REM pull list storage location

hai gurus,
i have one issue in rem pull list storage location.
1) Fert = product A and ROH = product B
2) storage location in MRP 2 view for fert = 1000 and ROH production storage location is 1000 and external
storage location is 2000.
3) after procuring ROH from outside and doing MIGO the material is in 2000 storage location .
4) While doing MF60 i had given rep storage location as 2000, but when viewed the stock status under
MMBE the stock is lying only in 2000 storage location area ,it is not posted to 1000 area.
How to do the posting , as when i done MF60 i got the msg as - posting made sucessfully.

So over all requirement is stage the material against planned order no with respect to header material

since u want to stage against Particular Planned order, do the following settings.
Global setting -> deselect "Include all requirements" under missing part cal tab,
Now access the planning table with Planned order No , system will show missing part list against planned order only.

In the component overview for a given operation, when assigning a component : further on the right, there is a storage location field.

BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE - Error Storage location not supported...

Dear All
I am creating the material movement documetn 561 (MB1C) using BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE.
Howeever, the BAPI returns me the error saying
Storage location not supported.
What is this about. Can someone give me hint

Hi Venky,
Are you creating a goods issue with reference to a reservation? If so, the documentation states that the storage location is only needed if it's not in the reservation.
The following fields may have to be populated in some cases (this is not a complete list):
Storage location (if not planned in the reservation)

Please see that following is set\
1. Configuration settings in OSPX
1.1 set - Plant to SDG
1.2 Create Stock det rule
1.3 For above created stock det ruleplantSDG set the following
1.4 sorting/qty distribution proposal/other setting-Stock detr online\
1.5 set the storage loc with different stock type and priority
2. assign SDR to material in plant/storage view 2
3 see that you have maintained the materioal in all the storage loc where you have entered the storage loc in step 1.5
4. maintain safficiet stock in storge loc
5 Now create a production order and release it.
6. In mf60 see that that material is selected and click on create replanishment
7. select the item from table down and click on batch/stock determination
follow the steps and come back if any issue.

Pull list in REM

please suggest me what to do bit confused after going through the threads.
My scenario is like this:-
I HAVE TO TRANSFER OR ISSUE THE GOODS FOR PRODUCTION FROM THERE RESPECTIVE STORAGE LOC
I am working on REM make to stock scenario.
There is one FG and two SFG all together I am getting three planned order to execute on three different Production line (WC)
There are some SFG (halb) which is produced in one production line and used in another production line.
I am able to transfer the Raw material from main storage loc to Shop floor storage loc through PULL LIST and PICK LIST.
My problem starts when I try to transfer the SFG (halb) material to the other production line for production through PULL LIST.Here the issue storage loc and replenishment storage loc becomes same and system does not allow to proceed if the storage loc is same
I have three storage loc 1. A - for main store (RAW MATERIAL) 2. B - Shop floor storage loc (for production )3. C - for FG
My question is whether I am doing the right thing using PULL LIST and PICK LIST in this scenario.
if yes than how to do SFG transfer through PULL LIST and PICK LIST.
Is there any other way do the transfer I mean by MB1B manually.
Please revert back for more information

1.If my understanding is correct then pull list - MF60 is used to stage the materials as per the planned order quantity or as per
the BOM explosion(for the production quantity).
2.The system displays the required and the missing quantity for staging the components from one storage location to
production storage location.
3.If the main(issuing) and the production storage location is the same means then why do you expect to do a material staging
for the components?
check and revert back.

I cant display the pull list of a material.

Dear Omar,
1.Pull List can be made use for Reserving materials in REM.
2.It can be with respect to the Planned orders or With respect to BOM Explosion.(Also for Production/Process Orders option is
available).
3.Enter the plant,Staging Types - Storage Location Level,remove the date from selection period for requirements,then Under Global
Settings,Remove the tick mark against Include all requirements and rest other options tick mark should be there,enter the planned
order and then execute.
4.Then after executing,click on replishment Elements,then select the row from the total requirements for which a reservation has to be
created and click on Create Replenish.Proposals.,then in the bottom portion of the screen,you will be able to see the Replenishment
Elements and then select this row and stage.
5.The system creates a reservation for the elements for 311 movement.The reservation no can be obtained in MB25.
6.Transfer for this materials can be confirmed in T code MF65.
I hope now you will be able to make use of Pull List.

How to pull inventory from a specific storage location

I wonder how can i determine which storage location should we pull the stock from ... We have a plant, warehouse and a storage lcoation (XX01) and now i need to create another storgae location (XX02) for the same plant warehouse... now when i create the order system pulls the componenets from same old storage location (XX01)... even though i have inventory in the new storage location ....can somebody guide me how to pull from new storage location. In addition to helpful hints from other experts, I would like to discuss on other three aspects:
1. MRP Run: This new storage loc is normally operated by production staff before issuing to production orders. Therefore, some planners do not want to include this stock in the MRP Run. You can do so by exclude the storage location from MRP (via configuration or material master - set to 1 - Storage location stock Excluded in MRP). Alternatively, you can plan your replenishment via MRP run by setting with reorder point concept. You can maintain reorder point and replenishment qty in MRP4 if you create at plant/stor.loc. level and set Sloc MRP indicator to 2 (Stor.stock planned separately). Then when you run MRP, if stor.loc.stock falls below reorder point, reservration to transfer (311 movement type) is created. This can be an alternative to the nex point I would like to mention.
2. Replenishment: If you want the production staff to plan replenishment themselves, you can use pull list (MF60). With the certain setting in the MF60 variant screen, you can create the transfer from store to prod.sloc. or create manual reservation. Pull list can combine requirements from many production orders, calculate net req. (prod.order reservation - current stock), and perform the replenishment for you.
3. ATP: Your ATP for component can be set to check the stock at the plant level instead of sloc.level by configuration. You cannot exclude some of sloc. if you check at plant level though.
In terms of material master setup, besides Prod.Sloc.Location in MRP2, you can maintain the stock determination group. Then, you can add more rules like first from consignment then own stock of sloc. A, then B, then C, for examples.

Storage location list during Confirmation

Hi! I discovered during confirmation of the goods in SRM (SRM 4, extended classic) that when I choose to list the storage location for selection, although only the relevant storage locations are listed, there are gaps in between the storage locations. I suspect that it is taking the sequence of the order in the user attributes.
For example, if I maintain the attributes in the following fashion:
Plant   SLoc
0001   0010
0001   0020
0002   0010
0002   0020
0002   0030
On saving the attributes, it will be sorted and shown like this:
Plant   SLoc
0001   0010
0002   0010
0001   0020
0002   0020
0002   0030
If my order is for plant 0002, on listing the SLoc for the item during confirmation, I get the sloc listed like this

<blank>
0020
0030
What I would like to achieve is for the system to show the storage location valid for the plant and as per maintained in the attributes
0010
0020
0030
Does anyone have similar problem as described? What should be the standard behavior?

If you are using the standard tcode/print program then u have to modify the program. after fetching all the item data of the delivery, sort the internal table with storage location and at every new storage location trigger the function module for calling the SAP Script or Smartform. By doing this every new storage location new form gets triggered.

Yes, it is possible to see the Purchase Order list for particular Storage Location of particular Plant as follows.
Using T-code ME2N - Purchasing Documents per Document Number, the input data to be given as follows.
Plant : _______
Scope of List : ALV
Document Date : __________ to __________ (report require period)
If the report input data Storage Location require, you have to select Dynamic Selection button(Red,Green,Blue color button) and shown 2 options are as follows.
1) Purchasing Document Header
2) Purchasing Document Item
The above option, you have to click Purchasing Document Item shown Storage Location field double click and give input data Storage Location ______ (list of PO require Storage Location) and execute the report. The particular Plant and the particular Storage Location list of purchase orders displayed.

Active storage locations list

I need to find out what storage locations have been active(for a particular materilal type) since April 2010 irrespective of the plant.
Is there any table I can refer.
I got some suggestions like table MSEG for which movements against storage locations was considered but since a large amount of movements take place daily it has exhaustive data and even background jobs have been cancelled due to this .
Is there any any way to find out the active s.locs.

a storage location is always depending on the plant. The storage location cannot stay alone, as you can see in table T001L and when you do customizing for storage locations, creation and assignment in single step. a storage location 0001 in plant A can be something totally different to storage location 0001 in plant B.
Usage analysis can be done with transaction TAANA, of course you need to have some patience as table MSEG can have millions of records.
use transaction TAANA
click the execute button, enter MSEG as table name
click the button right of field analysis variant.
on next screen click button for ad hoc variant.
select the plant and storage location field and click enter.
now you are back in the analysis variant screen, the ad-hoc variant is selected, just click continue button.
Now you are back on the initial screen. leave the radio button at background processing and schedule the execution.
SAP will count all the used plant storage location combinations and give you a list how often each movement was used.
This report can as well be aggregated at year and month level by using virtual fields for the date field.
transaction MC.6 is a transaction from the information system and here you can get a list with a total of receipts and issues per plant/storage location, that can be used to see which location was used in a certain period.

REM Prod Version: How to hide/disable Storage Location fields

For Issue storage locations, we are maitaining str location in BOM/MRP2 View.
For Receving Str locatiom, we are maitaining str location in MRP2 View.
Similarly, for REM assemblies, system provides str locations fields in Production Version.
Requst to guide on following points:
1. What is the application and priority of Strorage locations in Prod Version (PV)?
2. Can the Str locations in PV be hidden/disabled?
