Remote Logon: logon screen appears?!

Hello,
From System A I call a remote function module in system B. I always get a logon screen when calling the remote function module in system B.
From System A I call the function module for many systems besides system B in a loop. So if there could appear a logon screen (calling the remote function tool in the system) I would skip it and go to the next system.
I need something like... "If a logon screen appears during remote logon -> Skip calling that function module in that system."
Does anybody know how to solve it?
thx,
holger

You mean the function module.
sorry but i use 4.6C. RFC_LOGIN ist not remote enabled!!!
I can not use it!
What I mean is. The remote function module is on System B, C, D, E, F,...
I call this function module from system A only!
If I call the function module in system B, from system A, a logon screen appears.
I would not like to make any changes in system B,C,D,E,F...concerning SM59...
What happens, If the logon screen in system B appears. Could I catch that message in my report in system A (calling the remote function module in system B)?
So if i execute the report, I need to know whether a logon screen appears...my report has to.
If the logon screen appears, I would skip calling the function module in that system...same for system C,D,E,F,....
thanks a lot,
holger

    Hi,
Are you on SP06? If so, and you are sure that the RFC connections have been set up correctly, as well as all the SPM related configuration at both the GRC and plug-in systems (SPM ID = Service type, SPRO etc), you probably need to consider implementing the following SAP note https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1652880.
This fixed a similar issue I had when we moved to SP06. I understand that this note is delivered as part of SP07 now.
    Hope that helps.

  • CHaRM-Logon Screen appear

    Hi All,
In CHaRM, In Ur.gent Correction, When Import into Production, logon screen appear which should not.
It was not coming before. Not sure why now. I even checked all the authorizations but not able to trace the solutions. Even logon screen appear after "pass correction to Test" which imort to QA system.
Requesting your valuable inputs to solve this problem.
    Thanks
    Ava

    Hi Christian,
Which user you are referring. I created user SOLTMW<SID><client> in both Solution manager client 000 and CHarM Client and managed systems client 000 & working client. Assigned the profiles are S_BDLSM_READ
    S_CSMREG
    S_CUS_CMP
    S_TMW_CREATE
    S_TMW_IMPORT
My understanding is while doing the actions from the Solution Manager CHaRM, supposed to use SOLTMW<SID><client> user and RFC connection SM_<SID>CLNT<client>_TMW (as per Solution Manager EHP1 Security Guide). I am not sure to assign S_CTS_ADMIN. But I will try.
Even I created my own ID in client 000 & working clients on both sides Solution Manager & managed systems roles SAP_S_RFCACL and roles in managed system SAP_CHANGEMAN_ADMIN & profile S_A.SYSTEM & S_TMW_IMPORT.
Even when I run report CRM_SOCM_SERVICE_REPORT to import into Production or Pass connection to test (set next status ) logon screen appears. Even I authorized SAP_ALL, SAP_NEW but still I am seeing the logon screen.
    I will appreciate your help.
    Thanks

  • Logon screen appears but hangs at 'Loading data...'

Hello, I have a problem that I cannot logon to SAP R3. After typing my username and password in the logon screen, the hourglass shows and the message 'Loading data...' appears in the statusbar. Nothing else happens.
When I try to logon for the second time, the popup appears: 'You are already lgoged on.' with the three options. Appearently SAP thinks i am in.
I am logged on from anywhere via a VPN-connection. When I am on the location itself, logging on works fine.
Does anybody recognise this symptom and know the solution?
    Thanks, Tim van Steenbergen

    Hi Tim:
When you are using the VPN connection try the Low Speed Connection option, with this less traffic is sent back and forth.
To enable LSC open your SAP Logon and select your system, then go to Change Item --> Advanced button and check the Low Speed Connection checkbox.
Hope this fix your problem; this could be due to the fact you are using a custom logo in the initial screen of the SAP system.
You can also try to by-pass the initial screen by entering a transaction directly in the command box.
    Best Regards,
    Federico

  • Calling Remote function tool leads always to a logon screen

    Hello,
I run an remote function tool in system A. In System B I run a report calling this function module.
Each time, I execute the report, a remote logon screen appears. It looks the same like the one you logon the system. You have to specifiy client, user and password.
I know one possibilty to avoid this logon screen appeaering.
System B (holding the function module) must declare System A as a trusted system. Thus, the user does not need to logon system B, each time calling the func. module. I processed this in correspondence with the help data, but the screen still appears.
Is there any other possibilty to avoid appearing the logon screen or does anybody know wheter I did something wring??
    thanks, holger

    Hi Holger,
    1. This has to do with tcode SM59 (Maintain RFC Connections)
THE CALLING SYSTEM HAS NOT DEFINED
USER ID / PASSWORD TO LOGON TO THE TARGET SYSTEM.
HENCE, IT SHOWS BLANK LOGIN SCREEN
    2. Under the node RFC Destinations ---> R/3 Connections,
various systems are defined for RFC Purpose.
    3. Lets say ur system(which u want to connect) is PRD.
    4. Double Click PRD and go the the details.
    5. There are 3 Tabs. Goto LOGON/SECURITY TAB.
    6. In the logon information , enter the
       USERID and password and client.
    7. Save.
    Then try your program.
    Hope this helps.

    Amit Mittal.

  • Remote Logon Required in ChaRM

    Hi Everyone-
When processing an urgent correction I am taken to a remote logon screen for my development client when I select actions such as Authorize Change Request, Set to In Development, and even when I try to assign partner functions.
This should be done in the background and appear seamless to the user, however I am still taken to the development logon screen when pulling these actions.
    Other unusual behavior:
1.) At the logon screen the user's password doesn't work.
2.) Exiting the logon screen without typing anything into the password field will still save the transaction when returning to CRMD_ORDER.
Any idea why this happens? Trusted RFCs have been established.

    One more thing:
If the change manager assigns a developer, tester and It Operator and then sets the status to In Development, the system behaves as it should and creates the transport request in the background.
However, if the developer logs in after the partner functions are assigned and sets the status to In Development the remote logon is prompted.
    Any ideas?

  • Bypass Logon screen of the SAP R/3 system where WDA application resides

    Hi,
I created an application in WDA. I have another appplication in WDJ. On one of the views of WDJ application, I created a link to URL UI elem and provided WDA application's URL to it as a reference. When I click on the link to URL,  I expect that WDA should launch. But instead a logon screen appears. This logon screen is the logon screen of the SAP R/3 server in which I created the WDA application.
I want to bypass this logon screen. how do i do this ?
    Regards
    seventyros

For that you need to establish the SSO between the R/3 system and the JAVA system.
you can import the sso ticket form key store and then put it in abap stack..
or one more method is to give hardcoded user id and password in SICF for the web dynpro application.
however this approach is not recommended.

  • Finger Print reader does not link to Win7 Logon Screen

    Win7 Ultimate 64 bit
    FingerPrint software 5.9.4
Biometric link to windows Logon accepted
    MS Server domain client
At system boot, the logon screen appears and the fingerprint light is "on". I scan my finger, the light blinks once and no submission of the saved Windows password to the logon window. I must key in password.
Lenovo support asked me to uninstall software, BIOS clear saved finger prints then re-install (and re-register). I have done this twice with no change.
This was working until I had to break the domain connection (server change) and re connect to the domain with the same logon/password. It was at this time that the finger print reader stopped passing the biometric password to the OS.
Any thoughts on how to re-connect reader to logon?
    Solved!

This was working until I had to break the domain connection (server change) and re connect to the domain with the same logon/password. It was at this time that the finger print reader stopped passing the biometric password to the OS.
Any thoughts on how to re-connect reader to logon?
I am using 5.9.4 with no problem, although I seem to recall having to go into the Fingerprint software and make some innocuous setting change, then change it back.  But I was changing a lot of things at the time and don't know for sure if that had any effect.
Are you able to log onto the domain by manually entering your password?  If not, may need to re-add the computer to the domain.

  • DATABASE LOGON SCREEN

Whenever I run the test report and don;t fill in the USERID parameter before I click SUBMIT, the database logon screen appears prompting me to enter the db info..but when I enter the info and click SUBMIT, the same screen keeps reappearing with the fields cleared out...any ideas why this is happening?

THanks for the replies...however, database startup is not the problem since it works for the forms server. It is only in reports that I have this problem. If I enter the db info in the html form, it works fine. But if I dont, the db logon screen appears prompting me to enter the db info and everytime I enter in the info and click RUN FORM, the same db logon screen keeps coming back...any other ideas?

  • CProjects - How to get the logon screen?

    Hello!
I've started the cProjects Web-Dynpro Application in our future production system for the first time. The strange thing is that the logon screen doesn't appear (I've got "logged in" as Anonymous ), althougth in development system the logon screen appears and works!
I use the SICF-Path /default_host/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/cprojects; login procedure is in both systems 'Standard' with no logon data.
    I appreciate any advice!
    Regards
    Wolfgang

    Hi Neil!
In this case a SAP-user account was definied in the logon data section of the root SICF-node 'default_host'. This overruled the logon data configuration of the cprojects node. So check if a superior node of cprojects contains logon data!

  • On Internet 9i forms asking  Logon screen

    Hi
If i set my userid , password in the formsweb.config file and run it on intranet then they are working fine but if i try to browse from internet then a logon screen appears asking userid and password for each form although i have already wrote in the formsweb.config file .
    Kindly someone help me.
    Thanks

Actually, we don't want all users to login as the same user. They will each get several RAD's to different databases with different users. The forms-level security was based on the database user before and we want to keep it like that for now.
We already created a procedure that retrieves the available RAD's of the logged in user using dbms_ldap. The user can then choose the config (and therefor RAD) he wants to connect with.
All this seems to work, just the forms logon screen keeps on appearing on startup. Even when we call the application like this, the logon screen is still shown with empty fields:
    https://machine.domain/forms/frmservlet?form=test.fmx&userid=user/pw@db

  • Logon screen during transport of a change request

    Hi Gurus,
When I have do a transport of a change request from our development system to our quality system some users get a logon screen and some users not.
I think it's because of some authorization.
Can anybody tell me which role I need ??
    GJ

    Hi
some users have permission to import transports (Auth object S_CTS_ADMI) in the target client.
If another user has no authorization, charm tries to import via client 000 -> logon screen appears if current user has no permission to logon via trusted rfc to client 000
Another possibility is to give user TMSADM the authorization to import in client 000. So all users can import.

  • Mountain Lion -- buggy logon screen resolution

    Mac OS v10.8.2
Have any of you experinced buggy logon screen resolution?  I have attached some pictures below.  When I wake up my iMac from sleep, a logon screen comes up but from time to time it's gets buggy.
When buggy happens, all I see is my Desktop background, but there is no logon screen.  As I start moving the mouse icon, it begins to erase the desktop background and logon screen appear from behind.  The more I move the mouse, the more I see it.  After I click a username, then enters the password... everything is normal again.  I wonder if this is known issue.
(I have marked out the usernames for my privacy)

    Hello,
To post pics you need to use the tiny Camera icon in a reply to upload them... drag & drop will disappear as soon as you post.
    Resolution
Move the mouse or trackpad cursor over the center area of the login window so you can see the user icons. Click on the icon of the user that you would like to login as, type in the user's password, and press Return.
If the login window is configured to show only the name and password fields, type in the user's name and password into the fields, and press Return (even if you cannot see the rest of the login window).
    Additional Information
This issue will not occur if the display is not sleeping when the account is logged out. Use the steps below to confirm that the account is not configured to log out automatically while the display is sleeping:
Open System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General.  Click the padlock to unlock the preference pane and enter your admin password. Click the Advanced button at the bottom, then see if the option "Log out after N minutes of inactivity" (where N is the number of minutes) is enabled.
Open System Preferences > Energy Saver and configure Display Sleep to occur after the account is logged out, by dragging the slider to a number of minutes that is greater than N was set to in the previous step.
Important: If automatic log out is not needed, disable "Log out after Nminutes of inactivity" in System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General. This will also prevent the issue.

  • Prompting logon screen in remote system..

    Hi All,
I have developed a RFC function module in B system and when i call this RFC function module from A system (for displaying a ALV report with the data fetched from B system), to my surprise it is prompting the logon screen of B system for entering the details, when we enter the logon details and press enter, then automatically it is taking us back to A system and displaying the report.
Now the problem is can we get the data from B system and display the report in A with out prompting the logon screen of B system.
    Thank you in advance.
    Regards,
    Venu Gudala.

    Hi,
Go to SM59 transaction and enter the RFC destination of system B
and then go to the second tab i.e. logon/security and then enter the client, user and password details and then save it.
then check if its working fine....
