Relink of procbuilder fails while applying developer6i_patchset 19
I'am having a problem relinking procbuilder while applying developer6i_patchset 19 (6194129)
the error says shown below:
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find /M300i/DEV/devora/8.0.6/lib/stubs/libc.so.6
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [de60desm] Error 1
The compiler is looking for that file "libc.so.6" under "/M300i/DEV/..." directory, it is suppose to look under "/home/DEV/...." directory.
When we migrated our DEV instance Apps Tier last month, we initially migrated it to under "/M300i/DEV/" directory, but then later moved it to "/home/DEV/" directory and ran the corresponding autoconfig , now it looks like the compiler is still pointing to "/M300i/DEV/" directory.
shown below is what I tried to run and how it errored out:

Can someone help me to find out where is it that it is pointing to "/M300i/DEV/" instead of "/home/DEV/" ?

Thank you Hussain,
That note helped me solve that problem, but I'am getting another error now, shown below:

Hi,
I'm following this
guide I'm getting an error when running the below command:
Set-VMNetworkAdapterVlan -vmname PurpleVM1 -Isolated -PrimaryVlanId 2 –SecondaryVlanId 4
Generates the following error:
Set-VMNetworkAdapterVlan : The operation failed.
Failed while applying switch port settings 'Ethernet Switch Port VLAN Settings' on switch 'New Virtual Switch': One or
more arguments are invalid (0x80070057).
A parameter that is not valid was passed to the operation.
Does anyone know why this is happening?
taHi TomG101,
It seems that there is a configuration conflict on the virtual switch port .
Also I tested the command on my lab , it works .
For troubleshooting please create a new virtual switch then try to configure again .
Any further information please feel free to let us know .
Best Regards
Elton Ji

When I gave opmnctl status command in the command prompt I found that the issue is with starting up the HTTP Server . Rest all components of opmn were up and running.
The error msg i got is:

Automatic files deployment failed while applying HCM - MP4
Hi Nicholas,
i am applying MP4 using Change Assistant but it failed to automatically deploy the files in the PS_HOME directory.
so i manually copied files from the source package and placed into the respective directories in PS_HOME
Now while the change assistant was performing the job (1 of 3), i need to copy files from the 'classes' folder and have to place it in PS_HOME, but i did not see any 'classes' directory in PS_HOME
Regards,

Prerequisite "Clusterware version" fail while applying 10.2.0.4 pachset
I've installed Oracle Clusterware and Oracle RAC 10gR2 on two nodes.
Now I'd like to apply latest pachset 10.2.0.4 available for Linux 32bit.
This is the output about my current versions:
[oracle@node1 ~]$ crsctl query crs activeversion
CRS active version on the cluster is [10.2.0.1.0]
[oracle@node1 ~]$ crsctl query crs softwareversion
CRS software version on node [node1] is [10.2.0.1.0]
Why am I getting the following prerequisite error ?
Checking Oracle Clusterware version ...
Check complete. The overall result of this check is: Failed <<<<
Problem: The 'active' version of Oracle Clusterware is not 10.2.0.4.0.
Recommendation: You must upgrade all nodes of the cluster to Oracle Clusterware 10.2.0.4.0. If you have upgraded some but not all of the nodes to use the 10.2.0.4.0 version of Oracle Clusterware, then the 'active' version will not be 10.2.0.4.0. You must upgrade all nodes in the cluster to Oracle Clusterware 10.2.0.4.0 before proceeding with this installation.
Can I simply check this prerequisite (as User Verified) and continue to upgrade (first) the Oracle Clusterware and then the database ?
Thanks,
MarcoLooks like you are attempting to patch the ORACLE_HOME to 10.2.0.4 before patching the CRS. You have to first patch the CRS home to 10.2.0.4 and then your $OH.
Or possibly you are really intending to patch the CRS, but apparently you are selecting the destination home as $OH instead of $CRS_HOME.
HTH
Thanks
