Remembering the image editor program used

This is a follow-up question to my post of 10/22 re: image editor selection... I am able to select an image editor program using the 'edit with...' link on the library window in Captivate 5.0 and the program remembers my editor while I am in the current session... But if I close Captivate out, restart it, and open the same file again, the program forgot the editor I was using... Does Captivate remember my default editor selection only for the current session, or is it supposed to save my selection and show it the next time I open up the application?...

Is it normal that my Camileo S10 Camera does not remember the image-stabilizer setting?
I mostly use the 720px setting and stablilizer on, but after the camera is turned off the stabilizer is off again.

This might be possible.
I remember that the focus does not work if the stabilization has been enabled
So maybe its an intention of the manufacturer that the stabilizer would be disabled again.

HT1920 I am trying to sign on an old Apple ID through iTunes and it is likely that the email address I used has been closed down. I can not remember the password due to using a new apple ID I frequently use. How else can I retrieve my password or sign in?

I have an old Apple ID I have been trying to log in to retrieve permission for the songs I have bought for my iTunes. However due to it being an old ID, I have forgotten the password and from what I can remember, the email address I used for security was closed down. I am aware that I can go through security questions and when asked for my D.O.B, I have a feeling I never adjusted my settings in the Apple ID account therefore can not get past that question either.
Please help!

Display the images in excel using jsp

Hi
I am unable to display the images in excel using jsp. I can display the data. but cannot display the images. It is simply showing the icon without the image. Is there any way to display the images. Pls give some sample code to display the images in excel.

Presumably whoever created the images in that Excel document just put links to somewhere on their hard drive. Those links don't mean anything when you put the document on somebody else's computer, which is what you are doing. At least, that is my guess.
You could spend some time looking at the Excel file to see how the images were put in there. Or you could ask the person who put the images in there.

How to store the images in KM using Code

In the thread I just referred to, I already provided information about the HTMLB upload control. With this at hand, you'll get the file from the client to the server.
At server side, get an ICollection instance where you want to store the file and create the corresponding resource. I used to click on the image and then go to the corner hold down shift and resize it. Now it won't do it.

Did you turn off the "show transform controls" option in the move tool?
It sounds like you were using that previously.
And you can always transform by using the Free Transform command (command/control T).

I'm looking at Dreamweaver,Java Studio Creator.
I want some thing fairly easy to use that has database helper wizards like dreamweaver.

Is it better to have a servlet do the database work and call it from JSP?No, it's better to have persistence objects do the database work. Servlets handle HTTP requests, and JSPs are HTML factories that should be pure view.
But there are lots of ways to do things. You just have to understand the tradeoffs when you decide.
I do not want to hammer out code, I want to learn the
best way to do things from experienced developers. Sorry, sounded like you just wanted to churn stuff.
"best way" can be subjective. In one app, "best" might be "delivered fastest". For another, "best" might be "most secure" or "most easily modified" or "best performing" or whatever. You won't get a "best" answer, only different choices. And they aren't always so easy to explain or execute.
I'd recommend that you start by reading about layered applications (3-tier architectures) and MVC separation. Once you've Googled enough about that, look into a framework like Struts or Spring or WebWork. That'll help you figure out where to put each responsibility in your app.

I don't remember the email address I used for my apple ID. I got locked out of my iPod, cause I didn't remember the four-digit code.
Now its asking me to enter the ID and password. I can't even remember the password either. I think I remember the questions/answers. I can't start over and get a new account.

Not all screens rotate. For example, the home screen does not rotate.
Also, having the portrait lock turned on will prevent all screens from rotating.
This is covered in the User's Guide.
There is no International warranty on the iPhone, never has been.
Warranty and support are limited to the country of origin.

On Mac-- how do you set PS as the image editor

When I click edit on an image, it opens in Preview. I want it to open in Photoshop. I can't find any place within preferences to set this up. I'm sure it must be simple, but I can't figure this one out, and didn't find anything in the forums when I searched on Photoshop, or round trip .... thanks.

I'm not on Mac, but will give it a try. Find the image in the Library, use the right-mouse click (will be different on Mac I suppose) to open the Quick menu on this image, choose Edit with and you will be able to choose Photoshop as editor. Normally this will be remembered by Captivate, at least for images of the same 'kind' (same extension). Roundtripping with Photoshop is only available in the eLearningSuite: do you use that? In that case, follow the same workflow but this time on the Folder in the Library that represents the PSD-file, choose 'Edit PSD Source File'.

I'm getting into making home videos-but-I dont know how to edit them with deleting parts adding music and fonts. I need the editor program for my webcam so I can start editing my videos. Unless you are using a beta, Release Candidate, a 'N' version or Home Basic, I can only point you in the direction of Windows Movie Maker. That should do you for now. If you are using one of the versions I mentioned above, then you're stuck for now. Creative have yet to announce if and when any updates will arri've for camera products.

How to adjust the image captured when using Shift Ctrl Command 4 shortcut

After installing Mavericks on my macbook pro I now have issues when I use shift ctrl command 4. When pasting the image into an email it is very large and I am unable to edit it. It used to copy in much smaller.

Open Preview Application.
Select you image.
Click on Tools and select Adjust Size:

OK, hubby figured this out for me. Apple support were nice people but could not get the answer. Network Solutions online info was incorrect or incomplete. I do not remember exactly. However, the email that Network sent was EXACT. No info as to password reset but they gave the correct port numbers and .....Connection!
