Remembar me dosen't open when i sign on to my public library. works on others
when i open my bookmark for my library it ask me to enter my acct# and password. the remember me bar do not open. it works on other bookmarks
It is possible that the website uses autocomplete=off to prevent Firefox from saving the name and password. It also doesn't work if the logon form is generated via JavaScript.

After updating my Iphone 4 on iOS7, my microphone stopped working when someone is calling me(or when I call someone). But the mic works with other applications like Skype...

starting yesterday I cannot get the drop down box to open to send gifts to my friends. Fish world told me a few weeks ago it was due to some updates with Facebook, but now that has been fixed and I can't get the game inFB to work. It works with other browsers - Chrome and IE9. Is there something I need to do on my end to fix this? Other facebook games work fine with drop down boxes, it's only fish world.

Just what I said above!
Try resetting the cable modem (usually unplugging for about 30 seconds).
Try defining new DNS servers in your Network preferences. I recommend OpenDNS (208.67.222.222, 208.67.220.220).
Also in Network preferences, I am assuming you are using DHCP so set that in Configure IPv4. In the Advanced settings, for TCP/IP, click Renew DHCP Lease.
If none of this works Network preferences also has an Assist me... button at the bottom. Click it, then click Diagnostics. Or you could click Assistant to help with a complete setup. -
Only a problem in Firefox. Works in IE and Chrome. I went thru support ideas of checking windows permissions (wide open and the user is the owner), starting firefox in safe mode and uninstalled/reinstalled firefox. Same problem. Any file in My Documents gives the same error, so it is not file related. Any directory under My Documents works the same. I can move files to Desktop and then they attach fine.
As mentioned in the original post, the user IS the owner and the permissions are WIDE open for the user. I have also tried to disable the anti-virus - no luck. The problem is ONLY happening in Firefox. Chrome and IE work perfect. There is also no problem in Windows. The user can add/remove/edit files in the directory. Right now the solution seems to be to use Chrome. I'm not excited about that, but at this point, the only option.

How do i stop my Yahoo email from auto signing me into it when i sign into firefox
when i sign into firefox, and if i have new email, my email auto opens when i sign into firefox. i don't have to give my password. in the bottom right part of the page, a box pops up and says i have (so many) new emails, there is a box to click on and my email opens with no call for my password. this way anyone who opens my firefox can read my email. how do i stop my email from auto opening?
Agreed, malware isn't the issue. It seems to be a JavaScript call that sets the focus to the search field once the page finishes loading. If I were using Firefox, I could use a plug-in to stop the call, but I don't know of a plug-in for Safari that would let me do that.

i try to open another tab by using control+t, or by going to fill and pressing new tab, or by clicking the plus sign to add another tab, but none of these work and a new tab won't open.

IAOSS No Script plug-in, webpage opens when FF launched

Sometimes when I open FF, 2 tabs open. And this is not from restoring the last session, because actually I'm not sure how to do that. Anyway, it opens my homepage in one tab, and in the 2nd tab is Inform Action Open Source Software for the No Script add-0n. It opened automatically when I first installed the No Script add-on, and it opens from time to time spontaneously when I first launch FF (from desktop icon). This is the URL from the address field on that page: http://noscript.net/?ver=2.2.9&prev=2.2.8.
How can I stop that page from opening automatically, against my wishes?
I should say that I quite like that add-on, and use it frequently. I expect I will make a donation, if I continue to use it without any problems. You can try changing a setting in NoScript to see if it stops that tab from loading after an update to NoScript (I have never used this myself, since I prefer to at least look at the update page; see '''''NOTE''''' below):

The way you have it set, Image Capture will open whenever it detects photos that have been taken with the iPhone. To prevent it, you can just import the photos you've taken with the iPhone to your computer and then erase them off the phone (you can then sync them back to the phone if you want them), or you can set Image Capture to not open when any camera is connected. That will apply to other digital cameras as well as the iPhone.
