"Reload" disappeared from "View" dropdown- asking again

Can't find my already-asked question posted on forum so I'm asking again: "Reload" option has disappeared from "View" drop-down in navbar. I have tried all of the following, as suggested by a contributor:
Restarting with Add-Ons Disabled
Restarting with "Reset" option
Disabling hardware acceleration
Completing entire troubleshooting protocol for add-ons & extensions
Nothing has restored the "Reload" option. The Add-Ons Manager tells me there are no extensions installed, so there's nothing I can follow to troubleshoot there.
What else can I do? If nothing, I'm switching to Safari for default browser. Don't want to as I've liked Firefox, but I use "Reload" a LOT and this situation is not sustainable for me.

If your talking about the reload button that Refreshes the page your on you can do one of two options

My library keeps disappearing from view when I open itunes

I recently bought a laptop and have transferred all my music from my old PC computer to my laptop. I have noticed that when I open itunes from time to time my library has disappeared from view. It's annoying as I have to keep bringing my library back in from my music folder, importing my playlists and then the podcasts have to be resubscribed. It also means I keep losing my play counts and history. It has happened about 4-5 times now. Then when I restore the library and I link my classic ipod to sync all the content has to be reloaded, which all takes time. Is there something silly that I have not done. I have been searching to see where I am going wrong and now about to lose the plot alltogether! My laptop is using Windows Vista, my PC was Windows XP. Any help much appreciated. I'm sure it's something simple!

Clicking links in emails in Thunderbird, Firefox disappears from view

When clicking links in emails in Thunderbird Firefox disappears from view along with its task bar button. Firefox is still open and works, if you know what you are clicking on and prevents other still visible windows being worked with as the mouse only "sees" the Firefox window invisible to human eye!

The irony that you sent me an email to confirm my post...by clicking a link... is not lost on me.

What is your iTunes version?
If iTunes 11, have you checked the "Up Next" list? If it is not empty, try if clearing "UP Next" will help:

How to open Viewer from other apps? - App 'URL Scheme' has disappeared from Viewer Builder!

The 'URL Scheme' option in the Viewer Builder did let me to specify a url that made other apps open my viewer. But this option has disappeared from the newer version of Viewer Builder. So. How do I do now to let other apps open my viewer?

Is there a spacial reason that the URL scheme option was taken away from ordinary Multi-issue viewers? It was there in earlier version. I'll explain our situation:
Our client want to publish corporate information; annual reports etc, with DPS. Not really magazines or newspapers you subscribe to.
We are making another app where they publish news articles, videos etc. In that app, we want to have a link which opens the viewer with their publications.
To make this simple thing work, we have to create a 'subscription' to content which is not relly good for subscribing (it is free and announced with push anyway). We also have to tell the client to create Privacy Policys etc for this. A lot of hassle for something we do not really want.
Any chance that this option will come back in v19?

HP Deskjet 3840 disappeared from my dropdown list.

After installing the upgrade to Snow Leopard, My HP printer just disappeared as a selection from my dropdown list of printers, and I don't know how to get it back! Do I have to buy a new printer?

Try downloading the drivers from hp and installing them. HP only recently released drivers for this printer…

Airport Express won't join network and disappears from view once configured

Hi. I am having trouble getting my brand new Airport Express to connect to my network. I would appreciate any help you can provide. Here are the details:
Computer: iMac, G5 running OS X Tiger.
Network: Cable modem hooked to a netgear wireless b/g router. The router is configured to use WEP 128 bit encryption. I have connectivity on the router throughout the house on several computers and handheld devices (iPhone, etc).
Airport Express Version: 5.3.1
My goal is to add the AE to my current network in order to stream music from iTunes to my receiver.
When I initially opened up the airtunes utility to set up the AE the setup program was able to find the AE and walk through the configuration process. I followed the steps, entered the correct network name, encryption algorithm, password, etc. When I completed setup and hit the update AE button the AE disappeared from the setup application and the device began to flash yellow. While troubleshooting I have reset the AE dozens of times over the past couple of days. I have done both the reset with power on (press reset for 10 seconds waiting for the quickflash) and the hard reset (plugging the AE in with the reset button depressed until the quickflash starts). In either case, the AE is rarely detected by the setup utility (about 1 in 10 times). When it is detected, I walk through the set up and get the same results. I have attempted configuration using both the manual configuration option and the automatic "wizard-like" method.
I have tried to configure the AE wirelessly with it plugged in next to the computer and using a direct hookup via ethernet cable. Both methods produce the same results - flashing yellow light with AE undetectable by any Airport applications.
I have also tried to load an older version of the firmware (5.3) on the AE. When I hit the update AE button after configuring the update to go from the current version to version 5.3 I get an error message stating that "an error occured while attempting to update."

I think I'm having the same problem as you all, and its driving me crazzzzy!. I added an AX to my existing network with a AEX all thru gigabyte switch, including the new AX. I set the brand new AX up with all the settings, hit update, all settings were configured and its working fine (i can see it in iTunes, stream music to it, all works fine) EXCEPT when i go to AU and try to go into the manual setting of the AX it just hangs, and after about 2 min, i get an error message:
"An error occurred while reading the configuration. Please make sure your Apple wireless device is plugged in and in range of your computer or connected via Ethernet and try again. (-6722)"
I have tried resetting it hard/soft/default but not sure if it really does reset it, still keeps same password, and network settings. Tried connecting it next to my existing AEX incase the AX is trying to communicate via WIFI instead of the hard wired ethernet. I'll try hard wiring it directly to my mac as some have had success.
I have tried using OX 10.5.3, but still misbehaves as b4 with OSX.4.11. So its not my mac setup.
I'll try to find the old firmwares as some have described, that might work....????
This seems a common problem to many, I hope that Steve & the Apple engineers have got these messages and are fixing the problem as we speak.

All emails in yahoo somehow disappeared from view. Unaware, I made some change.

My yahoo email was normal until the left vertical page bar came into view. I moved it all the way to left hiding inbox outbox, Trash etc.
Trying to correct this, I inadvertently clicked something unknown
that hid all my emails from view. The emails are still there, I just can't figure out what to do to bring them back visibly to my email page. Computer shows that I made a change, but doesn't tell me what change I made.

Most likely the now missing mail files were not in the PCV archive in the first place (for whatever reason).
I do not use MozBackup, but I believe a user can (or has to) choose what items are to be included in the backup.

User entered data disappears from view in fields after entry in Reader 9

This is a repost. The form was recreated and same problem (see below) has occurred. The person who has created these forms is a basic user, and so is not changing any settings or doing any programming, just adding fill-in fields (text boxes) and check boxes, then distributing by email through Acrobat. The problem also occurs with other forms. I cannot find any information on this problem anywhere. Any new ideas? File is attached.
A simple form with basic text boxes is created in LiveCycle ES and distributed with Acrobat Pro 9. All users have been upgraded to Acrobat Reader 9. But when the user fills in the form in Reader, the text disappears when they tab or enter into the next field. Check boxes are fine. The user also does not see the data when printing. But, after submission, the data can be seen and printed from Acrobat Pro 9 by the original sender.

This form image was created using a Toshiba MFP and had form fields added with Acrobat. There appears to be a font problem. I saved the form in Acrobat Pro Extended 9. When I opened the form in Reader 9 I was asked to install Japanese fonts since the form uses the KozMinPrN6-Regular font.
After dismissing the install request, the form fields behaved predictibly in Reader 9 (with the exception of requesting 10MB of Japanese fonts).

I have a Macbook Pro (2009) and the tool bar in Safari keeps disappearing. There's a small diagonal arrow on the upper right that I can click and the bar will appear temporarily, but then it disappears from view. "Hide Toolbar" is greyed out in VIEW

My 2009 Macbook Pro's Safari doesn't show the tool bar anymore. I can click on a diagonal arrow in the upper right corner that appears when I put my cursor there and the tool bar will show, but then it disappears again. Also, when I get an email and click on an internet link the Safari doesn't open full page like it used to - it opens as a small little box and I have to click the diagonal arrow in upper right corner for it to open full screen. Any ideas how to correct this - it is so annoying. Thanks for any help!

The "restore disk" is built into the Mac. See About Recovery.
Need more specifics about what error messages you got while installing Adobe Flash.
However, you can almost avoid Flash altogether by setting YouTube to play the HTML5 version instead.
Click the Try something new! link at the bottom of the YouTube page.
I don't know about the sound issue. Might be hardware as you think. Try other headphones to check.

Folio has disappeared from Viewer

I'm producing a mag using the latest production tools (previously I was using Drop 10)
Basically, my folio hasn't updated (although it's updated fine through InDesign's Folio Builder) - the updates have not transferred to the Adobe Viewer app even though I'm logged in correctly in Safari / Indesign / Adobe Viewer...
I thought it may have been a problem with the viewer, so I deleted the app and re-installed it - hoping that would cure any hiccups.
Except the folio has disappeared now... (even though I can see the bloody thing perfectly well in the Folio Organizer through Safari...)
Any tips?

If you used the newest tools, they are not compatible with the viewer version on iTunes. Unfortunately Apple drags their feet when it comes to approving the viewers.

Audio Disappears from Viewer

Three years running this program here's a new one:
Clip in the Viewer. Moving back and forth in the clip (I use long clips and set In and Out points as needed) with audio playing fine. Drop edits into Timeline, all fine
"Suddenly" I lose the audio in the Viewer. Drop the clip into the Timeline, audio is fine. If I shut down and relaunch FCE, all good again. This has happened twice now in twelve hours
Perhaps my big fingers have hit something but I can't figure what. When I click on Audio in the Viewer, the levels are set correctly, but when I play the clip there, no audio in the speakers, no audio in the Level Meters. Yet, if I drop it into the Timeline, all is good. I don't seem to see anything in the Modify menu that is set incorrectly.
Audio all matches in Sequence, Project etc. As I said, never had this prob before.
PS .. .this is all happening on the G5.

Tab bar has disappeared from view and from list of toolbars. How can I get it back?

I was fooling around with the toolbar options, trying (unsuccessfully!) to return to the toolbar layout I had before Firefox was automatically upgraded (without my permission!). I was trying to move the tabs bar down below the other toolbars. Suddenly it disappeared. Various web-suggested fixes involved going into Preferences or Options and doing things. I can't find anything called Preferences, and the option suggested for tabs (show tab bar) in Options doesn't exist in my options. I am very unhappy, not just because I can't find the tab bar, but because the new version messed up how I had my toolbars organized, and there seems to be no option for fixing it.

What method did you use to move the Tab bar?
Did you create a userChrome.css file in the chrome folder in the Firefox profile folder?
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

My iTunes songs have disappeared from view. The playlists show the number of songs in each, just not the songs. Nothing shows up under the "Songs" tab. I'm using the latest version of everything on Windows 7 Enterprise

I was creating and burning playlists when this happened. I have know idea what occured.

My cursor display (arrow) on my Mac disappears from view on Firefox only. Safari and all other software reveals the arrow, it's just missing from Firefox. Help! This is my access of choice!

I had several things open on my laptop: Firefox, Safari (it opens automatically when I click a link in an e-mail), Mail. I was bouncing among all these places when I realized my cursor (arrow) wasn't showing up ... but only when I was in Firefox. I have set up all my usual accounts (facebook, Google+, Flickr, LinkedIn, etc.) using Pin Tabs, but I've had that for a few months.
I don't know if this is a Mac issue or a Firefox issue--I'm thinking the latter because the problem occurs only when I'm using Firefox.

I should note that while it is Ff 8.0.1 I use, I'm on OS X 10.7 / Lion, not 10.6 as noted above. More precisely, I use 10.7.2 but am not clear if the problem only appeared with the .2 update.
