Hi experts,
1.Can the custom specific fields be included in archiivng or not.
2. Whether the standard reload program is needed for all objects.
3. Once the data is archived , Is it possible to reload the data back into the tables without using the reload program.
4. I want to run my archiving process every month using a particular object in batch mode.
In that case How do I assign the required archive flag automatically.

Yes, if the custom field is included in the table that can be archived with Custom Archiving object. If this custom field is added to the standard table then check archiving object & archive with it.
2. Whether the standard reload program is needed for all objects.
In most cases client will not go for reloading option for all the archived data, it might required for Master data or Financial documents and in ECC system SAP has removed options of reload. Most of my case reloading option has not loaded the data back into all tables so with this my suggestion is try to convenience client at the initial phase for not going for reload options.
3. Once the data is archived , Is it possible to reload the data back into the tables without using the reload program.
No, it is not possible to reload the data back into the system without using reloading program.
4. I want to run my archiving process every month using a particular object in batch mode.
Yes, you can do this by creating Dynamic variant and scheduling it every month.
If the archiving object requires deletion flag to be set as a pre-requisites then you can create a custom program to set this or if that archiving object has program to set the deletion flag then use it. This as to be done every month before variant schedule date and time.

How to execute a reload program in SARA (adk's)

hi folks,
i have created a buisness object in T-code AOBJ. i have assigned write, delete and reload program to it. when i open t-code SARA and give my buisness object there i am able to see write and delete option there. i can execute my write and delete programs from SARA. how can i execute my reload program. ?? are reload program not executed by t-code SARA??? replies will be appreciated.

Hi Sudhir,
Try this: In SARA, Choose menu Goto ->Reload.
By the way, just a word of caution, it is not recommended to reload archived data as it may cause inconsistencies. so please use it with care.
If your requirement is just to read the archive data, please make use of read programs based on ADK / Archive information system.

Safari reload program 7.0 how?

Safari suddenly freezes with an attempt to reload a previous web page by sliding the page sideways with two fingers. I have to quit and restart Safari. There must be a glitch in the program. This only occurs on my desktop, not my other Macs. How can I trash the current program and download another copy?

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
Step 1
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account.
Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your personal files or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
Step 2
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. Note: If FileVault is enabled on some models, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of steps 1 and 2.

Cannot reload programs

Replaced HD and reloaded Tiger. All seemed well until I tried to re-load programs from Disks. I receive the following message after inserting disk, "Insert disk or connect to Server Volume and wait for it to appear on the desk top then try again". Ran disk repair and all is well. Also external Hard Drive lost all of Iphoto and Kodak Easy Share pictures. What server are they talking about?

You may get a new install CD (I recommend Windows 8, if not 7) or if you have an old XP install CD, you can get XP back to your laptop but it'll not be supported soon. If you have saved a backup, you can try restoring it to last backup.

WHat does "can't access" actually mean? How are you trying? Where does it fail? Remember we can't see your machine so you need to give us information to work with.

Reloading Program

Hello.
I know this is technically a question to post in the Soundtrack Forum, but I have been having trouble getting any reply there. I think those of you are are familiar with the FC Studio will be able to help.
I have been having problems with STP: stalling, closing unexpectedly, extremely long waits for processing etc... The advice I was given was to delete and reload the program. Looking through my Final Cut Studio 2 software, there is no CD specifically for STP. There is: FCS Install, DVD Studio Pro, Live Type Media 1&2, Motion and Audio Content 1,2&3 (that is all that came in the packaging). What CD should I use to reload STP or must I completely reload the entire studio (wouldn't that interfere with the files and info. I have saved in my FCP files?)
How do I reload while not disturbing the other programs and save information part of the studio suite?

Restore, Refresh, reload Win 8.1 after hardrive in multiple similar Thinkpads

This is the deal...
Had a Thinkpad T-61 with partitioned Disk 0 into logical disks C: (System other stuff - no hidden partition), D: (disk images, data back up), E: reload programs and drivers. (WD SATA 320GB, 8 GB new RAM)
System was drowned in unknown "goo" and was essentially DOA - no power, no battery indicators.
Harddrive was swapped into my T-61p, and after doing a system enumeration, harddive proved to be uncorrupted (whew) - at least 12 hrs of config not blown, and data saved.
New T-61 base purchased (virtually identical to old one), LCD screen swapped, and after putting original harddrive, went through new enumeration as , of course, machine now "looked different" and did the Activation dance for both Win 8.1 and Office
2013.
The problem - looking in the registry it looks like I have 3 different "hardware profiles". However, "hardware profiles" with ditched starting with Vista. What I find is the wireless card is now Card #2 (not 3 as mine was
an Intel BGN, not a BG), Wireless devices at now Wi-Fi 3 (not Wi-Fi) as is appears machine thinks there are 3 different hardware profiles, although only one is real. Looking at the Registry, it is clear there are multiple entries, I assume each time
the harddrive was inserted for test purposes, and finally in the repaired machine with new mobo, etc.
Question - can these now "bogus" profiles be deleted or overwritten somehow to make this into a "clean machine". In XP, this would have been easy - get rid of the "obsolete" hardware profiles. In 8.1 can one
do this with a Restore, Refresh or, worst option (and I have done this) Reinstall 8.1 and everything else on the C: partition. (Good thing - this is someone else Thinkpad with Office 2013, and maybe 10 other programs including utils, AV, and all
data backed up; it's not mine, a T-61p used intensively as a development machine for Oracle, SQL-Server, MySQL, etc.)
Fortunately, the Thinkpads seem to be indestructible (T-61), and not like the old company Toshiba's that they had a stack of 15 in various stages of rebuilds/repairs for which I burned a series compatible XP disk image that just required a data reload.

System refresh would reserve user profile, it would be better to make system refresh to remove everything also contains User profile and settings, it equals to reinstall system.
Since your person data already backed up, it would be better to make a system reset to clear these old profiles.

SAP R/3 Archiving Restore Program

Our company has a need to archive certain objects. We are using version 4.6C. It is our understanding that SAP does not provide a restore program for all objects. Below is a list of the objects that will be archived. Only 3 of the 22 objects have a restore program that we are aware of.
Does SAP have other programs that could be used in the event that we need to restore deleted records to these objects or is there another solutions that could be implemented in the event that we remove records my mistake.

How to reload archived data into SAP database for object FI_DOCUMNT

Hi..could any one plz let me know how can i reload the archived data which is on third party storage into sap database back. The archived data is related to FI_DOCUMNT. We don't have the Reload program for this object. The requirement is : Some of the FI documents are archived before being cleared. So, we want to reload the archived data back to SAP database and then do some modifications.
Please tell me how this is possible..thanks a lot in advance.

Thanks Mylene. I've already gone through the same note..i was just looking out for the new standard program or any one have created any new program for the same. I think it's better we must wait for SAP to launch its reload program or else it's not possible to reload the archived data for this object.

The information u provided looks good. However, as you know SAP has removed the Reload option for the archiving object FI_DOCUMNT in the last year. When i'm following ur steps, it's again taking me to the SARA transaction where i don't find the button for Reloading the archived data. The issue is like we have archived some of the posting documents or FI documents but during archiving, the complete flow was not followed and now we are required to archive the missing documents. In short, we have archived the FI documents whose clearing date was not even set or we have missed some of the documents. So we need to reload all the FI documents and then archive all the reloaded data with proper FI flow.
Or do we have any custom program which will reload the archived data from the archive files??
Would this really helpful for us if you show some inputs on this.

Reload JPanel

I have 2 class files. One contains a JPanel that uses JTabbedPane to add a tab for each of my categories. Then in my other class file, I add the JPanel to my JFrame. So now I have some JMenuItems, the JTabbedPane (from the other class file) and some other JLabels etc...
My question is, if I add a new Category, obvisouly I won't see the new tab until I close out, and reload program. I was wondering what is the best way to solve this problem? I don't believe there are myPanel.reload() or myPanel.refresh() methods. Any ideas?
