Remote Enabled RFC for Reading SMTP Adress out of ADR6

Hi,
just searching for a Remote Enabled Funtion which is able to return the SMTP Adress out of Table ADR6 for a given business Partner ID. (which needs also to be converted to ADDRNUMBER via BUT000 / BUT020 to match the Key Field of ADR6)
Any hints for me ?
Thanks
Marco

Marco,
Use the following sequence of BAPI's:
Call: BAPI_BUPA_ADDRESSES_GET,
Then call:
BAPI_BUPA_ADDRESS_GETDETAIL
This will allow you to get the e-mail address for a given partner id.  You can write a wrapper bapi, to consoldiate the two steps into one process if needed.
Take care,
Stephen

  • Remote enabled FM for the Portal application

    Dear all,
    I need to develop a Remote enabled FM for the Portal application. The requirement is to pass the output( few fileds) of MC.1 Transaction to the portal.The issue is whether to write our own logic in the function module or is there any alternative way.
    The input is same as for the std tarnsaction MC.1
    Thanks
    Kumar

    Yes you will have to create a Z function module.
    Instead of declaring the function module as normal function module in the attributes tab, mention it as remote function module.
    Also when giving import and export parameters select the pass value check box.
    This might solve your query.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • Enable commenting for reader

    Hello,
    Is it possible to set "enable commenting for reader" as the default condition when saving?
    Thanks,
    Scott

    No, it must be done manually for each file (unless you purchase a very
    expensive server product that can do it to multiple files).

  • Web services enabled RFC for SO creation in SAP  5.0 is not responding

    Dear Members,
    Third party application is not able to getting response from SAP R/3 web service enabled RFC.
    We have created a RFC for creation of Sales order by passing mandatory values into SAP thorugh third party application from outside SAP. Accessing RFC in SAP through Web service is not sending response properly. However Sales Order is getting created in the SAP system perfactly, in return to third party application to out side SAP through web service throughing an Exception.
    As standalone RFC in SAP, which is creating Sales order perfactly.
    Here we have deleted web service of RFC many times and recreated also, still the problem is not get resolved.
    Web services is got configured perfactly in the SAP, because other RFCs are working fine.
    Please someone suggest how to resolve this issue in case of Sales Order creation through web service enabled.
    Sudheer

    Hi ARC,
    Here the issue is that, Sales Order is getting created but while sending the Order num. to Webpage through web service then rasing below Exception.
    Runtime Error UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION
    Except. CX_SOAP_CORE
    Date and Time 07.05.2008 20:13:24
    ShrtText
    An exception that could not be caught occurred.
    What happened?
    The exception 'CX_SOAP_CORE' was raised but was not caught at any stage in the
    call hierarchy.
    Since exceptions represent error situations, and since the system could
    not react adequately to this error, the current program,
    'CL_SOAP_TRANSPORT_EXTENSN_ROOTCP', had to
    be terminated

  • Standard remote enabled bapi for creation of purchaser contract in srm

    Hello Friends
    Plz tell me is there any standard,remote enabled FM/BAPI in SRM system for creation of purchaser contract.
    I found BBP_PD_CTR_CREATE. But this is normal FM.
    I need BAPI like BAPI_CONTRACT_CREATE which there in ECC system.
    Plz help.
    Thanks & regards,

    One idea is to write a wrapper FM that is remote enabled and internally call BBP_PD_CTR_CREATE for your own use.

  • Enable Commenting for Reader not working

    I create a PDF file in Acrobat 8.1 and select Enable Commenting in Reader. However, the users open the file in Reader 9 and it doesn't work. I've been able to replicate this. And no matter what I do - save the file with a different name, in a different location, whatever - it never enables commenting. However, if I check the Security for the file in Reader it says commenting is allowed. I'm at my rope's end. This is how my users provide feedback so it's a really important feature for us.
    Anyone know why this is happening? This was not an issue up until recently and nothing has changed (no upgrades or anything).

    Thanks for getting back. I am uploading a sample of PDF in which I enabled commenting but when I open it in Reader the commenting toolbar is not displayed but when you go to properties it says commenting is allowed. I also checked to make sure the files were not be saved as archive files (it is set to never save files as archives).
    I am also uploading screenshots of the process I follow to enable comments and of the Reader properties dialog that shows commenting is allowed.

  • PDF opens slower after enabling comments for Reader

    I enabled commenting for Adobe Reader to my PDF and now when I try to open the document in Reader it takes about 15 seconds longer. Ok, its just 15 seconds, but still...all my other pdf documents open instantly. Is Adobe Reader loading/checking the entire document for comments?--maybe that's why it takes longer?

  • Failed to enable documento for Reader

    Hello again,
    I just finished doing a fillable PDF with Acrobat 9 and I need to save it as a fillable PDF that can be saved.
    Thus I go to Advanced and clic on Enable Reader users to save form data, but I get a popup error that said "Impossible to save document for Reader" [I am using the Italian version of Acrobat and I translated this error - it may be different in the English version]. No code error is displayed nor a Help link.
    One thing worth mention: when working on this document, I often got the error 14 - Impossible to save the document.After trying another 2 or 3 times the document was saved correctly.
    I tried this solution: http://blog.stronico.com/2009/12/how-to-fix-the-adobe-acrobat-save-as-error/  with no luck.
    Please help!

    I embedded all the fonts in Word 2007 (Word button > Options > Save > Embed only the characters used in this document    - see http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/microsoft-office/embed-true-type-fonts-in-word-and-powerpoi nt-2007-documents/ )
    Then I saved the Word file as a PDF.
    I opened the old PDF and replaced all the pages with the new embedded PDF, but I still have the error 14 when saving (on the third attempt it saves the PDF, anyway) and I am still unable to save the PDF with extended accessibility.
    Plus, Acrobat crashes....
    Please note that the fillable PDF opens and displays correctly in Reader.

  • Acrobat Pro Calculating form fields lose functionality after enabling document for Reader

    I have a problem that continues to come up increasingly. I thought I had found a work-around on some forums, but it is still causing trouble. Im hoping you can answer the question.
    I am creating a form that requires simple calculations (sum and add). I can get these calculations to work just fine. However, as soon as I enable the document for Adobe Reader, the form seems to get amnesia. It loses the ability to calculate. When I go into the fields again to look at them, they still show that they are supposed to calculate, but arent working. I have to clear the calculations and completely reset them all in order to get them to function again, but as soon as I save this enabled doc, it loses its functionality all over again.
    Frustrating.
    I did find a work-around on a forum, but have only gotten it to work once. It had something to do with closing and saving the document, then reopening it before entering the calculations.
    Is there a clear-cut solution to this problem? The forums were rife with people experiencing the same frustrations.
    Thanks ahead of time for your assistance.

    Nathan,
    It's fairly straighforward to set up a custom validation script for this, but it might not be immediately obvious how to do it. I'll use your form as an example. In it, you have a number of rows with a Quantity field where the user enters how many items are needed, a Price field that has as its default value the price for the item, and a Total field which is a calculated field and should be the product of the Quantity and Price fields. The only variable in the calculation is the value of the Quantity field, so this will be easy.
    The Validate event of a field gets triggered when the field value is committed. This happens when the user enters a value and presses Enter, Tab, clicks outside of the field, etc. What the script should do is take the value the user entered, multiply it by the value that's in the Price field, and set the value of the Total field. The script could look something like:
    (function () {
        // Get the value of this field, as a number
        var qty = +event.value;
        // Get the value of the Price field, as a number
        var price = +getField("PRICE.0").value;
        // Calculate the total
        var total = qty * price;
        // Set the value of the Total field if not zero,
        // otherwise, blank it out
        getField("TTL.0").value = total ? total : "";
    What you really should do, however, is set up a document-level JavaScript (Advanced > Document Processing > Document JavaScripts...) that contains a function you can call from the QTY field of each row. The function will determine which row should be affected based on the field name that triggers it. Something like:
    function calcTotal() {
        // Get the row number from the field name
        // of the field that called this function
        var row = event.target.name.split(".").pop();
        // Get the value of the field that called this function, as a number
        var qty = +event.value;
        // Get the value of the Price field, as a number
        var price = +getField("PRICE." + row).value;
        // Calculate the total
        var total = qty * price;
        // Set the value of the Total field if not zero,
        // otherwise, blank it out
        getField("TTL." + row).value = total ? total : "";
    Than all you have to place as the custom Validate script of each of your QTY fields is the following:
    calcTotal();
    Also, make sure that you remove any calculations that you've set up on the Calculate tab of each TOTAL field. Now that the total fields do not rely on automatic calculations, it does not matter that the document is missing its field calculation order array, though this bug REALLY needs to be fixed. You should consider reporting it to Adobe. I will report it too.
    Note that this code assumes the QTY and PRICE fields are numeric fields, meaning they will either be blank or contain a valid number. You've ensured this by setting up each with a Format category of Number.

  • Enabling folder for read only additional authorization

    Dear Developers,
    I have a problem with UDO form. On my form I have some folder. When a user has read only authorization for this form and open a record of this object all items on this form disabled. I try to enabling with next code
    oUDOForm.Items.Item("Folder1").Enabled = True
    but without luck.
    Anyone has any idea how can I set enabling folders as well as system form, on which event.
    Thank you and regards,
    Nghia

    Hello,
    Items on UDO generated forms using AutoManaged attributes.
    You can use the SetAutoManagedAttribute to get override the Folder system settings
    oUDOForm.Items.Item("Folder1").SetAutoManagedAttribute (ama_Editable,BoAutoFormMode.afm_All,mvb_True)
    You can also set in different cases: Enable all mode first, then disable in find mode: result Find mode will be disabled, but every other will be enabled.
    oUDOForm.Items.Item("Folder1").SetAutoManagedAttribute (ama_Editable,BoAutoFormMode.afm_all,mvb_True)
    oUDOForm.Items.Item("Folder1").SetAutoManagedAttribute (ama_Editable,BoAutoFormMode.afm_Find,mvb_Fasle)

  • Enable commenting for Reader users

    This question was posted in response to the following article: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/acrobat/pro/using/WS8F17CB6D-B39D-4cf6-8060-7907C1AC53F7.w.htm l

    When trying to share a Reader extended PDF, I get this dialog box: "The document you have chose cannot be sent for shared review or collaboration
    because its current security permissions do not allow modifications. Please choose another document or change this document to allow modifications."
    Does this meant that Reader extended PDFs are only sharable as email attachments and cannot be shared via Acrobat.com? If so, how do I get around
    this? My department has Acrobat X, but most of the organization uses Reader X. We frequently need to share PDFs for review.

  • Remote enabled RFC pattern call in SE38

    Hi Folks,
    Suffering from a simple brain fade.
    I have a custom RFC that has been built in an SRM system.  I wish to call it from a custom program in ECC6.  Is there a specific trick to getting the RFC structure into SE38, or do I have to a) Copy and paste the RFC structure from SRM, or b) type it out manually?
    Cheers,
    Stephen

    i think you should copy and paste the RFC structure

  • Using remote enabled rfcs can we send data from one system to other..

    or do can we do this only b/w twp sap systems.
    why do we use bapis then.
    wat is its difference b/w rfc and bapi.

    Hi Jaya Krishna,
        RFC's can be accessed from non SAP systems also.
    Technically BAPIs are RFcs Function modules only.
    The only differenece is the business utility of them. The BAPIs have a standard Business functionality attached to them, like creation of an Order, Changing a Purchase document etc, Where as normal RFC function modules may or may not have a specific business functionality attached to them.

    Ravi
