Looking for a code for my replacement TV tried 2135, 1893, 2056, 2123, 2060. How often are codes updated?

I have JMB 24883 FULL-HD LED TV and have tried all remote codes off Sky, none worked. This remote(RMT-B126A) doesn't have programmable codes because its not a universal remote. It is exclusive for your player(BDP-S3200) only. It may control other devices such as TVs but with the same brand only.

Hi, I wanted to pass on a code that I found that worked with the Bush 40" Full HD LED Smart TV (LED40127FHDCNTD) (Argos item number 128/1684). I tried a few codes from a round the web but found 0065 to work with this model with a Rev.9 Sky+ remote. For the sake of completeness here are some of the other codes that I tried without success: 2060, 1354, 2155 (from the Sky Remote page) , 2242,1613 and 2153. Hopefully this might help someone out there!

IMac Remote Code for DishTV Remote

Hi All,
I am using a new iMac as TV monitor via the EyeTV Hybrid input. Everything is working well except that I need to program my Dish remote to control the volume of my iMac.
Before I embark on the lengthy code discovery process, does anyone happen to know what the Dish remote programming code is for the iMac monitor?

Unfortunately, if you use all of the given device codes as well as the code search option, then you've pretty much gone through every code in the remote. There are over 300 codes, so you could try again in case you accidentally bypassed the correct code. There's also the possibility that the remote is defective, but if you have no trouble controlling other devices, then that makes it less likely.
If you have a 2nd remote for a 2nd STB you could try that and see if the trouble replicates. If you don't have a 2nd remote, you can obtain a replacement remote through the In Home Agent on your PC or Set Top Box. It can be downloaded here:

Try the setup with the 2nd remote, and failing that, then it just means the remote does not hold a code for that device. I realize the 2 devices are from the same manufacturer, but they are 2 separate products, produced for 2 different services. Any question as to why the 2 are not compatible would have to be directed toward Philips.

Why won't SKY come up with remote codes for Seiki tv's especially when charging a fortune for SKY

I wish someone could tell me why no remote codes are not available for Seiki tv's instead of coming up with excuses.

Like all new kit, it takes time for the codes to be shared and then programmed into remotes.The Sky Remote has a database of known television codes.Each TV has a group of codes to control the different functions of the TV.Sky develops sets of codes for each TV manufactured and then applies its own code to the control set.The Sky code is what you need to program the Sky remote so that it uses the control set for the selected TV. Each Sky remote is programmed with updated code databases when it is manufactured and to keep track of what remote does what, it is given a Rev number found inside the battery bay of the remote. In the case of Seiki, the code set was not incorporated by Sky until Rev 10.Anything earlier will not work unless by sheer chance it matches the code set of another TV.

Remote code for Westinghouse LD-4055?

I've tried all the code in the documentation to no avail. Using the search method got the remote to *mostly* work, with the notable exception of the mute button (which does nothing) and the Input button (which mutes the TV). If I could just get the input button to work, I could ditch the original remote entirely.

I just bought a Visio Soundbar from Costco, but am unable to get its remote code (as shown in the Visio manual it's 1517) to work with the Verizon remote. I've tried the 9-2-2 method to scan, but no luck. I need help!!

Key Fix is a function on the two-device remotes. It is specifically for getting the VOL+/- and Mute buttons to function on TV's when the normal code works only for power. It may have a code that works for your soundbar. The explanation provided does not really offer whether it searches through all of its known codes, or just the ones specific to the TV brand you have set it to. But here it is:
Key Fix
If your remote control is programmed for your TV, but the <VOL>, <Mute>, or the <A/V> keys do not work correctly, then you can try using the Key Fix feature to fix the buttons.
1. Press and hold the OK and * buttons simultaneously. • The Red LED will blink twice and then stay on.
2. Press and hold the key that does not work correctly. The remote control will try a new code every second.
3. Once the TV responds correctly, release the button.
4. Press OK to save the current settings and finish programming your remote control.

Anyone have a remote code to use the Xfinity DVR remote with an LG NB3520A 300W Sound Bar?None of the LG codes work and there are NO LG devices listed under "sound devices". Works the LG TV fine, but not the sound bar's volume. Thanks..

This site covers JP1 programming, which is the connector in the battery compartment:http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/ I don't know if there is an existing code that may work, and you could do some key mapping to put the codes on the volume keys. Othewise, you would have to add your own upgrade using a JP1.x cable. You can ask on the forums to see if anyone knows something. I didn't see an obvious upgrade in the files section. Some of the more advanced people can use files from other remotes to create upgrades.
