Reminders app in Mavericks refuses to show iCloud data

I have had Reminders data on iPhone 5, iPad 2 and a 2009 MacBook for a good while... since Reminders first came out (iOS 6 / Mountain Lion I think?!?). All devices happily keeping in sync via the same iCloud account.
Now I've purchased a new MacBook Pro 15" Retina (Mavericks 10.9).
I have setup iCloud to use the same AppleID as the other devices. Mail, Contacts, Calendar, Notes, Safari bookmarks/tabs and various app documents and data all seem to sync perfectly well, but I have an issue with Reminders.
In iCloud in System Preferences it claims to have been enabled for sync'ing. But on launching the app on the MacBook Pro, no window is displayed. There is a faint outline of a Reminders window, but its totally transparrent, and no data is displayed.
If I turn off Reminders data syncing in System Preferences > iCloud, I am then able to launch Reminders and I see a Reminders window. As soon as I re-enable Reminders syncing via iCloud in System preferences the window refuses to display.
I have taken a look at the Console, and can see the following info.
I'm pretty sure there is some 'data issue' that is causing Reminders on the MacBook Pro to fail to display, but I've no idea how to trackthe data down / fix/edit it. Also, the data (all of it) shows fine on the other devices (including the MacBook which is also running Mavericks 10.9).
Anyone seen similar?
Any pointers on where to look?

Apps and Music are not from iCloud. Are from iTunes and App Store.
You can change this from: Settings>iTunes and App Stores>Sign out and sign in with new ID, but you will have to pay again to download apps that you already have in your old account. Or leave it as it is to share purchases with your son.

  • TS4000 calendar function disappeared in reminders app in ios7

In IOS7 the Reminders App lost its calendar function, it has become extremely difficult to go to the end of my 200 reminders list. Also to enter a new reminder you have to scroll to the end of the (200 items) reminders list first. In IOS6 there was a very easy calender function to navigate through your reminders much easier. Can we get back this calender function in a new update of the Reminders app? Or can someone show me a non-apple Reminders App that has this calender function that makes navigation through your Reminders easy?
    Tnanks!

  • Reminders App does not work on Yosemite with two iCloud accounts.

The Reminders App does not work on Yosemite (10.10.1) with two iCloud accounts. It seems like when there are two iCloud accounts connected in Yosemite (10.10.1) the plist file for Reminders disappears.
I have tried restarting Reminders; restarting the mac; starting the mac in recovery mode to repair the disk and disk permissions; and starting the mac in recovery mode and reinstalling OSX.

Yes sharing Reminders list works. The problem is, I have one shared iCloud account with a colleague (shared calendar, Reminders and email). It makes it easier to run our business with a single shared iCloud account...I know it's not the typical usage.

  • I cannot open "Show in Mail" link in Reminders app

    Hello Everyone,
I can drag emails over to my reminders app no problem but when I click the "Show in Mail" link.  It makes an error sound and doesn't do anything at all.
My default email reader is set to Mail 6.0 in the Mail preferences.
Anyone know what the problem is?

Use Mail to access your emails and not a web browser.
If you have not done this before you can probably get instructions about setting up Apple Mail from your email provider's web site.

  • Does the Reminders app sync with iCloud?

Do the to do items you create in the reminders app syn with iCal and the web calendar through iCloud?

Apparently it did sync only part for me although I have lost some entries within my lists within reminders when attempting to sync my mac and iPhone to iCloud simultaneously, no thanks to apple care.
Apple care set up my iCloud account over the phone and attempted to sync incorrectly resulting in this problem of mine. Since then Apple care have attempted to solve the problem but are not skilled enough to recover my lost entries from out there somewhere so i suggest you back up before syncing just in case you loose data also.
I suggest initially syncing only one device at a time to iCloud and to make sure you merge reminders when prompted.
    Hope this helps.

  • HT4759 My iPad was lost. I am using the Find my iPhone app, but it is not showing there (though the iPhones, even one that is not iCloud enabled, is). What can I do?

My iPad was lost today. I am using the Find My iPhone app, but it is not showing on the device list or the map (though my iPhones, even one that is not iCloud enabled, is). What can I do?

The only thing you might do is enable Lost Mode, which will allow you to set a passcode on it (as well as a message and phone number where you can be reached) so it will be locked when and if it does go online.  You can also receive an email informing you if it goes online so you can track it on icloud.com.  See http://help.apple.com/icloud/#mmfc0f0165.
In the meantime, you may want to change your passwords.

  • Why doesn't my reminders app show a badge?

My reminders app is enabled in the notifications center and "show badge app icon" is enabled but whenever a reminder goes off on my phone no red badge pops up to show me. I was wondering if there was a way to fix this. I'm using ios7.0.2 with iPhone 5s

Passbook keeps things like airline boarding passes, movie tickets, and gift cards all in one place, letting you scan your iPhone or iPod touch to check in for a flight, get into a movie, redeem a coupon, and more.
iOS: Using Passbook - Support - Apple
Apps aren't added to passbook, they can simply interact with it.
Take a look at the Starbucks app. There is probably an option to add your Starbucks card to Passbook.

I have entered my gmail id as my apple id, and created another icloud id. Now my mailbox shows No mail. Is this mailbox shows icloud mailbox or my gmail mailbox? How do i open my gmail mailbox in my iphone? or simply will have to download a gmail app?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")

  • Why has the Reminders app duplicated my iCloud account?

I was quite puzzled to see today that the Reminders app on my Mac has duplicated my iCloud reminders and seems to see them as two separate lists. A single reminder entry appears in both lists and is therefore registered as two reminders in the dock badge. They even appear as separate lists in the 'Default Lists' menu item......screenshots below. Any suggestions? I'm scratching my head on this one!

Does anyone have any thoughts then?

Everthing gets synced for my persoanl calendars, but there are also other calendars on the server that I can see in ical and on the iphone (reminders and claendar), but I cannot see them in the reminders.app on the mac.
