Relocating masters and using photoshop/bridge

Question

I love using aperture(2) for minor adjustments and photo organization but I also use photoshop for serious adjustments. What is the best way to use aperture alongside photoshop? Right now I use bridge to import photos because I can change the filenames as I'm importing. Is there a way to point my aperture library to where I'm importing my bridge imports? Bottom line I want to have my aperture library in sync with what I'm importing with bridge and not have duplicate files.
anyone know a more efficient way of doing things?

There are some things you can do with Bridge that you can't do with Aperture like loading a group of images into a stack, creating a panoramic and opening an image as a smart object, but otherwise it's really just another way of doing RAW conversion. The only time I use Bridge is when I want to do some of the things as above that I can't do round tripping to PS from Aperture.
BTW: you can rename files on import to Aperture.
If you want both apps to see the files, simply import with Aperture set to store files in the current location. Both apps are non-desructive so they won't even know that another app is referencing the same file. However, once you send an image to photoshop from bridge and save it, Aperture will not know the new photoshop file is there unless you import it. But, if you send a file from Aperture to photoshop, bridge will see the new photoshop file.
IMHO: the best way is to send the file from Aperture to photoshop and save bridge for when you need to do something like the examples above that Aperture can't tell photoshop to do. I leave Bridge out of the equation in all other cases.
