Reminder e-mail of full storage at iC

I´ve got a reminder e-mail that my iC storage is full. Checking on my iOs dev says that I have 2,6 GB left of 5GB. Are there different storage for my MacBook and my phone and pad?

I am unsure but maybe the Ally has a power manager option like other android devices that can restrict email retrieval at curtain times to conserve battery life, try checking settings menu for a power option menu and also check email accounts settings and make sure you do not have a peak and off peak option.

Can only view Mail in full-screen mode

After installing Yosemite, I can only view the main Mail window in Full Screen mode, unless I check "Classic View" in Preferences. Classic view does not help much, because it does not show the preview, which is essential to me. If I exit fullscreen mode, the minimized window appears for a split-second and then disappears down the left bottom corner of the screen and you cannot find it anywhere. The only way to see anything again is to go to Mail - View - Full Screen. Any help is much appreciated.

Mail In Full Screen Closes Window after Sending

I love using mail in full screen.
When I send a new message or reply to a message the Mail window closes out of the full screen and closes the mail window. How do I get the window to stop closing after I send or reply?

I found out what is was. I had serial mail try to send about 200 emails. Something went wrong (not sure whether it is lion compatible) and there were a load of unsent emails somewhere in the background. Funny thing was they were not showing anywhere, just when I tried to close window, an unsent message popped up.
Anyway, force quit mail as I could not be bothered to find out how many mails had not been sent, and on reopening all back to normal

Try turning the account off and on : Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars , then tap the account on the right, slide Mail to 'off', exit settings and go back into the Mail app, and then go back to Settings and slide Mail back to 'on'
If that doesn't work then try closing the Mail app completely : from the home screen (i.e.not with the Mail app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Mail app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
Also do a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Learning Solution - Need to send a reminder e-mail to all participants

I need to be able to send a reminder e-mail to all participants in a course. I would like the e-mail to be sent to the participants 7 days prior to the start date of the course.
We currently use SMARTFORMS to send an e-mail to a participant when he is booked into a course. We would like to send the same e-mail to the participant 7 days prior to the start of the course as a reminder.
Would I accomplish this using a workflow? Does anyone know a function that could be used to send the same e-mail again? We have not been able to find the code to send the e-mail to the participant again.

What exception do you get in the code? Could you please be more specific?
The GetTemporaryFilePath method is only valid for those attachments whose Type property
is OlAttachmentType.olByValue. That means that the attachment is a copy and that the copy can be accessed even if the original file is removed. For other attachment types, the GetTemporaryFilePath method

Mac Mail displays full email addresses instead of contact name

I use the Mail application on my MacBook for managing multiple email accounts and use the Contacts application to manage my address book (self explanatory).
For example: I have saved PayPal's email address ([email protected]) into my address book as "PayPay" because of the high number of emails I receive from them. In Mail, each email I have received is displaying the full email address of the sender, rather than their address book name (whether it be a company or friend/relative) and this is making it to spot senders while scrolling.
Is there a setting where if the email address is in the Contacts app, the name of that particular contact appears rather than the full address?

whether your number or email address is desplayed depends on how you have Caller ID set.
Settings -> Messages ->Receive At ->Caller ID (chose what you want displayed)

As far I'm aware, what you're asking to do is not a native feature of iPad. In other words, I don't believe this can be done.

Change send address for calendar reminder e-mails

I use Apple's calendar on my iMac and IOS devices. I often have it e-mail a reminder to me.
The e-mail address being used to SEND the emails is an old one that I do not use and want to get rid of. But, I can't figure out how to tell calendar to use a different email to SEND reminders to my normal email address. Is there any way to get Calendar to use a different email to send reminders to me.

P.S. Yosemite runs fine on my 3 year old iMac. And, amazingly enough, IOS 8.2 runs well on my old iPad 2, slow, but it runs well.

Can you delete the old address in add Invites and enter the new one?

Mac Mail in full screen keeps sending same email

In full screen mode, after I hit "SEND" , the email doesnt close (as if i havent pressed send).
If I keep pressing "SEND" it keeps sending the same email (unfortunate for the recipient).
The only way to releave the problem is to exit fullscreen.
Anyone else having this issue?

Remove Reminder in Mail From iCal!

Hello,
I am starting to use iCal so far I am LOVING IT. But only issue is when I have stuff in iCal it shows up in Apple Mail. I don't like that. How can I fix it so my reminder do not show up in Apple Mail?

How to create a reminder from Mail?

Hello, is there any way how to quickly create a reminder in Reminders application directly from Mail application?
I have found a guide how to do that in Mountain Lion (http://www.cnet.com/how-to/add-an-e-mail-to-the-os-x-reminders-app-for-easy-foll ow-up/), but it seems that this procedure is no longer working in Yosemite. Could it be caused by the fact that I am trying to create an iCloud reminder for an e-mail message coming from Exchange?

You cannot drop something onto an app window that was still in Exposé mode (only window on a dark background). After hovering over the app icon, and when the app window appears in Exposé, hover over that until the app comes into the foreground. Then, you should get a green + badge on the drag icon.
If you start dragging and cmd-tab to Reminders, the window should be an active drop zone immediately.
