Remote control between two phones ?

Hi
Is there any S60 application which could control another (similar) phone (N or E series) remotely e.g. via Bluetooth ?
There are somekind of VNC applications at market, but there is always PC involved. In my case I would like to control another phone remotely when it (e.g. N95) is connected to TV set.
Currently I need to keep my phone in my hand in order to change pictures or play music.

as far as I know the Wii is not compatible with BlackBerry devices.
Zeemote has released / will release soon a joystick for smartphones, including BlackBerry devices and Nokia devices.

Sync calendars between two phones

Have two iphones4s, how can I setup/use iCloud to synch the calendars between these two phones?

TThank you for the reply. I don't plan to pay more to increase iCloud size as in principal I don't want to...in any event, this is weird. I have plugged my wife into our iPad (we share it) as primary user. I linked my calendar to show on the iPad and I can now see her work schedule on my Apple calendar. She however cannot see MY calendar on her iPhone. Any thoughts?
i Prefer to use my Sunset App calendar and I can sync it flawlessly with my google/gmail calendar. Sunset refuses to show my wife's calendar which now shows on my phone (I suppose perhaps that's a separate issue).
Anyways...any idea on how to get my wife's phone to show MY calendars?

Remote connection between two macs.

I'm trying to set up a remote connection between my iMac and my MacBook so I can share them over the network. On the MacBook's Terminal I'm entering the following command: "ssh username@hostname" witch is supposed to let me remotely login into my iMac, after a few seconds the command line prompt me with this message: "connect to host 1.2.3.4 port 22: Operation timed out". What am I missing?

Share GPRS Connection between two phones

Hey.. was just curious if its possible to share a gprs connection from one mobile.. say N73 to some other mobile say N95 via bluetooth .. I know we can share the internet connection of a PC to a mobile over bluetooth but .. is it possible to do so between two mobiles?
It would be great if there's some 3rd party app which actually makes this possible!

Technically it can be done.
But I don't know til now an application which do this.
There is some apps for WiFi but not for GPRS.
May be you have to post your suggestion to some 3rd party companies or may be it's time for you to develop your own application.
You have many choices for programming: C++, Python, Java, ...

Remote sync between two RAID arrays

We have two Xserve RAID arrays. One is here in our local office, the other at a remote site which hosts a few of our servers as well. Does anyone have any suggestions for keeping the two synced? I would like to not have to deal with tape backups in the office, but the files being stored here are pretty valuable. I've dealt with this on the Windows side with a tool called Tacit. Essentially that was a Windows box that had proprietary software that would continually update remote Tacit boxes. Anything like that on the Mac side? Possibly free? Would Automator be able to sync me up?

Calendar Sync between two phones?

If my wife and I both have iphones, how could we get the two to sync together?
Ultimately, I would come home and have it sync on the fly wirelessly to a desktop computer. She would do the same, and then mine would update to grab her new appointments.
Is this in any way possible? Or at least something similar? If so, what applications would we need.
We are both new to apple, but I am willing to get a mini-mac if needed and any software needed to do this.

Keeping our lives organized is super important! I love Google Calender and will be delighted to provide assistance. B33 and Breezex provided great suggestions that I would absolutely attempt first (thank you!). If you're still unable to sync your calendars I would recommend resetting the calendar application on your phone. This won't remove any calendar events from your Google Calender. Texts not working between two phones

My father and I cannot receive texts from each other. He's got a Samsung Galaxy Avant on T-Mobile and I've got an Iphone 6 Plus on Verizon Wireless. Neither of us receive any errors. Nothing is blocked on my account or on my phone. I'd like to verify with support if the messages are traversing Verizon's network. I'm trying to determine if we have a carrier, software or hardware issue. The issue was intermittent in the past but has been constant for months.

The issue magically cleared up after I chatted online with cust service, was told there was nothing wrong on Verizon's end, then posted here. Someone fixed something, but nothing was communicated to me. Would love to know what was fixed in case it happens again, as well as to quell my curiosity. I'm paid to fix technical problems and actually get excited about solutions. The log of my previous chat was deleted above by the site admin for "violating terms of service." Would be nice if the admins (or anyone at verizon) could exert the required effort to find out what the fix was and communicate it to me, but editing support blogs seems like the priority. Like most large companies, verizon seems to have its priorities out of whack. Maybe fix your useless chat support, rather than delete the post which illustrates its ineptitude. Customer service is dead :( On a brighter note, dad and I can now text eachother again. Huzzah!

Swapping Cell Phone Numbers Between Two Phones...

I hope someone can answer this question before I got ahead and order my iPhone 4 on the 10th.
Ok...right now I have my Incredible. I am adding the Family Share Plan in which I'm adding a second line to get the iPhone 4 for $299. My question is once I get the new iPhone 4 with the new number can I TRANSFER numbers where my original number I have NOW can be ported to the iPhone 4 and the NEW number goes back to the Incredible. Yes you can swap the numbers once you get it. You can do it online, via #228 or a call to Customer Service.

Looking for an to-do app that syncs between two phones

Hi -- I’m looking for an app that I can use on my iPhone and my assistant can use on her iPhone that is basically a to-do list that allows us to set up tasks, and perhaps make comments on them, and to note when a task is finished or how much progress is made. And one that would update each other’s list (which would be set from one device ideally), in real time.
Maybe this is just obviously a part of to-do lists apps, but wasn’t sure. If it is, I can’t figure it out.
I had previously used google docs and we’d share a doc and note when there were changes to that doc. That would serve as our to-do list.
Anyone have suggestions on the right app?

There are probably hundreds of them. Any.do's new premium service looks nice. Tidiest allows collaboration. Keep in mind that what you're looking for sounds almost more like project management. Using that as a search term might help.

How to make two PCs (one local, one remote) control the same running vi at the same time?

Hi Labviewers,
I have a vi running, and two PCs are monitoring it, one is local and another one is remote.
I can see the remote front panel at the remote machine by using application property node, but it seems only one of the two PCs has the control of the running VI at the same time.
Is there any way to make the two PCs both have the control of the same vi at the same time? Switching back and forth the control between two PCs is really annoying.

What exactly are you trying to control?
Perhaps another approach? You could use "Shared Variables" from LV 8.0 and have a copy of the writer VI on each of the control PCs edit the value on the host PC. But as soon as I post, someone is going to talk about multiple writers to shared resources being a bad idea.... so just be careful or you may try to edit a value that has already been changed.

Need to sign Lenovo in order to install our Remote Control app for our Customer - Help please!

I am not certain if I have started the thread in the right place, if I have not, admins please help me transfer this thread where needed.
One of our Customers is going to purchase our Remote Control application, in order to access and remote control their Android Smartphones, from their Windows PCs (Windows Computers to access and remote control their Android phones). The Customer is using Lenovo as their smartphones (about 2000 of them).
However, our application needs to be signed by Lenovo in order to fully install and run on a Lenovo Android smartphone.
I do not have access to the Support department, nor to the Development department of Lenovo in China.
Is there a way that you would recommend I take, either by contacting Development directly, or Support, and where would that be? China or US?

Use the "auto search" feature of the remote to see get the code.
In the manual, it's under "WHAT IF NONE OF THE CODES WORKED"
Here's a summary:
program the TV, use code 922
Press Play
then Press Fast forward.
Keep pressing fast forward until your tv turns off (go slow, if you go to fast you can use rewind to go back a code).
when it turns off, the remote found the code, press OK to save it.

You can use Dukto (free from Nokia store) to share files between compatible Nokia devices as long as it is installed on both Nokia handsets.

Set up Apple TV (2nd and 3rd generation)
On Apple TV, select Settings from the main menu.
Select General > Remotes > Remote App. If Home Sharing isn't set up on your Apple TV, you should turn it on.
Apple TV (2nd and 3rd generation) uses Home Sharing to stream content from your iTunes library on your computer to your HDTV. If you connect your Apple TV to your iTunes library using Home Sharing, you can use Remote to browse and play content from any iTunes library in the Computers section of your Apple TV. You can also use Remote to select between available speakers to enhance your audio and video experience.
