What's up with the Sun Java coding convention

I thought Sun leading the Java development should also be a better example on the Java coding convention.
They do publish a coding convention guide, I believe. But looking at Java core library's source code, so long, coding convention! :(
Just looked at ArrayList.java source for the version 1.4.2. There are method names like RangeCheck(). Shouldn't a method start with lowercase? Shouldn't a method be verb first like checkRange() instead?
And there are statements like this all over the place:

shouldn't that be:
if (foo) {
bar();
man, I thought this golden version of the Java Foundation Library code should be almost perfect by this time now. :(

statements.I follow camickr's example. I think it's more readable. Whitespace is a good thing, IMO, and not used enough. Putting the brace on the next line down not only makes it easier to associate opening and closing braces visually but it sets the block of code off visually from the rest. Personally, I get a gestalt effect from that.
I don't worry about a byte here or there. It might sound like heresy, but Moore's Law makes memory and disk space cheaper and more plentiful all the time. I think maintainability and readability trumps being miserly about bytes in my thinking these days. ;)
Spare me the "inefficiency" lectures. I know - performance matters. The 80/20 rule says that byte won't be killer.
It's too bad that Sun doesn't follow their own conventions. Don't they do code review there?
Joshua Bloch didn't follow the standard? Too bad - he did a great job on the collections design. Maybe he delegated it to a younger coder and missed that during the code review. Yeah, that's it! ;)

Here is what we found so far (6.2 beta)
- New Mobil Access Pack (Version 6.2) --- oh yea! now your portlets have to be WML compatibel!
- JSR 168 Support --- and run on any portals anywhere!
- New Directory Server (Version 5.2) --- lets see if we can handle this one!
I guess the rest will be given at Sun Network Conference
in Moscone Center...

It seems Lumia 620 doesn't benefit the "double tap to wake", other than that all announced apps and features will be available. I advise to check also some great beta apps from Nokia Beta Labs, kudos to the guys developing these.

I don't know specifically, but you can take a look at this article, which explains VoiceOver on a 4th gen shuffle and compare that to how it works on your 3rd gen shuffle.

As far as I know Toshiba European driver page does not provide any details what has been changed in the BIOS.
But I found some details on Toshiba US page.
It seems that Fn+N+1/2/3/4 debug function has been removed in BIOS 2.0 to avoid keyboard abnormal behavior.

Thnx patc, i think i will process with the update, you see it large difference in version numbers i have 2 and the new is 5 so it seems that the were a hundreds of bugs were fixed

What's new in the latest itunes user agreement

This has bugged me for years and Finally it gets in the news that people don't know what they are agreeing too.
Nobody want's to (or needs to) read through the whole aggreement every time it is changed.
Does anybody know if Apple or a third party site lists what new things we are agreeing to?

The original question was just asking if there was a place somewhere on this site or another that posted what was new in the latest iTunes agreement.
I think this is within the rules of the discussion area.
Interesting about the Dragon app.
btw I realize we are mostly non-Apple users but I suspect some apple monitoring.

"What's new" crashes the page when displaying a Team discussion item with a reply

We have a SP2013 site with a "What's new" web part on its home page. Amongst other things, it is supposed to display stock-standard "Team discussion" updates.
We have the following problems:
1. When a new "Team discussion" topic is created, we navigate back to the home page, but the topic is not displayed in the "What's new".
2. When a topic gets a reply, going back to the home page (where the "What's new" web part is) is not possible and it causes a crash.
The error we get is:
