There is no "world apple warranty" on iPhones. As paulcb points out, the warranty is only valid in the country of origin. You will have to bring it to the U.S. or send it to someone you know there to get it serviced.

No they don't unless You buy an external BD-burner with Playback program (if they ever exist).
As it looks like Apple is leaving the DVD disk format too so Blu-Ray is not on the list as I read Mac Worlds and alike.
I use a PlayStation 3 - and it works very well.

How can I get my Bluetooth to connect? I took it to the apple store in San Francisco and got horrible service and my phone still doesn't work in regards to Bluetooth and glitches ? Please help

I am very disappointed, I can not connect my Bluetooth to any device (ie. beatpill) and I took it to the store they reset my phone and told me everythibg should work and it turns out that nothing works. Not only the Bluetooth but my phone glitches while in use (ie. It freezes, it'll reset randomly, and the apps freeze or won't close, whrn texting it will close out my messages) things of that nature. Please help because thus far no one else has and it has become a problem for me to use my phone.

What does the beat pill manual say on how to pair to iphone?

Search and update oracle forms 10g

hi
i hav a table in database with name TBH.in that table there are 25 to 30 columns.its a material details table.
by using add material form i insert all the details of the material in the table.2 colums have primary key(material id and material code).
now iam making search and update form.on material code item i have WHEN-MOUSE-CLICK-TRIGGER and calling LOV and displaying
record.
but the problem is when iam making changes in some fields its giving error ...UNABLE TO INSERT....
when i check display error its showing
ORA-00001: unique constraint (DETA.SYS_C006356) violated..
please help...

now iam making search and update form.on material code item i have WHEN-MOUSE-CLICK-TRIGGER and calling LOV and displaying record. Please show us your code! It sounds like you are adding the found record to your block manually rather than letting Forms query the record. Consquently, Forms will recognize this as a new record instead of an existing record and will attempt an INSERT rather than an UPDATE. Again, please show us your code so we can better help you.

I live in San Francisco. Why is my mac in Memphis

Why did they skip over San Francisco over to Memphis, Tennessee ? I have two custom macbook airs coming in from the factory in Shang hai, china. ( this what the tracking page said. I'm guessing cause its custom.) so why did they go over there? Wouldn't it be faster to stop in San Francisco and make the delivery? Not fly over it?

likely due to Memphis being a delivery hub for Apple.
Same reason UPS shipments from South America going to California FIRST land in Louisville, because Louisville is the UPS hub.
shipping tonnage has a process often that doesnt rely on "going the shortest route" rather shipment and import protocols and where the central hub of dispersion occurs.
Same reason if youre taking a train from VA to Arizona, it goes north to Chicago first. Chicago is the hub from which all else goes out.

I'm going to San Francisco and I want to get one there, but I don't know if it will work outside the US, I'm assigned to Ecuador for 5 months, then Argentina for 6 and then India for a year.

Unfortunately, as was stated, all U.S iphones are carrier locked to AT&T. It doesn't matter if you purchased it at a no-contract price, it is still locked to AT&T. No official way to unlock them. You are better off buying one in Canada. However, you have to have a physical shipping and billing in Canada in order to buy one, as the factory unlocked iphones only sell through online in Canada. If you have friends or relative who lives in Canada, have them order the phone for you and have them ship to your location. Otherwise, U.S iphone will not work, only has international roaming, which can be costly.

Oracle Forms and Reports Installation - Creating domain failed

I installed the weblogic 10.3.6 (Oracle WebLogic Server 11gR1 (10.3.6) + Coherence + OEPE - Package Installer) in my Microsoft Windows(32-bit JVM) system first.
But there was an error occorred when the package of forms and reports (Oracle Forms and Reports 11gR2 (11.1.2.2.0)) was installing.

on windows there are some steps in front of installation and configuration.
1) cleare the Windows Env (Path .. Programme x86 )
no Blank in Path and so on
2) insert into your local host file your server and IP Adress
3) in Windows 32 setup of WLS is JDK included so you don't have to install the jdk in front of WLS
4) verify if you are using the right installation medium (jdk 32 bit, wls 32 bit , fmw 32 bit
in your OraInventory/logs directory is a *.out file for your installation please can you put this file in the forum
is there a nodemanager up and running (if so please stop)

Calling a Web service from Oracle Forms....

Hi ,
I 've tried to follow the steps described in the link:

which uses : a)JDeveloper 9.04 and b)Oracle Forms 9.0.4.
However , i have installed Oracle Forms 10.1.2 and JDeveloper 10.1.2. (Developer Suite 10.1.2.).
The problem is that in JDeveloper 10.1.2. the type of applications and menus and properties and.... have changed and i cannot finish the tutorial!!!!!
Is there any document/example showing how to create a web service in JDeveloper and call it form Oracle Forms....?????
NOTE: I have also installed JDeveloper 10.1.3...

Check the JDeveloper tutorials page on OTN (linked from the JDeveloper home page) and you'll find a tutorial on creating a web service.
The steps to invoke it from Forms should be the same.
googling on Oracle Forms web services will bring a few more samples.

Is it possible to display Oracle form as a region in OAF Page?

Is it possible to display Oracle form as a region in OAF page something like a master detail relationship such that Master information is displayed in OAF UI but detail information below is displayed in Oracle forms?Is there a tag that lets one do that specific for Form.
One way could be do to embed applet in OAF page which would call and display oracle form but not sure if using javascript/applet in OAF would violate OAF coding standards or create some session management issues.

Thanks for your reply.I have seen an implementation that uses Adf and able to display form on same page as in inlinefraame in .jspx page using inlineFrame tag

Hello All,
I need to create form which can be use for two purposes. i.e insert and update
I have one table called emp which has 50 columns.
Only four columns has not null constraint.
I need to insert values in only these columns.
From SQLPLUS it can be cone as below:
insert ito emp values ('333','2222','007','AA','01-JAN-2007','','','','','','','','','',........);
After that I need to update one of the coulmn with the value as
update emp
set zipcode = 'Y'
where empt# = 007;
How could I achive this from Oracle form.
Any help will be appricated.

Why handle updates in the On-Update trigger? Oracle Forms already handles this for you. You update a data value in a field and click on the SAVE button (assuming you have a Save button) and the Oracle Forms handles the Update. The On-Update trigger is provided so you can perform processing in addition to the default UPDATE.

Jre hangs/freeze at digital signature dialog (oracle.forms.engine.Main)

we are using webforms (application server 11).
when a client starts up a form in the browser the dialog for accepting the digital signature (oracle.forms.engine.Main) appears. in this dialog wether a button can be klicked nor the checkbox (always trust...) can be checked. still this dialog can be moved.
what's the reason for that?
we tried different jre versions (1.6 u12 - u20) and also patch 9553040 (jrefb-6u20-rev-b05-windows-i586.exe) doesn't work - the same problem appears.

I [read this paper|http://forms.pjc.bean.over-blog.com/ext/http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/forms/pdf/SigningJint13.pdf] before, years ago the first time. It's from *2002* and refers to JInitiator. And I read this paper again. But I stopped around page 13, reading

Not one of my best ideas. Notice, Sun Plug-in is mentioned and +8 years+ might not be enough, obviously.
Reason behind the "re-appearance" of the problem with forms 11g is that the forms jars (including webutil) are now signed with an VeriSign certificate what was not the case with 10g. Downloading jacob.jar by your own, you get an unsigned jar file. Signing this, as you were used in 10g leads to the second signing identity and the freezing problem.
But let's see how we could solve the problem, for the moment, perhaps for the next 8 years. We
. took solution path 2 out of the aove cited paper (Register Your Custom Signing Certificate Separately).
. rename jacob.jar to jy_jacob.jar (we do not want to interfere with other forms application of other companies also using webutil)
. add the registration applet code as described in the paper to jy_jacob.jar
. sign jy_jacob.jar.
. [to be on the save side we repeated these steps for all our jar files, necessary for the application]
. rename webutiljpi.htm to webutiljpijy.htm
. modify webutiljpijy.htm by adding applet registration section before webutil registration. This reads like

. modify formsweb.cfg so that webutiljpijy.htm and jy_jacob.jar are used (original settings as comments below)

And then, after flushing the jar cache, success! No freezing. It was possible to confirm the certifcates and to start the application.
Thnx to Mia Urman and the oracle forms communitiy on [http://oracleformsinfo.wordpress.com/] , who gave me the tip... There is another, easier solution.
Never set one of the original oracle jar-Files on pole position (1st position) in one auf the archive parameters. This leads to hanging.
Put one of your self-signed jar-Files in front and let the oracle jars follow. The forms application will start properly.
It work with 3 different signing authorities, also. What makes hope for 4, and so on.

How to connect oracle forms 10g with oracle 10g express database?

Hi all,
I have downloaded and installed oracle forms 10g and oracle database 10g express, when I open net configuration assistant to test local net service, I tested the default service (EXTPROC_CONNECTION_DATA) BUT THE RESULT IS "ora-28547 connection to server failed probable oracle net admin error"
How can I solve this issue?
My tnsname.ora is located in c:\DevSuiteHome\network\admin\tnsnames.ora, and its contents is:

I copied the contents of C:\oraclexe\app\oracle\product\10.2.0\server\NETWORK\ADMIN\tnsnames.ora and appended it to C:\DevSuiteHome\NETWORK\ADMIN\tnsnames.ora
and tried net configuration management to test local net service, the test was ok, thus the first problem resolved.
but the login problem in forms developer still exist and it claims that: ora-12154 tns could not resolve the connect identifier specified.
any ideas?
