Reminder alerts stopped working

My reminder alerts have stopped working on my iPhone 4, iOS 7.0.1 The reminders appear on the screen but no sound or vibration happen.

I understand you are not being alerted by sound or vibration when a reminder shows up on your lock screen. I would suggest taking a look at the attached article and make sure that the sounds are turned on.

Push notifications require an active Wi-Fi or cellular connection.

If you're not receiving notifications for a specific app, try these steps:
Verify that the app supports notifications.
After installing an app or restoring a backup to a different iOS device, open the app to begin receiving notifications. If the app requires entering or logging in to an account, you will need to do this before receiving notifications.
Check Settings > Notification Center to ensure that the app is configured for notifications. If notifications do not appear in the Notification Center, verify that the Notification Center setting for the app is enabled.

I've have iOS 6 for months. Out of the blue my text alerts stopped working. I've rebooted a few times to no avail. All settings look right. And everything else seems to be working proper.

Diesel I tend to agree with you there! All other sounds do work and I have the "glass" tone choosen for texting. I was all working fine with the new ios6 which I've had for months. since all other sounds work, I'll be heading to the genius bar at my local apple store. Now if only I'd taken that apple care ....LOL oh well

Toshiba notebook registration reminder has stopped working

everytime I open my laptop it shows "Toshiba notebook registration reminder has stopped working"
How can I fix that?

Do you need the registration reminder? I dont think so if you have already registered your notebook
Easiest way is you disable the program from start up Navigate to start > run > msconfig and select start up tab. Then search for registration reminder and uncheck the box.
Afte restarting the computer it shouldnt appear anymore. Can you confirm this?

Reminder app stop working when connecting it to iCloud

The reminder app suddenly stopped working. I can start the app but it doesn´t show any reminder list. I´m not able to show the main window with ⌘+0. This first happened to me under Mountain Lion. After upgrading to Mavericks everything seemed fine again and worked flawlessly. After a couple of weeks the same problem occured again. The only solution I have come up with yet is do disconnect Reminder app from iCloud reminders. After doing that I can start the app again it seems to work fine, without the reminders in iCloud though. I have tried to reinstall Mavericks but with no luck. Is there any solution for this problem available or is this a know bug which will be corrected anytime soon? I use the Reminder app all day at work so now this is very frustrating to me not being able to trust this app.

Do a backup.
Quit the application.
Go to Finder and select your user/home folder. With that Finder window as the front window, either select Finder/View/Show View options or go command - J. When the View options opens, check ’Show Library Folder’. That should make your user library folder visible in your user/home folder. Select Library/com.apple.quicktimeplayer.plist. Then go to Preferences. Move the .plist to your desktop.
Restart, open the application and test. If it works okay, delete the plist from the desktop.
If the application is the same, return the .plist to where you got it from, overwriting the newer one.

My custom alerts stopped working.

For some time now without issue I have been using rintones and text tones I created with garage band. The last week or so, they stopped working. The odd time one will work. Under settings for my contacts, nothing has changed. I even tried to reset the custom alerts to the contacts and also did a reset (not sure if I did hard or soft reset [home and power button]. If you have any advice, please help.
I am using iphone 4s with software 7.0.4

There is only one kind of reset on an iPhone. It's just called a "reset" and you do it by pressing and holding the Home and power buttons until the silver apple appears.
I'd try resyncing the tones from iTunes.

Ring Tones/Alerts stopped working

My ring tones & alerts have stopped working. I only get the vibration. When I go to "Sounds" and try to reset ring tones, I get the following error message: "Invalid ring tone selected, please make another selection!" That happens no matter what ring tone or alert I try.

Ebay alerts stopped working (cha-ching for sold item)

My ebay alerts (bid alerts and the cha-ching when an item sells) has stopped working, Ive tried down loading all the updates etc but still no joy,
Ive also checked all the settings but still nothing!

If you have an Apple Store (or a Premium re-seller) near you, you can take it in for examination. Whether there will be a charge for that, I don't know.
Best line of approach would be to ask for a formal quotation to repair the item. As it is out of warranty, any repair work would be chargeable but asking for the quote will avoid someone just doing the work ... and presenting you with an unacceptable bill.

SCEP Email Alerts Stopped Working in SCCM 2012 R2

System Center 2012 R2 alerts for SCEP have stopped sending emails upon an infection. Some infections, not all, are still being reported under the monitoring tab but an email is no longer sent. I have tried to test with the EICAR test files and
nothing was reported under monitoring. I tested the email through SCCM and it is working.
This happened once before and I deleted the subscription and added it back to get it working again. This time, no luck. Any help is appreciated.

Performance monitor counter alert stops working during run

I've created a counter alert whenever the processing time of a specific process falls below a certain threshold, so that a email would be sent to me through task scheduler. I had tested the set up by turning off the process and checking to see whether performance
monitor would trigger an alert (it did). Then I let the counter run continuously. After several days, I noticed that the process had froze, but the counter did not trigger an alert even though performance was clearly below the threshold I had set. It doesn't
look like the counter had stopped running either during this time. Why wasn't an alert triggered? Is it not possible to run a counter continuously?

Firstly, would you please tell us which performance counter you have chosen? Is it Process\%Processor time?
In addition, which kind of alert have you configured, to log in the event log or send emails?
Process\% Processor
Time is the percentage of elapsed time that all of process threads used the processor to execution instructions. You can try to turn off the process which is frozen now to see if you will receive the alert.
Besides, what is the meaning of “run
a counter continuously”? Did you set any stop conditions?

Alerts stopped working

There is a problem with my alerts as they quit working after a year. This is really a problem with the quality of the Motorola phone in my estimation. I need an upgrade to a phone that will work all the time with notifications.

Let's get your alerts working! What model Motorola do you have and what alerts are you speaking of? Usage alerts? Messaging? Also, when did this begin?

Ringtones, message tones and alerts suddenly stopped working on my Pixi.....

I just upgraded from an old BB Curve to a Palm Pixi. I got my new phone, September 27th 2010... two days later, after normal usage (ie texting, calling & photos) the alerts stopped working completely. I have never used headphones on that phone either. I called my service provider and they sent me a new Pixi, which I got three days ago. Well this afternoon, while sitting in my pocket, the same exact thing happened as the other Pixi. (Again, I have never used headphones) I can play music through the outer speakers, I can play ringtones if I open them and play them manually... but whenever I receive a call or text all my phone will do is vibrate, also my alarm won't work (sound) and neither my calendar alerts. I have all the audio settings turned to "on". I even have the system sounds turned to "on" but they won't play (the sound when you take a pic or throw a card off the screen)... no sound on my game apps either. I really love this phone, but I'm so temped to go back to my old BB Curve. Has anyone else had this problem? Is it fixable or should I just a get a new Pixi?

Have you checked the ringer switch on the top of the device next to the power button? Do you see red showing; if so switch it in the opposite direction so you do not see red. The device is in vibrate mode in the position, and all sounds is disabled.

Registration reminder suddenly not working ?

Laptop purchased in February and has been successfully registered for warranty etc with Toshiba. In the last 10 days I have had repeated error messages that the Toshiba registation reminder has stopped working - the windows error message is in fact :

I don't understand why this reminder exe would need to run at all (although there seems to be a related config file dated 23 July 2009 ........which implies the registration tool may THINK my laptop is now out of warranty ?
All this has occurred at the same time as repeatin WIN7 "blue screen of death" crashes and I am wondering if they are connected ..specifically if the Toshiba program malfunction is the cause of the BSOD ?

So none of those seems to be "registration reminder" ?
EDIT - I DO see something called "TRDC reminder" listed in the Toshiba Folder on the C drive under "program files x86" - is that it ..(although it doesn't appear as a prog I can uninstal via control panel).
I also see a folder called "registration" within the Toshiba folder under C drive Program Files, but again that folder doesn't appear in control panel.

E52 msg alerts not working

            Hi, I bought a nokia e 52 phone on 7th october.my phone was fine for the first few weeks nd then the message alerts stopped working.The problem is the message is recieved in the inbox but the phone does not show that it has recieved a message.This is happening in all profiles.If it is in general and outdoor profiles there is no response from the phone,even in silent it does not vibrate.To solve this problem t have to restart my phone everytime when this problem occours.this problem was not there for me before the software update.
             can any one help me out with this please.i have tried doing reinstallation of phone software with nokia software updater.But that dint solve my problem. one more problem is that phone gets hung up when i answer a call.My phone comes back to normal state after a while.hope nokia will soon give a software update nd resolve the problems.

Do you have a very high no. of messages stored in the phone ? If so delete max. possible.. Incude all the sub-folders in the 'Messaging' folder..

I updated Itunes to the latest and now windows keeps sending an alert that says Itunes stopped working. How do I fix this?

I just updated my itunes after receiving an alert through my windows 8. My laptop automatically restarts after an update to secure the changes in setting and applications. But a minute after opening itunes and its loaded, a windows alert pops up stating that Itunes has stopped working. How can I fix the problem without losing the music in my Itunes?

Why are you posting in this forum about what occured with an independent service provider? How is is at all relevant to Apple?? In fact, service by any person or business not authorized by Apple voids any waranty.
