  • Oracle Database 11g - Does anyone know the Release Date ?

Does anyone know the estimated release date for Oracle Database 11g?

You will want to ask the question in a database forum. Typically Oracle doesn't tell you the release date of their products until it is released.

Does anyone know the estimated release date for Oracle Database 11g?

    Hi Nicolas.
    After reading this website.
    http://www.dba-oracle.com/oracle11g/oracle_11g_new_features.htm
    I'm interested in the
    Capture/replay database workloads
    Oracle HTTP server (OHS).
Web server load balancing - The web cache component includes Apache extension to load-balance transactions to the least-highly-loaded Oracle HTTP server (OHS).
and some of the Oracle 11g PL/SQL New Features...

  • Actual release date in CO03

    Hi All,
Where can I see actual release date of a production order in CO03? I couldn't find this even in COOIS. Please help.
    Regards,
    Jeewana

    Hi Jeewana,
    Check in CO03 - Dates/Qties tab.
I think basic scheduled date is the planned release date. Once order is Released then we can see the release date seperately in COOIS as shown in the below screen shot. Check and change your layout.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • What is the planed release date for 10g for Windows?

    Hi,
10g fo HP and Sparc is already out, but windows not yet. Is it known what is the planed release date for Oracle 10g for Windows?
    TIA,
    Tamas Szecsy

On the other hand it's just somewhat funny for me, that it looks as if marketing woudl decide which platform is released first. Some times it is Linux, some times it is Solaris and then again it is Windows. You simply can never know.

  • Oracle UCM Release Date - Workflow

In Oracle UCM the release date is shown at the date and time the content enters workflow. Is there an easy way to update the release date field with the date that the content is approved?. I am trying to report on the date that the content item was approved in the workflow, not when it entered the workflow.
Does anyone know of an easy way to do this. Is there any way in workflow to write out to a custom metadata field the date and time the content was approved?
Thanks in advance for your help with this.
    Data_Bitz

What you're probably seeing is actually "dInDate" rather than "dReleaseDate".
On the content info page the revisions table at the bottom has an (intentionally) mislabled column called "release date" that actually displays dInDate
dInDate is when the content item was submitted.
dReleaseDate is when the content item is released from all the workflow processing and indexing into the general collection.
It is possible to have dReleaseDate set during workflow but only if you set wfReleaseDocument=1 in the workflow script(s).
So report on dReleaseDate and ignore what's in the revisions table.
Out of the box, UCM keeps dInDate as the date that you checked in the file. However, we have a product, "Workflow Solution Set" that updates the dInDate to the date that the item is released from workflow and thereby shows up in the revisions table and any other reports as the time the doc was actually approved for consumption. Check out our Workflow Solution Set product (for 10g and 11g) here: http://bit.ly/95Rocu
FYI: you can see what is getting loaded in that table by appending "&IsJava=1" to the URL and taking a look at the REVISION_HISTORY result set.
    hope this helps

  • How to mask data in oracle 11g database release 1

how to mask data in oracle 11g database release 1
    my environment is
    Database: 11g release 1
    os: AIX 6 (64 bit)
    GC:10g release 1

    DBA-009 wrote:
thx but how i can mask data with above give environment? What does "mask data" mean to you and what is the environment you are referring to?
Telling us that you are using 11.1 helps. But it is far from a complete description of the environment. What edition of the database are you using? What options are installed? What Enterprise Manager packs are licensed? Is any of this changable? Could you license another option for the database or another pack for Enterprise Manager if that was necessary?
What does it mean to you to "mask data"? Do you want to store the data on disk and then mask the data in the presentation layer when certain people query it (i.e. store the patient's social security number in the database but only present ***-**- and the last 4 digits to certain sets of employees)? Do you want to hide entire fields from certain people? Do you want to change the data stored in the database when you are refreshing a lower environment with production data? If so, do you need and/or want this process to be either determinisitic or reversable or both?

  • [JHS10.1.3]About production version released date

Current JHS10.1.3 preview version cannot be used in production and we have to begin a new project now.
It's really a dilemma in choosing which version to use.
If possible, can we know the estimated JHS10.1.3 production released date ?
That will help us in project time control in the future no matter which version we will use.
    Thank you.

    Eron and others,
We are getting real close, but are not ready yet. The current schedule is to release the production version end of July, and we are very confident we will make that deadline.
Note that we will continue to upload latest builds to the cso.oracle.com, so you can already start development with 10.1.3 Preview.

  • Oracle BPEL PM release dates

    Hi,
Can someone give me the release dates and version numbers of the various BPEL PM releases up to now ?
I'm trying to get a feel for the maturity and get accurate dates, thanks !
    Cheers,
    Baber

Oracle released this product under it's own name in June or July of last year. A new version, 10.1.2 was released first quarter this year.
Before becoming an Oracle product it has been in production for at least a year or so as the Collaxa BPEL server. So I would say it is quite mature.

  • Oracle Reports 9i release date???

    Dear All,
Has there been a release date set for Oracle Reports 9i? We are having some serious installation issues with Oracle Reports 6i clashing with Oracle 8.0.6 database, 9i Application Server, and trying to get the demos installed so that we can really learn how to use this tool that seems like it will definitely fit our web app reporting needs.
Thanks in advance for any info,
    Jeff

Almost a week later, and still no change to the Express Edition download page. There must be some last minute bugs to fix.
At least 11gR2 XE fixes the problem (that exists with 10gR2 XE) on Windows where starting the Oracle XE service does not open the database.
Edit: that Oracle newsletter has been edited. It now says: "Oracle Database, Express Edition 11g is now available for download as a beta release, +and the production release is imminent+."

  • Product updates via API cause release date to be changed

When running product updates via the eCommerce API (Product_UpdateInsert) the release dates for the updated products are being set to 02-Jan-2000. Is this happening for anyone else?
This is kind of painful as we have a client who uses the product release dates throughout their site...

Ran into the same issue. I was using the release date to flag latest products, regardless of ordering. Unfortunately running a product import then destroyed all that work.
Found this thread with a staff reponse regarding it not being possible to set release dates using import, but it doesn't explain why release dates get reset.

  • Product Release Date being default set to 01-Jan-2000 when exporting and importing product file

    Hi there,
Just putting this out there to see if anyone else has experienced this problem.
    We've just redeveloped an art site that relies on the product release date to order work, newest first, by the date they added it  {tag_productlist,,,20,releasedate,true,true}
However, we've hit an issue whereby the 'release date' field is set to 01-Jan-2000 when we export and then import the product file, thus chnaging the ordering. The date can't be set on the import file (unlike web apps) and we haven't changed thousands of products manually. BC support have been stumped, suggesting it's our Mac's system date, but this is set automatically and accurate...and we don't want to change the release date anyway, that should just be the date the product was originally released.
Any thoughts or help would be greatfully received as this was a key part of the site design/development. This is the site http://hanguppictures.com
    Cheers
    Paul

  • CS 10.1.2 for Windows - production release date?

CS 10.1.2 for Windows - production release date?

No. Even if there was some news Product Management usually does not confirm in the forums if and when a specific release will be available.
My guideline is: It's there when it's there.
