Remember the Treo 600? I can't sync to the computer!!!

I have a 600 which I still believe is the best phone Palm made, but for some reason I don't have the software to download the pics into the computer..does anyone know where to get it from? Thx, Paul

For software downloads, check the support page for your device here (based on the unlocked Treo600):

There you can download the recommended version of Palm Desktop for your device. Using a newer version of Vista may change the recommended version, however. Version 6.2 is recommended for any OS newer than XP.
Also, if this is a newer computer, you need to know if it has a 64-bit OS or not. If you have a 64-bit OS, you cannot sync via cable. The only options for 64-bit sync are Bluetooth and IR. You can see more information regarding 64-bit synchronization in this 'sticky' thread:

You can only sync to one computer at a time.
Before attempting to sync-are you logged in as the same user as the old iTunes, can you select transfer purchases when right click on iPhone icon?

- Transfer other music by using a third-party program like one of those discusssed here:
Copy music
- Connect the Ipd to the computer and make a backup by right clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and select Back Up
- Restore the iPod from that backup
Note that the backup that iTunes makes does not contain synced media like apps and music.

Restart the computer with the Command and S keys held down and run:

You can transfer apps from the ipad. Without syncing: File>Transfer Purchases
Copy everything from the old computer, or your backup copy of your old computer, to the new one.

Are you at the very latest version of iTunes? I believe that is 11.1.5.

Can't sync iPhone after computer upgrade

I just upgraded my notebook hard drive and started everything on the computer - including my iTunes library - over from scratch. Unfortunately, even though this is the same computer I was using before (albeit with a new hard drive, and upgraded to Leopard), the iPhone doesn't seem to be recognizing it as such: I can't sync or play music through iTunes.
Is there any way, short of wiping the iPhone and all of that jazz, to get the phone working with my computer? This is definitely not the sort of user experience I've come to expect from Apple.

If you replaced your hard drive, the iPhone is going to think it's connected to a different computer. So in order to sync, it will need to erase the content from your iPhone and re-sync it. If you set up all of your iTunes info (and the other info you normally sync to the iPhone), all you will need to do is sync the information back to your iPhone from the computer.

The camera roll is not part of the sync process at all.
You should be importing these photos to your computer regularly as you would with any digital camera. Youc an organize them on your computer and sync the to the iphone if you wish.
The photos sync from the computer to the iphone is one way.
The iphone mirrors the selected content of the computer to which it is synced.

To enable the Menu Bar, you can press Control-B on Windows. To enable to the Sidebar, go to View > Show Sidebar or press Control-S on Windows.

There is no separate Notes app in OS X. If you select to sync notes on the Info pane, they will sync to the Mail app: Mail>Reminders>Notes.

Well I'm not even really syncing my iPhone, I set it to manual so I could pull songs off of my cousins computer because I don't put many songs on mine. There are a number of 3rd pary apps that can do this for you. Some of them include iPodAgent for Windows, yamipod, & copypod which I think is now called copytrans. You can find most of them on versiontracker.com.
Now, I have to give you some advice. Once you have recovered your music, it is CRITICAL that you begin a regular backup program of your music. You can backup by burning data discs, using an external hard drive, or possibly a flash drive depending on the library size. Relying on your iPod as the SOLE BACKUP for your library is a disaster looking for a place to happen. What if iPod is lost or stolen? What if iPod has a problem & needs to be restored which is a very common fix? All of this means your music is history!!! Those of us who post regularly in these forums literally see dozens of posts per week from people in this position, & it is not a happy day for any of us when someone loses their music. PLEASE BACKUP YOUR FILES! I hope this helps & GOOD LUCK!

i don't know if it's the computer or the phone, but when i sync my iphone to my computer it says " the iphone cannot be synced, an unknown error occured (-69)

One thing that might help out.
On your desktop create a new folder.
Call it iphone or something.
Open itunes and connect the iphone.
When the iphone shows up in itunes, go to the photos tab.
Set the iphone to sync photos from a specific folder and choose the new empty folder you created.
Now apply the changes.
This will erase any photos synced with the iphone and clear out anything that might be corrupting the photos.
Now add a couple of photos to the new folder and sync the iphone again.
