    I had the same issue. I tried everything unchecking / rechecking, formatting Iphone and restoring from backup etc etc.
    In the end it was a simple issue which might of might not help you.
    A number of months ago I relocated by Itunes folder to a NAS drive. It appears when I did the last I tunes update Itunes set the destination path of the Itunes media to the default location, the result was Itunes couldn't install music,apps, video until I set the correct destination path.
    The bit that confused me was it was transferring some media. This was of course the media I had downloaded since the last Itunes update which had gone to the default location.
    I hope that makes sense and is off some help.

  • Itunes match and store aren't working

    I can't seem to access anything on my iTunes account. First of all, iTunes Match quit working and nothing would work in iCloud. So I turned it off. When I tried to turn it back on, it would just get stuck on "Accessing iTunes Store..." and nothing would happen. I've tried to sign out and back in, same problem. I've read almost every troubleshoot discussion board and nothing has been working for me. I can't even delete iTunes and redownload because it says it's a requirement for Mac.
    Does ANYBODY out there know what I'm talking about and KNOW how to fix the issues?? I have a MacBook Pro and a iMac. It works completely fine on my iPhone 5s. HELP!

  • Itunes and App Store will not work.

    I recently got my version 10.6.4 Macbook Pro repaired. When I got my Macbook Pro back, I needed to reinstall the applications using the disk which originally came with the purchase of my Macbook Pro.
    After doing this though, all of the applications worked, however iTunes and the App Store do not.
    The App store application had a question mark over the icon and when I clicked on it, nothing happened.
    iTunes has a signal over the icon and when I press on it to open a message pops us saying - "You have Mac OS X 10.6.4. The application requires Mac OS X 10.6.8 or later."
    Please can you help with these issues?

    Click your apple >> software updates.  Keep doing updates until there are none left.  That should take you back to 10.6.8.
    If software updates isn't working, you can download and install this:  http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1399

    I have an account with both the apple site (for here) and for the itunes music store (and i have a current credit card on my account). when I upgraded to itunes 7, it says i do not have an account now....even tho it says to use your apple login (which i've always used to download things from itunes music store), it comes back and says i have no account....
    why is this happening? is this a bug? if you have to recreate the account, shouldn't they have said something oremailed something to tell me that/????

    login to apple's myinfo page and see what your actual Apple ID is. You have to enter whatever your Apple ID is into iTunes when you try to sign in.

    If you can't login to myinfo, then you've got an account ID or password issue. (in which case use iforgot http://iforgot.apple.com )

    hi guys basically i updated to iOS7 on both iPhone and iPad and now i am unable to sign into either iTunes nor the App Store. i have changed my password three times and still nothing. I know i have the right password because i signed into my apple account via internet.

    First, try the new password.  If you didn't sign out of iCloud prior to changing the primary email address of your Apple ID, this is what can cause this problem.

  • My iTunes and App store aren't working.

    It lets me stay in the store's, but it will not show or search anything. I used it four hours ago and bought some songs and it was working fine. Both stores on my iPad are also working fine. I just updated both my phone and my iPad and was not having any issues until now. My phone is also brand new so there should not be anything wrong with it.

    For othe other problems try:
    Try:

    - Reset all settings
    Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
    All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup
    - Restore to factory settings/new iPod.

  • My CD/DVD drives quit working and I had to change Registry settings to get them to work again. Now Itunes gives me a message at startup that I need to reload iTunes.

    Both of the CD/DVD drives on my desktop computer quit working. I'm concerned that if I reload iTunes that my drives will quit working again though I don't know why they quit working in the first place. Is there a known problem or incompatability with some drives and iTunes. What is it about the registry settings that iTunes requires my CD/DVD drives settings to work or not to work? I haven't updated my iTunes software since changing the registry setting to fix my drives.

    I've read some of the support articles about reinstalling the iTunes upper filters in the registry but I don't like the idea that iTunes seems to be saying that they are the ones that will be in control of what CD burning software that I am allowed to use on my computer. If I put the iTunes upper filters back on the computer will I not be able to use other CD burning software again? If I reload iTunes will it interfere with the use of the other software, or, if I use the other software again will I have to go back and reload iTunes or reset my registry every time. This seems to me to be a problem that iTunes should fix so that they don't interfere with other computer operations.

    Not sure what you mean by "not working" so without further information it's difficult to make a suggestion. As a shot in the dark.....
    Sign out of your ID in Settings>iTunes & App Store, restart the iPad and sign in again.
    Or ....You can try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your app preferences and device settings again.

    Visit the local Apple store in the mall and they ran diagnostics on it. They told me the phone has no hardware problems.
    Still the issue is not resolved.
    Please help it has been more than 2 weeks that I have this problem and it seems no one is helping.

    My iPhone 5 wouldn't start after I turned it off a few minutes after writing this. It went into recovery mode and I had no choice but to connect to iTunes on PC and restore.
    I restored to factory setting first, just to validate my phone was okay. For a second consecutive iOS update, the  iPhone 5 did not update smoothly while connected to PC and iTunes - I had to retry two times before the progress bar for the update showed. (The exact same problem with the restart occured when I updated to 7.0.4.)
    The good news is that I was ultimately able to restore the iPhone 5 to factory settings while running iOS 7.0.6. I did have a backup from about a month ago lying around and was able to successfully restore with that as well, so the damage done is almost negligible since I had my contacts, notes, mail, etc. backed up to iCloud.
    Once I completed both restores, the sync with iTunes worked fine.

(Ipod Nano 4th gen  and Ipod Nano 6th gen), but on my Windows 7 PC, they work fine.  My Ipod 3rd gen and Ipod shuffle work both on Windows 8 and 7 PC's.  On the non-working Ipods, the  Device sync test says "No device found".     I changed my Apple ID to my new email and now cannot find any way to access icloud. Unfortunately I had allowed icloud to hijack my airbook files, so of course I am afraid I will lose them tomorrow when I exchange my iphone for a new one and cannot keep an icloud account i cannot access. What a poor sync system! Really atypical for apple!

    I searched this site for ios 7 and itunes store and found numerous others with the same problem, and several suggested solutions. One said that they had blocked all cookies and that was apparently the problem. I had done the same thing - blocked all cookies. So I set cookies back to "third parties and advertisers" and that solved the problem. Now the itunes store is working.
