Releasing of request number

In how many ways can u release a request number.I know se10,se09,se01. are there any other ways.

GO to se01, se09 or se10
select your request no.
if not released u can delete it from here.
And,
Do you mean the Purchase requisiton ,then go to ME52
select the line and press the delete button and save.

Hi Friends,
Whenever i release the Transport request from SE01 i am getting the following error. Please view the attached image . Could you please explain about that error ? and how can i prevent it in future ?

At starting it shows warning like " Your object contains error continue or cancel " but if i proceed with continue after completion of the releasing process it shows (0) successfully completed but not with an error message. As Krishna Chaitanya said i might have used any dependent object. by reading all of your answer i could understand that this is not sever problem. But i would like to understand this process very clearly . All i want to know is
how to release the request without any inconsistencies?
and which is the best way, ?
is there any requisition before i initiate releasing ?

Unable to Release request number from DEV

I want to release the request Number from Development,But it is not allowing me and saying :'You are not authorized to lock requests or tasks". please help how can i solve this problem as we Dont have Basis person.

se03 ---> search for objects in request/tasks ---> choose correct line (for your report, choose prog) ---> write your report's name ---> choose all request types ( also modifiable)
search your report in other modifiable requests

I do not know a way to do it in se10 but a simple program could do the trick.
Include the following code in your program.
update e07t set as4text = 'your new description'
where trkorr = your_cr and langu = 'E'.
Of course you will have to wrestle with the 'moral issue' of directly updating SAP delivered tables

please cross check the request number your are providing of the PRD system.. That shouldnt be a probelm...

How to delete the Request Number

Hi all,
How to delete the Requset Number in Development Client.Already i transported this Req. Number to Tesing Client.

For what purpose, deleting the request number won't restore your dev system. You can remove the request from the import queues via transaction STMS to insure it will not be accidentally imported.
You can usually only destroy a request in source system if it has not been released and all objects are unlocked, but this is risky in some cases and may cause a loss of information or coherence.

Having issue in releasing a request

i was releasing my request a minute ago it was working fine
then i updated my report and gave a new request number while releasing the new request i got the following error

Diagnosis
Your transport request could not be exported, since all requirements were not fulfilled.

Write authorization for the subdirectories
Write authorization for the files of the subdirectories cofiles, data, log, sapnames
Release the request again when the error has been removed

 actually your project manager create the change request and he will assign the users to the transport request(the users nothing but the people are working under the project).Under the transport request task is created for the included users.for example there are 5 people working on the project including the project manager total 1 change request and 5 tasks are going to created. if change request no is 1 then the task nos are 2,3,4,5,6.the project manager will give or in the specifications the transport no will be given to the users and the developed objects are going to stored under the task no.for example you are request report then your development is going to store under your task request completing your developing and if you found there are no issues then you have to release your task and after the releasing of all the tasks then the project manager will release the change request. upto this its the work of technical consultant(ABAPers) after that BASIS people will transport from development server to quality server.
here i am givingthe the procedure.
> When a new development project starts, the person responsible for development creates a change request, and assigns the project team members to it. The Transport Organizer assigns a project number to the change request using the naming convention <sid>K9<nnnnn> (for example, C11K900001). A change request should include objects between which there exists a logical relationship, and which can only be meaningfully executed together. This means that change requests allow the transport and management of complete and meaningful developments.
> The Transport Organizer then creates a task for each team member. Whenever a team member assigns a Repository object to the change request, it is entered in his or her task. At the end of the project, the task contains all of the objects that the team member has worked on.

ChaRM. Release Transport Request

Hello colleagues!
I need your advice about background user for releasing of requests. I've found information in help that request may be released by [bg.user|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_sm32/helpdata/en/35/613542e454b104e10000000a1550b0/content.htm]. And I suppose that the connection SM_SIDCLNT200_TMW can provide this functionality for user SMTMSSD (determined in this RFC). But during try to release requests in SCMA under CH_MANAGER (context->Schedule) I get error "Processing completed, but has errors", as a result request is not released. I've also found that system even doen't want to use bg.user, but tries to release request via CH_MANAGER. The trace file (ST01) showed me only CH_MANAGER actions during release request. Where can be the problem? Is it normal that system tries to release request not under bg.user?

On page number 8. now comes to your error, Please understand tat You can not rlease the task in solman, so please ensure all your tasks in the TR get relased from the corresponding satellite system.

Hi,
1) first u r collected objects should be in transportable package(not in $TMP)
then u check in SE09 which are the objects u r collected those things are avilable in that request or not if not there once again u should collect before transport and check that request if any locks are there if there release in SE03
2) now in SE09 first u relase the task(subordinated one) then release the request.and u can see that request in imported server in tcode of STMS.

Transport request number in LO extraction

What we have to mention in transport request number field while doing LO extraction ? where to find it ??

Trnasport request number is system generated. you can foloow the below steps to activate and transport the LO data source.
1) activate the data source in RSA5
2) goto LBWE, you will find the DS in yellow color.
3) click on activate, now system will promt for transport number. note down this transport number and click on continue
4) you can check this transport in SE01/SE09 and release the same request.
5) based on your system transportation settings, you can see this transport in next system in STMS

The package number i refer is the service package number. The package number is being asked for when i refer the tables ESLH and ESLL.

Delete an already released transport request

Hello together,
I have a problem in SE09/SE10 with a transport request.
The request is as follows:
Modifiable
D01K939667 100 Username /Description
D01K939668 Username Customizing Task
The requests itself has the status "Modifiable". The task D01K939668 within the request is already released. I have to delete the whole request now, but when trying to delete it, it says "Request D01K939668 already released". How can I delete a task within a request, that is already released?

Of course, you can
But you have to chnage status of the request:
Use transaction SE38 or SA38 and run program: RDDIT076
Set your request number and run the program
After request is shown double click on it
You should be able to change status from R to D
And now, you can delete the transport for example in transaction: SE10...
