on Sun.

Just wondering if you know an indicative release date for the general release of AsyncOS 5.5 for Web? We will soon be rolling out our s650, and would prefer to do it on 5.5 if possible (i.e. if it's due to be released shortly, we might delay our rollout for a while until it is released.)

  • Release date dispute in PO.

    Hi,
In a PO, the "released on" date available in the "versions" tab is 31.10.2011 whereas if I get this value from Environment-Header changes, the date against ME29N is 01.11.2011.
This is creating problem for us as we fetch "released on" data from CDHDR table for a custom report.
Checked the values in tables also.
CDHDR has 01.11.2011 and EREV has 31.10.2011.
Rel. Time is 01:02:18 in CDHDR and 01:02:16 in EREV.
We have only one level release for POs.
Please let me know why this is happening and how to correct this...?
    Thanks & Regards,
    Siva

    Hi Umakanth,
From your reply, I understand that the "released on" date in versions tab is not the PO release date but the version release (nothing but version completed???) date. In that case, how the "Released by" and "Rel time" in the version tab are updated correctly.
Fortunately, in my case, the "created by" is different from "released by".
Also, in this PO, there is only 0 version, that too, is completed automatically due to the configuration.
Can you clear this doubt, please...?
    Once again thanks....
    Siva
