Release of movies in Russia

Hi there
I'm from Russia.
Every week I open iTunes and I look all list in search of new movies..
It is inconvenient...
Where i can find a schedule of a release of movies in my country?
Or the list of the left movies for the last week?
I want to know when and that I will be able to look...

Think of MenuBuilder as you would a web page. It is simply
something that provides a "front end" that points to your movies.
The only "size limitation" would be the size of the Text links. To
place ten on a Menu might require sizing the text smaller than you
might like.

How to know before release if movie will be rentable?

I've never seen the iTunes store tip its hand about whether or not an upcoming relase movie is going to be able to be rented on release day.
I'd prefer to rent movies from iTunes, but without having some advance notice, I generally have to plan to rent a physical dvd eleswhere, which is becoming increasing harder to do.
Is there some way to know, at least a day in advance, if a movie will be rentable on release day on iTunes? Apple is regularly losing business from me by not letting this info out.

Apple TV new movie releases

So If Iron Man is released tomorrow Sept 30/08. Will it ever show up on apple TV before the end of October? What about TV shows I would not mind getting some of the Mad Men or Hero's episodes. I would think that if itunes can store 2 million+ songs then it should not be a problem to have any movie you want to rent or buy a the click of your finger tips on apple TV! Yes I know there are licensing issues but come on. The movie industry will collect their $.$$ whether it is from Blockbuster or Apple right!!
What is the real deal Apple???

And the studio that released the movie. Ultimately it is the studio's decision whether to release it on an AppleTV compatible format not.

Where is Michael Moore's free movie?

Michael Moore has just released his movie, Slacker Uprising, to iTunes for free. However, it's nowhere to be seen.

I've been looking for it too (on the canadian itunes). In the original email I got from the website it said that it would be on itunes "soon". I guess it isn't showing up at the same time as all other download sources.

Best practice - over issue of move orders in WIP

Hi Business analyst guru's,
I am working for a electronics manufacturing industry. I am trying to use work orders functionality across our organizations. I am stuck with a logic. Please advise me what you do in this scenario.
BoM : I have a a board assembly which requires 10 components say one of each component on BoM.
Setups:
all component's WIP supply type is push, Supply subinventory blank for all BoM components
Release backflush components is not enabled in WIP parameters.
one fine day I want to build 100 board assemblies and created the work order for 100, and released the move order through compoentn pick release form with transaction type as WIP component issue.
Now the warehouse picker went into warehouse to pick 100 of each component with a move order with 10 lines on it. 2 components are in reels which he can not split the reel and split reel can not be used in production floor (reel size is 1000). He can issue 1000 against on the move order
Now all the material went into production and build the assembly by 100 units. But two reels are left over with 900 of each. here I can do a WIP component return against the job.
But expectation is if I want to build another work order (say qty by 100 again) this 900 of two components should be available for the next work order. If I do component pick release, the move order should request only 8 components.
Is this possible? If not what is the best practice to avoid WIP return transaction and avoid splitting the reel size?

1) If you have these items as Push, you will get a move order line for 100. Therefore, even if you move a whole reel the floor, only 100 will get transacted out of warehouse. Someone will have to manually transact additional 900 to the floor otherwise your inventory accuracy will go for a toss.
Have you considered making those items pull?
1) As and when the worker needs reel, he raises a signal. (different ways of doing this - could be Oracle kanban, could be a visual signal, could be a holler - whatever works for you)
2) You transfer 1000 to the fllor
3) As and when jobs complete, the 100 units get issued to work order
4) Whatever is left over (say 800 after the 2 work orders) and not needed is transferred back to warehouse and you do a subinv xfer transaction.
2) If you can't make them pull, then you will be forced to move the 900 back to warehouse when the first job is done.
3) If you can't make them pull, you do a component pick release (CPR) for multiple jobs at a time? You can group your pick tickets by destination operation. This way, upon component release, you will have 1 move order line with qty =200. The picker transacts the move order line for 200 and a subinv xfer to WIP for 800.
4) Here is the best case scenario. Don't know if your floor layout or factory processes will support this.
You make the items pull on BOM. You have a temporary holding area on the floor (aka supermarket) . When operator needs the item, a visual signal is raised. The supervisor (aka spider) checks the supermarket and brings a reel to the operator. Upon completing the job(s), whatever is left of the reel goes to the supermarket. Once the reel is no more needed for the day (or week or month), you do a subinv xfer from supermarket to warehouse of whatever is left. The components get issued to work order upon completion (of operation/assembly).
Do the best you can out of this scenario. :)

Loading external movies differently

I am making a web site with several pages that the content
will load as an external movie. Right now I have all loading with
the nav buttons "on release". The first page loads through one
blank clip and the rest in another. What I would like to do is have
the first external page/clip content load with the main page and
also reload with the nav button if someone wishes to return and
leave the other buttons to remain loading each pages external
content like they are now. So is there a way to get the first pages
content to load both ways? This is what the code for the first
button looks like now :

Standard cost estimation after goods movement when material ledger is activ

Hi!
our client is activated material ledger, for some materials standard cost estimation is done till marking but not released.
goods movements have been posted for those materials.
Now system is not allowing to release the standar price for those material in the current period, as material ledger expects same price for entrie period.
what is the alternative way to update the standard price for those materials ( with out reversing the goods movements).

Hi Ramesh,
When you are using Material Ledger, after goods movemnets for materials, no need to change the standard cost estimate as Actual costing run will take care to derive the PUP price.
If there is no standard cost estimation release for sold materials (e.g.FG), you will get an error message duirng the billing document release to accounting. To aviod this error, if you are using split valuation (valuation types) and mixing ratios (CK91N & CK94), try with the below steps:
Create a new valuation type for the same material
Crate CK11N & CK94,
Run CK11N
Run CK24.
Then release the billing document.

Urgent: Component Pick releases - Shortages

Hi Gurus,
I need help.
I am planning to implement work order process in our site. I think I finished all required setups like items, BoMs (say 100 lines of BoM components). All components on BoM are operation pull.
Now I created a job and went into component pick release form. The move order is generated for 60 components, and no on hand is available for other 40 components.
But what I want to see is if on hand is not available for one of the component, I should not be able to create move order. Because I am not sure when I get delivery for other 40 components in above example, until that my move order will be picked and staged.
Please help me how can I avoid releasiong the move order for a work order that has shortages?

Hi PS,
In genergal, if I have shortage, component pick release is not creating the move order.
I want to control few items to not to release, I changed the item's supply type as push and tried to release the move order for all lines on the BoM, but as expected for push type componet's transaction type is wip component issue and pull type are backflush transfer on move order. Assuming all material available
Then I went into BoM setup, unchecked the "auto request material", then tried the component pick release. Now also it created the move order for all lines on the BoM.
I did not understand what is the significance of "auto request material", or any other setting causing this attribute does not work?
Just let you know, inventory org setup, I checked "release backflush components".

Why is the movie Date Night not available in the US store?

Date Night seems to be available in the Austrailia store (http://itunes.apple.com/au/movie/date-night/id370805508), but not the US store.

Please note that content purchased from the iTunes Store is country-specific because of Digital Rights Management and Copyright laws that depend on the country you are in and the country the content you want is registered under.
If you want content on the AU store, you will need to change your account's address and payment information to one that is valid in the AU store. Otherwise, You will need to wait until the studios give iTunes permission to release the movie.

How to unlock objects from a Released Task?

I have a TR in which, there was a task added for my developments.
Thing is, in the same TR one person has created a program and smartform objects and released the task.
Now, I have to move these 2 objects into another TR.... I tried with various options like, tried to release the lock of the objects going thru the released task, Changing the package to Temp, Deleting the object from the released task and etc., but nothing is happening and a message is coming up(while Unlocking the objects - Request/Task XXXXXXXX already released(not modifiable).
In summary, I want to release the locks(on the objects - under a Task that got released) and move these Unlocked objects into a separate new TR.
Kindly let me know your inputs.

Though it may not be the right way, i generally follow this approach for similar case. I would change the status of the task (TRSTATUS) in debugging mode in table E070 from 'N' to 'D' and make the changes. It has so worked so far for me without any issues.
Now the request will be modifiable and you can delete the objects from this request and move to a new one.
But make sure you also delete the objects which will be transferred to the request from the task after you release the task in SE09/10.

ok so i made several flash files and connected them with buttons with, behaviours [load external movie clip] but when i moved it to a cd the buttons dont work. I really need help!!! how do i keep them connected.

External Movie File Script Question

I have finally figured out how to load an external .swf into
my flash file. The only problem is that I want to resize the
external movie to fit in a smaller movie container. The movie now
plays in the correct place but wrong size.
Here is my code, I need to know the parameters to force a

ITunes Movie Rentals disappear from iPhone a day after transfer from Mac

OK, this has happened to me twice now. Here's the scenario:
I have a long, international flight. I rent multiple movies so that I can have films to watch both to and from the destination.
I browse for the movies on my Mac (OS X Lion, current release)
I rent four movies on my Mac.
I then transfer them, one at a time, to my iPhone--a 4S with 5.0.1. (I do this because in earlier releases, a movie would sometimes disappear if I tried to sync more than one movie at a time).
After it's done, I see four movies listed on myiPhone in the Videos app.
About 2 days later, I look at iTunes and decide to load some audiobooks. I look at the Movies tab and it shows only one rental movie on the iPhone, the last movie transferred. The other three movies are nowhere: they do not show as on the Mac or on the Phone.
I check the phone. Only the one movie is present.
At no point did I start to play any of the movies. It appears that the first three rental movies transferred disappeared from the phone as if they expired 24 hours after the transfer.
And--just to make it fun--this is the second time the exact same scenario has played out. I had a long international flight at the end of September and on iOS 4 the same thing happened before that flight. All but the last movie transferred vanished from the phone after a day.
Anyone else run into this issue?
FYI: I have contacted support to see if I can get a credit for the "lost" rentals. But as of now I'm afraid to transfer rented movies to my phone.

Yep. Me too. Getting ready to fly overseas. My iTunes on my computer says they are on my iPad, but they aren't. How does that work when I can't 'find them' anywhere on my iPad?

Why can't I buy a movie in original language (english) because I live in Switzerland?

I really grinds my gears that I'm restricted to mostly German, French or Italian for the choice of the language of the movies I want to watch. I have to check every movie to make sure it is available in english, and I can only see that information on iTunes on my computer, which also ****** me off.
Apple, please do something about it. Why can I buy a DVD which will automatically have the original version in it, and not be able to buy a movie from iTunes without having to make sure it is in english when the movie WAS MADE IN ENGLISH...?

Because the movie studios released the movie to Apple with only those languages available.

Also, you should write the movie studios and tell them you want iTunes releases to be released with the original language as well as the language of the country it is released in.

Battery release

Seems dumb but ...
I have a new Pavilion DV4 laptop and I cannot get the battery release to move so I can swap out to charge the backup battery. This is brand new. The HP phone help says send it back for repair - two to three weeks! Seems there must be a secret that will avoid being without for all that time. Obviously, I don't want to batter the poor thing and everything I've tried so far doesn't work.
Is there an HP service center north of Boston I could take it to? I bought through Costco but that doesn't help for this sort of stupid mechanical problem. Thanks.

Yup, that slider is the problem. It's so tight it will not move at all from the locked position. I've used thumb with all my strength, and carefully tried to mechanically push it without wrecking it all together. No go thus far.
