Release of Planned Orders from ASCP to Internal requisition

Hi All,
Is there a way to stop creation of ISO from IR which is released from ASCP Workbench?
As per my knowledge, when we release a Planned Order, it will create an IR and ISO automatically. There is no such functionality like in Purchasing side where we can use ASL to restrict the PO creation process.
Thanks for your pointers.

N

Hi,
Yes but in that case the responsibility being used to release the planned orders should not have access on any OU.
Below is the other thread where i gave the solution for requisitions.
Release from Planner's workbench auto-triggers WIP Mass Load, how do we restrict
Please let me know if you are interested and we can do it at user levels also if can't implemented at resp level..
Thanks,

  • Release Firm Planned Order

Day 1 you release a recommendation of a planned order with an internal source.
    Planner checks the firm checkbox.
On Day 2 (next plan run) would you expect that purchase requistion for the internal order to be firm?
User does not have profiles set to firm internal orders when passed to OE
    Thanks in advance

  • What are the ways to Copy Firm Planned Order from one ASCP Plan to another?

We run two EDD Plans with very similar options, but with different plan horizons.
To have the suggestions synchronized, we need to copy the "Firm Planned Orders" from one plan to another.
We tried inserting the records in MSC_ST_SUPPLIES with Order type 5 and firm planned type 1 with appropriate plan id, but Planning ODS Load is not considering those inserted records.
We don't want to insert directly into MSC_SUPPLIES.
    Any inputs is appreciated.
    Thanks

You can also call a custom DTSX package in SSIS via the datamanager.
there are at least 5 ways of transfering data in BPC between apps.
    1. Through the front end (excel etc) via evdre/evsnds
    2. Through Script logic using *Dest App
    3. Using BPC's standard export dtsx package via DM
    4. Using SSIS using BPC's custom SSIS tasks
    5. Through Script logic using stored procs.
i am sure people will come up with more.
remember if you use ssis and move data into any table but the wb, you need to process the cube afterwards.

  • Restrict release of planned orders

    Hi,
I am working in ASCP - and my user would like the ability to restrict the release of planned orders by either planner code or user ID. Is there a way I can do this via profile option, or form personalization, or anything else?
Please provide insight on other ways to achieve this!
    Thanks

We don't have any query built on the exceptional window. As I am able to view below recommendations
    Recommendations
    Discrete Jobs 8
    Purchase Req 27
When we click on discrete jobs/purchase req, its not showing any planned orders in supply window.
Can you please let me know, which is the backend table which stores supply information which are displayed in exceptional window.

  • Exclude B2B Purchase Order from ASCP

    Hi,
I have a requirement to exclude a particular Purchase Order from ASCP. The item is inventory and also MRP planned. I cannot change that.
this is for the B2B scenario.
Is it possible to give a subinventory in Purchase Order -> distributions and uncheck the nettable flag in the subinventory. Does this help ASCP to exclude the PO?

A PO which is created with destination equal to a non-nettable sub -inventory will not be considered in plan.
    Thnx
    Partha.

  • Locating Planned order from a  purchase requisition

    Hi Gurus ,
A purchase requisition has been created manually , by converting a planned order . Is it possible to find out the planned order , from a purchase requisition   Pls advise.

    Hi
Once planned order converted in to Production order or Purchase requisition, we can't see any details of the planned order.Planned orders are stored dynamically in tables.once it is  coverted,Details can not be seen even in PLAF-Plan order table.
In production order, you can see the planned order number but for PR , it is difficult to get the reference Plan order number.

  • Migration of Planned Orders from one SAP system to another one

    Hi,
    A quick help needed.
We are migrating SAP data from one SAP system to other due to business split. Regarding PP data, can Planned orders be migrated as it is from one SAP System to another? What is the impact if we do so?
    Appreciate your response.
    Kind Regards,
    tanuji

    hi ,
As suggested , you can propose to migrate only Firmed Planned orders from SAP  to SAP system .
    How to acheive it ?
You can use below BAPI to extract details of planned order from Table PLAF and upload in TARGET SYSTEM
    BAPI_PLANNEDORDER_CREATE
Please note  newly created Planned order in Target system would not have BOM EXPLOSION and Scheduling .
If need , Make a BDC recording as a add on step to explode Bom and Schedule by clicking those icons in Planned order .
Technical Team can do this .

  • Tracing Planned Order from Purchase Req.

I want to find the Table - field relationship to trace a Planned order from Purchase Requisition.
Once we convert planned order to purchase requisition, system deletes planned order in MD04.
Is it possible to find out which planned order had been used to create purchase requisiton.

    Hi Raj,
Generally Peggeed requirement is nothing but it represents the Higer level material. For example if raw material purchase requisition for 100 nos, then it is a Pegged Requiremet of the Assembly or the FERT. Simple its a dependent requiremnt for FERT or SFG.
MD09 is used to find out the Pegged Requirement. If you give the Purchase Requisitiion of the Raw material, then system will tell you the pegged requirement i.e. the production order order to which the purchase requisition belongs to.
Pegged requirement may be a Sales Order,Reservation,Production Order,Project,Network,WBS etc.
Select one MRP element in MD04 screen and if you select pegged requirements system will show you these elements created for any higher level material or not.
Note :Once a GR is done to PO, there is no more pegging possible for the PO, as it is in Inventory. Pegging is possible as long as it is an open order (PO, PR etc.)
Apart from above case If you have other requirment you to devlope your own.
    Regards,
    Ram

  • How to create planned order from the sales order for a processing item

In the MTO sceanrio, assembly order is created directly from the sales order. I would like to create a planned order from the sales order.
I tried the Planning strategy group 81 in the material master but it didnt work.
Could you please let me know how to do it? Is it Schedule line config that controls whether planned order is created?
    Thanks
    Harish

    Narayana,
Planning strategy 82 is the best & standard way of getting production order created on sale order create.
just assign this strategy  in MRP 3 view under strategy group.
If not then using sale order reqt type ( KMFA- Assembly with production order) & assigning this to your sale order item category is also another way to create prodcution order without using planning strategy in material master.
Follow steps in SPRO-->Sales & dist --> basic functions >avail check &transfer of requirements> transfer reqts-->determination of reqt type using transaction
Here you may select the item category you in sale orders & assign KMFA to your item category. this will then give option in sale order create to change reqt type to KFMA for assebly orders.
If you need KFMA to be default assign it to Item cat/ MRP type ( PD) combo.

  • Block individual planned orders from CIF

    Hello All,
I would like to know if there is a way to exclude individual planned orders from CIF transfer from R/3 to APO?
    Thanks and Regards

    Hi Gabriella,
It would not make sense to modify the standard way of working of SAP APO only for 2 months.
If you use any kind of enhancements, etc, you would need to later on remove it or deactivate it.
Best option would be to make adjustments in your forecast so that SNP could plan additionally for this temporary demand. Otherwise create dummy sales orders in R/3 which would inflate the demand. But this would be feasible, only if you DON'T automatically confirm the Sales orders for delivery in some way, or if you could think of some way in which these Sales Orders do not get processed further in some way.
Or, as you yourself mentioned, increase the safety stock temporarily, and later on (may be after 2 months), reduce it to the normal value. But especially closer to end of 2 month period, someone would need to manually adjust planned or production orders in R/3 to have data sanity. Similarly, action would be needed in APO also to have data in sync with R/3.
You could have created the planned orders directly in R/3 and sent them across to APO, but this would increase the receipt situation, so SNP would then start planning for lower "net demand".
PS: In such scenarios where business needs something temporarily and which can't fit in the standard process, it is best that we  convince them to have some workarounds which might not really sound like businesswise wise (in this case creating additional forecast).
    Thanks - Pawan

  • Release Planned Orders from SNP to R/3

    Hello Experts:
I have a business request to release the Production Planned KF from SNP into a frozen MPS (or even an inactive fcst version) in R/3.  Since we have only released a forecast from the DP side to R/3 in the past, can anyone tell me the best practice to release from SNP to R/3?  Do I need to create an info cube to perform the release?
The business runs a Heuristic in SNP at the finished good level and the makes modifications and would like to release this to be used in the R/3 MRP run for some groups of materials, as opposed to releasing the forecast for MRP to run on.
Currently, I can send the data from SNP Production Planned KF to a time series KF in DP and release to MD63 from there, but they would like to release directly from SNP in the future.
    Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
    Andrea

    Hi Andrea,
If you want to release SNP planning data to ECC, you need to make following settings.
    In customizing
    Maintain Distribution definitions
Maintain Settings in Configure transfer to OLTP system in SNP customizing-Global Settings.
If you maintain periodic setting in SNP setting, you need to run transaction /SAPAPO/C5 to transfer data.
As well as u can do this also :
    1) You need to create a release profile using transaction /sapapo/mc8s
    2) In release profile, you need to maintain planning area,  key figure to
be transformed, plg version, category, etc.,
    3) Once it is created, using transaction /sapapo/mc8t, maintain the
    R/3 transfer steps
    4) Then create a planning job in background using transaction
    /sapapo/mc8d

  • Merge of planned orders from the same product

    Hi Experts,
We have some lines where we process materials with different properties so setup time/costs between ones and anothers are very important.
If we run the PPDS Optimizer or scheduling based on setup groups for a period of 2 weeks then depending on the demands we may get 2 or 3 orders of the same material followed. Is there a possibility that once we have the short-term plan and we have this situation we run a heuristic that merge orders from the same material into one order? Capacity Driven heuristic does not fulfill our requirements.
    Ex:
    Order 1 = 10000 PC
    Order 2 = 20000 PC
    Order 3 = 5000 PC
They are followed in the resource so we would like to have one of 35000 PC.
Right now, we are using a simulation so looking at the total amount of the followed orders then we can get an idea of which should be the minimum lot size to be used .   They can also modify the total quantity of the first order with the sum of the others but none of these 2 options makes the customer totally happy.
    Any suggestions?
    Regards
    CTF

    After PPDS Optimizer .
Get the list of all FG PPDS orders into an internal table.
    Use     BAPI_PRDSRVAPS_GETLIST2
               BAPI_MOSRVAPS_GETLIST2
Consolidate the orders which are in scheduled status for each product, resource and PPM.
Sum the quantities.Create the Orders and delete the old orders.
Use BAPI_MOSRVAPS_DELEMULTI (For deleting the Orders)
Use BAPI_MOSRVAPS_SAVEMULTI3( For creating a new Order)
    Thanks,
    nandha
