Reload applications
I am getting the following error:
Download Error: Please retry to try again or contact customer support
everytime I press the "reload applications" button in the creative cloud app, I am on a Mac Maverics
anyone gets the same?

I'm getting a Download Error warning after attempting to download and install CC. No error code – just a button prompt to Reload Applications which takes me straight back to the Download Error. All my previously installed CC apps work fine but I need to upgrde to be compatible with colleagues. Thanks
I'm having exactly the same problem......I'm running an iMac with OS X 10.10.1. We have BT fibre optic business broadband. Everything has been running just fine until about 2 weeks ago when the apps in my CC panel just disappeared. I have made no changes to our systems and I am the only person to administer it all.....

Every time I click to update an application I get a window "Download Error" it gives me the option to "Contact customer support" and a link "Reload Applications"

When I open Adobe cloud and try to reload applications I get an message (download error) I have try several times but still getting same error can anybody help with this issue?
I am very frustrated with my Creative Cloud application - in particular I am constantly losing the creative desktop box where I see my recent updates and programs. It will not launch. I have had a CC membership for almost a year and this is a recurring problem. Please tell me how to fix it. Why does the Creative Cloud program fail to launch? On other suggestion- I am a member of CC so why send me into the sales area ? I don't need to go that path. Very confusing.

Creative Cloud says 'Download Error' and will not reload applications
I need the newest version of Premiere CC and my adobe creative cloud desktop application manager refuses to connect for updates, I have internet connection and valid creative cloud account. Im stuck on premiere version 7.2.2 and I need to be able to open projects created with the newer verison 8. Ive tried signing out and back in to the cloud account as well as re-downloading it.
Have you tried these steps :
1. Navigate to Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE and rename it to OOBE.old
2. Enable root account: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1528 and log on to root
3. Disable any security software if installed on Mac
4.Delete opm.db file located at :MAC : ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe
(opm.db file is present in your user library.This library is hidden from MAC 10.7 onwards.
So in order to locate that,
Click on Go at the top
Select Go to folder
type ~/library/
This will take you to the library folder and then you can locate opm.db file at Application Support/Adobe)
5. Download CC desktop from www.creative.adobe.com and try to install it. Incase you are not successfull then please Check the Activity Monitor and see if AAM process is running, if yes then try to kill the process.opm.db file needs to be deleted in order to process further. WIN 7 and 8 (64 bit):
Rename OOBE to OOBE_old located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe
Relaunch the Browser
Go to https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud
Sign in with Adobe ID and password and download CC desktop app.

In case the issue is still not resolved , you can contact Adobe Support.

Reload Applications Please help
I took my wife's Ipad to Haiti to give to a mission. She had a neigbor "wipe the computer" Now I am down here and with the Ipad turned on the only thing I see is an Icon for I tunes and an image of a USb CABLE.
I HAVE 2 questions:
1. How do I get the basic applications back?
2. If I want to order more applications from the Itunes store How do I use my credit card but not leave it open for more charges.

BobYou need to sync it to iTunes. You need to connect it to a computer with iTunes on it, you could try a local Apple store if there is a store in your area.

Download error when opening/reloading applications
I have been successfully using the creative cloud for several months but tonight when I try open my applications, there are question marks where the app icons once were and when I click on the creative cloud icon at the top of my screen, it says "Dowload Error. Plress Retry to try again or contact customer support. My account is paid and my internet is working fine. Please advise.

Memory leak on SunOne Web Server 6.1 on application reload
Hi!
I am pretty sure that i have found a memory management problem in
SunOne Web Server 6.1 .
It started with an OutOfMemory error we got under heavy load . After
some profiling with Jprofiler i didn't find any memory leaks in the
application.Even under heavy load (generated by myself) i can't find
anything ,more, i can't reproduce the error! The memory usage is
about 20Mb and does not go up .
However it is pretty simple to see the following behavior:
[1] Restart the server (to have a clear picture) and wait a little for
memory usage to stabilize.
[2] In the application dir. touch .reload or one of the classes:
The memory usage goes up by another 50Mb (huge amount of mem. taking
into account the fact that it used only 20Mb under any load befor).
Do this another time and another 20Mb gone etc..
The JProfiler marks the memory used by classes . And it can be
clearly seen the GC can't release most of it.
I AM sure this is not the application that takes all the memory.
Another hint : after making the server to reload application i can see
that the number of threads ON EVERY RELOAD is going up by ~10-20
threads .The # of threads goes lower over time but not the mem usage.
My system:
Sparc Solaris 9 ,Java 1.4.2_04-b05, Sun ONE Web Server 6.1SP5
Evgenymy guess is that - because of '.reload' , web container tries to
recompile all the classes that you use within your web application and
hence the memory growth is spiking up.What do you mean by "tries to recompile"?The classes in
Web-inf are already compiled! And i have only ~5 jsp's .
(the most part of the applic. is a complicated business logic)
If you are talking about reloading them ,yes,that's the purpose of .reload,
isn't it? :).But it seems that container uses the memory for it's own
classes: the usage of memory for my classes don't really grow
that much (if at all) after reload (according to profiler)
Also the real problem is that the memory usage grows to much for
too long (neither seen it going down) and thus ends with OutOfMemory.
if you are seeing the memory growth to be flat in stress environment,
then I am not sure that why do you think that there is a memory leak ?There is no memory leak in stress environment.
There is memory leak while reloading the application.
It is a memory hog for sure (~20-30Mb for every reload).
Memory leak?It seems that way because i can't see memory usage go
down and after a lot of reloads OutOfMemory is thrown.
also, what is jvm heap that you use ? did you try jvm tune options like -
XX:+AggressiveHeap ?256Mb.I can set it bigger ,but how do i know that it will not just delay
the problem ?

Hi,
I agree it is a much needed feature. Suppose I just change an init
param of one application in the web.xml, I don't want to take down the
15 other webapps running on my server just to be able to have that web
app restart and re-read is configuration. Of course, I could program
some servlet that allows changing application attributes and to enable
restarting, but really this a)does not cover all the cases (i.e. addind
an EBJ reference binding to web.xml) b) should be provided by the app
server, not programmed by every little programmer again & again.
