Release of master receipe

Hi,
In process order creation after scheduling I am getting below error
Master recipe not released: 50000001 1
Can any one explain me, How i can release the master receipe.
if possible addition to this explain material calculation and formula.

Hi,
That is due to status of your Master Recipe.I think it is still under Created Status (1).Change it to Release(4).

Hi,
If you create more than one recipe for a material, then for the same group number the new recipe will be created with group counter 02.
This is same as that of routing creation.

Mass update - Master receipe

hello,
As far as I go thru online, I dont see any std tcode to do the mass change for master recipe..I saw CEWB works only for routing and inspection plans...also I saw CAA5 ..not sure this one would work.
I need to just change the status in receipes...any tcode to accomplish this ?
if yes pls walk me thru the tcode please............thanks

You might have overrides (i.e. the text frames have been extended/shortened), additional graphic frames, etc. on your pages.
If you use Format > Page Layout > Master Page Usage option to force FM to use the newly imported Right/Left master pages and you're not seeing any changes, check to see what the pags called "Right" and "Left" actually contain and if they match what you were importing. These two pages are reserved names that FM uses automatically. If the imported Master pages that you wan to use have different names, then you have use the "Custom" option and apply it using the required specifications of Odd/Even, numbered or named master page.

Google Releases Android Master Key Security Patch

Speaking with a Verizon Wireless executive relations representative today neither confirmed nor denied the release of the so-called Android Master Key Security Patch to all Verizon Android devices. In light of the much buzzed about release of the 'final' Jelly Bean 4.3 sometime in the near future, I asked whether a patch would come before the 4.3 update or would be included in the update. The exec support rep didn't give a clear answer, but believed that if an update is released this year that it probably would include the patch. Meanwhile, Android device users can download the free Bluebox Security Scanner app from Google Play (from the folks who exposed the security breach) to check the presence of any affected apps and whether your device has received the patch.

is there a way we can pull the list of master recipes marked for deletion under a particular plant, please let me know.

You can pull this list from PLKO table for your plant. The deletion field is "DELKZ".

Master recipes operations not getting transfered in SNP PDS to APO from R3

Hello APO Gurus,
I am trying to transfer SNP PDS for master receipes from R3 to APO.
Issue description::
The operation is not getting transfered correctly , some system default operation "010 generated Operation (from Planned Delive)" is getting generated in APO, also activity and resource capacity is not getting transfered. This situation exist for one plant 1000, for other plant 1100 the SNP PDS created correctly.
i have following points:
1. Is there some customizing setting missing on R3 or APO side for plant 1000 tbefore SNP PDS transfer
2. What need to be checked on master recipes data in R3,
i have checked on below points
1. FG Materials and all the Component Material to be in APO in a Active Integration Model.
2. BOM & Routing and Production Version setup correctly.
3. The Routing Operations have to Relevant to 'SCHEDULING'.
4. Try deleting the existing Integration model for materials & re-create new IM & activate.
Please help me to send SNP PDS correctly to APO to take heuristic run.

Hi,
It is good that you have given your already checked points.
Please check the following things also and try to retransfer the PDS.
1. Check your resource in ECC, whether you have maintained the Process formula.
2. Check you have maintained some values in Master Recipe for processing time
3. Check whether the resource has been transferred for your plant 1000 to APO and an active IM exists.
4. Also check the type of the resource transferred to APO. It should be a single-mixed/ multi-mixed or bucket resource.

At the time of CK40N what ever marked material few material not release

At the time of Standard Cost Run in CK40N Time toal material 70,
At the time of Marking total 70 material is marked,
But at the time of Release time 65 materials only marked how to resolved this issue.

Normally this happens when at the time of release any master data maintenance is going on or some times any material movement is going on. So you can try to release again I hope it will be done.

Overset text will not go into the text box that is part of the master for the next page

I am trying to (first time user) set up a simple trade-paperback sized book with some photos. Have set up several masters for chapter title pages, chapter inner pages, etc. When I copy text out of Word into InDesign, (copy/paste) the text overset box appears. I load it, then go to the next page, which I have already formatted using one of the masters. But when I select the desired text box ((Ctrl/shft) and click, the overset text forms a new text box, What am I doing wrong? thanks

I have done, this did work right for at least the left side of the spread, but never for the right side -
Make sure the left and right page master page text frames are threaded View>Extras>Show Text Threads. Here I have left and right page text boxes threaded on my A-master spread:
Checking Smart Text Reflow can make adding long text to master frames easier:
With Smart Text Reflow enabled I've released the master page text box on page 1, note the released frame has a solid border, while the unreleased master page frames on subsequent pages are dotted indicating they are still master page items and not page items.

How to lock R/3 master data transatcions when using Central MDM Scenario?

Hello Colleagues.
We are implementing a Central master data management scenario, all master data will be created / changed within MDM; so we need to block create/change for fields that are considered in MDM for the master records within R/3.
In a previous project we used authorization profiles to achieve this task. I supose an other option is to use the field status configuration.
However, I was wondering if SAP has something standard to achieve this blocking within R/3?

Hi Jorge,
SAP MDM has released Central Master Data management as standard already. Also SAP MDM SP04 has more features which will have easy integratoin for standard R/3 Repositories for CRM, SRM etc. You have a facility in MDM Repository for creating your customized Roles which will help you to block certain access to users.

Downtime needs to be reduced while processing releases

We are having SQL Server 2012 which is configured in Mirroring. Both are Standard Editions.
These servers are configured in customer environment and we do process frequent releases on these servers. Each release includes Master data changes, Table changes, Schema Changes (some times) etc. Usually we will take a downtime or hour or two to
complete the release process. Now, our customer is asking for a ZERO Downtime setup. They are ready to invest additional hardware if needed.
Can anyone suggest how to design an architecture to achieve ZERO Downtime with NO data loss.

Automate database changes and deployments, and avoid manual changes. This should speed up releases and improve the quality of releases too. Define the deployment
orchestration model.
Parameterized scripts and configurations.
Create build verification tests to validate automated deployments
Schedule database changes at different times (during maintenance window).
Find tools and practices to create smart automated tests.
Organizational considerations:
The less functional dependencies then changes can be implemented faster.

Text in PI Sheet and Process Order did not match

Dear Sir,
We are going to upgrade to our system from 4.7 to ECC6.
We have a problem with PI Sheets with the Long text. The text instruction shown in the PI sheet is not matching with the long text put in the Process Order and Master Receipe.
We are using the Process Instruction Category "INST" and we are puting long text for instruction for this in the Master Receipe. At the time for creation of Process Order this Process instruction Category fatch correct value of long text from the Master Receipe after released the Process Order, Control Recipe generated for the same Process Order. But when we are going to process these Control Receipe from the T-Code CO60, We find the some different text for the "INST".
This problem is not for one Material and Plant Specific.

There might be another possibility, make sure if you make any changes in the Control Recipe Destination program or user exit to populate the long text while sending the CR to the destination to reflect with the PO/Master Recipe.

Can I know what's the difference between master recipe and PI sheet? And what's difference between master recipe and control recipe?
I know control recipe is generated from process order. What's the output of master receipe? But how to generate PI sheet? what's the PI sheet output?

Master recipe will contain the Resources to be used and the duration of the process.
Process order will generate control recipe. Control contains process Instructions.While creating / Releasing the process order control recipe will be created. It can be created automatically or manually. We shall discuss the manual creation.
PI Sheet:
process Instructions can be attached to the Master Recipe. Process Instructions assigned in master recipe will generate control recipe.

Goods Issue from PI Sheet.

I created Master Recipe with Proce Instr Conc_C.
When i create Process Order i am getting PI Sheet
But i couldnt do GI from PI Sheet. I have tried from Call Trans, from there i can do.

Pre requisities
1. Material Master, BOM, Master receipe
2. IN master receipe - Control receipe destination and requred Process instruction category needs to be maintained.
3. NOw create a Process order and check if the Control Recipe has been created.
4. Now From co53xt Release the created Control recipe / Instruction to the PI Sheet.
5. Now in the co60xt - you will see the Released Instruction sheet.
6. Here in the change mode enter the value and report the data ( In case of ABAP ) / Complete in case of the Browser Based.
7. Now as we complete this the GR doest get completely posetd.
8. NOw you need to go to C054Xt and post the Process instruction.
9. If all your entries are correct then the GI would be posted.
