RemoteApp Causing Flickering Issues.

I am working on testing for future migration from a Terminal Server environment a full Published Desktop set up using RD Web Access in a Server 2012.
I am currently experiencing an issue with a program that once it launches, it is causing a type of screen flicker. Now the flicker is not automatic, in fact the flicker only occurs when you click on the actual program itself within the window it runs
on. It then causes the background of your desktop to black out, and in some cases become an epileptics worst nightmare.
All other applications run fine no problems, it is just this one program that is having an issue. The only thing that I know of that separates this application from the rest is that it is a .Net ran program. This application runs from a TS environment
with no problems and runs as a Published app currently from one of our 2008 R2 servers without a problem. But from this 2012 server this application has not been friendly.
My test environment includes the following: All VM servers.
1 Connection Broker Server
1 Web Access Server
2 Session Host Servers
Testing RDWeb applications from a Windows 8 Pro Client and a Windows 7 SP1 client
Both Clients experiencing the flicker problem.
I have scoured for answers for several days, with trying different options including trying to make tweeks to Windows experience, RemoteFX and other things to see if I can find a possible solution, so far I am coming up empty so I am trying to reach out
to the community to see if anyone has ran across this before or would be able to help me find a possible solution to this problem.

We have some issues with published remoteapp. It seems like it is the same issue as described in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2925336/en.
My problem is that our RDSH Server is Windows Server 2012 R2 therefore my question is if there is a fix also available for this version?
The issue seems to be independent of client - same behavior was noticed on windows 7, windows 8 and windows 8.1.

Flickering Issue with RGB Curves in Adobe Premiere CC (2014) version

I've been an Adobe Premiere user since Premiere 6.5 and have never encountered any serious issues with the software. However in this most recent Creative Cloud update I am have a flickering issue when using RGB Curves, the color correction effect I use most often. When the effect is applied, there seems to be a shift in the shadows between a "crushed" black and a "flat, or faded" black every other frame. I've been using this latest update for about a week and haven't had any other issues aside from this one.
Unfortunately this is huge issue at the moment due to a deadline I am facing in which RGB Curves has been used as the primary color correction tool on the entire project (multiple episodes). I would simply revert to a previous version of CC but I know that the new updates are never backwards compatible. Since the project has been saved in the CC (2014) update, reverting to previous software versions would be impossible. I am currently exploring exporting the XML from the CC (2014) projects and importing it into a previous version of the software.
Please let me know if anyone out there is experiencing any similar issues or if there are any suggestions on how to solve this issue. Thanks!

I am experiencing flickering issues as well. However my issues are with the Fast Color Corrector and the Three Way Color Corrector. It seems as if the color correction tools are causing intermittent flickering on some people's systems.
Additionally when I converted some old PPCC 7.2.2 projects which had the Three Way Color Corrector applied, some clips in sequences would come up as a green screen in the program monitor. If I turned the TWCC off the footage would display correctly in the program window. If I turn the TWCC back on it would display the green screen again.
I haven't found a solution to the flickering but to solve the green screen issue I have to remove the effect, then re apply it. I guess for whatever reason, the 2014 version of PP has issues with 7.2.2 projects where the TWCC was applied.
I'm hoping Adobe will address this soon with an update for the various bugs that have been reported.

Error message is not telling which field causing the issue!

I am developing the Adobe Interactive Form and launching this form from WebDynPro ABAP application, fine.
This form has tonns of dropdown fields, mandatory fields, greyed out fields. Fine.
I am filling the list the drop-down fields from webdynpro ABAP, but, i am filling list for only 80% of the drop-down fields, rest 20 % is not filling at all (bcz, business want to have those 20% dropd-owns on the form by thinking going further they require, this moment they dont need so they dont want to fill the lists)
Now the form is launching on the browser, fine. But when user submits it i am getting the below erro:
The Entered Value Is Not on the List of Valid Values. (I am guessing this error is talking about the DROPDOWN fields only)
I hv tonns of drop-down fields, so, its very difficult for me to go and trace each and every drop-down fielld!! But, i checked all the populated/entered values in the drop-down fields, they are all fine. Sone dropd-down fields are GREYED OUT, they are defaulted from webdynpro ABAP
Pls. let me know How can know which field/drop-down is causing this issue? Wht are the possible causes for this error? Error is not telling which fields is making issue?
How can i trace and how can i fix it, pls. let me know

But, as of my knowledge every thing (case sensitive, list box entries) are fine, not sure, why am getting this error! I will double chk again.
But, thing is.... actually, i have 4 pages, depending on the logged in user, i will HIDE the pages (say, for me the 3 rd page will be hidden), i am hiding the pages by using JavaScript in the form.
So, this error is not coming if i execute/launch all the 4 pages, but, its coming if i hide any page for any user!!
By chance, do we debug to figure out which FIELD is CAUSING issue/this error?
From where this message is coming, i mean, from the SAP's JAVA stack? Wht is the message ID and #?
or is it Adobe's/Form's error?

I have the mini DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI Adapter firmware 1.03 and I still have massive screen flickering issues on a Mac Mini 2012.
I am using a Dell 30" monitor (it's the Samsung screen just rebranded) connected to a WD 4TB Thunderbolt drive connected to the Mac Mini.
The screen is usable for the most part when I've just started the computer (although today I started having issues after a fresh restart) but if even just the screen goes to sleep, or the computer goes to sleep and I wake it later, I start to have massive flickering to black and occasionally to snow.
The effect seems to be more likely to arise when I'm on heavy graphics-intensive websites or programs (eg, Tumblr feed with lots of GIF images or working in Adobe Premiere), but once it starts shutting down those programs has no effect, the screen keeps flickering wildly.
The problem improved after the 1.03 firmware upgrade (for a while it was flickering uncontrollably ALL the time and was virtually unusable) but it has not gone away.
Any suggestions would be very welcome, either for how to fix this issue or how to get Apple to, you know, let me TELL THEM that their adapter firmware fix has NOT solved the issue, since my phone support has expired. :/

I have a new Mini DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI Adapter to allow my original Apple 30" Cinema Display to connect to the new Mac Pro. Shipped straight from Apple, it is firmware version 1.03. I've never had flickering issues, but the display will often go black (possibly after a screen power save) and not come back. when this happens I am still able to connect to and use the Mac via remote connection. But the only way to get the screen back is either to unplug the adapter and plug it back in to the Mac, or to shut down and power up the Mac. This may be a separate issue, so I'll also post it standalone...

My macbook pro keeps freezing and shutting off when I am browsing the web on Safari. How can I figure out what is causing this issue?

For the past few weeks my computer will slow down when I have been on Safari for awhile, then freeze, and then just go black. I have to press the power button and then it goes to a black screen with the apple logo and a loading bar underneath when it reboots. I'm not sure what is causing the issue, but on my previous mac it would have an error message if something like this happened that I could submit. Any suggestions of where to start to solve this issue?

These instructions must be carried out as an administrator. If you have only one user account, you are the administrator.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Step 1
For this step, the title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select
          SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages
from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
          View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar at the top of the screen.
In the top right corner of the Console window, there's a search box labeled Filter. Initially the words "String Matching" are shown in that box. Enter "BOOT_TIME" (without the quotes.)
Each message in the log begins with the date and time when it was entered. Select the BOOT_TIME log message that corresponds to the last boot time when you had the problem. Now clear the search box to reveal all messages. Select the ones logged before the boot, during the time something abnormal was happening. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.
For example, if the system was unresponsive or was failing to shut down for three minutes before you forced a restart, post the messages timestamped within three minutes before the boot time, not after. Please include the BOOT_TIME message at the end of the log extract—not at the beginning.
If there are long runs of repeated messages, please post only one example of each. Don’t post many repetitions of the same message.
When posting a log extract, be selective. A few dozen lines are almost always more than enough.
Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.
Please don't indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Please don't post screenshots of log messages—post the text.
Step 2
In the Console window, select
          DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION ▹ System Diagnostic Reports
(not Diagnostic and Usage Messages) from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
          View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar.
There is a disclosure triangle to the left of the list item. If the triangle is pointing to the right, click it so that it points down. You'll see a list of reports. A crash report has a name that begins with the name of the crashed process and ends in ".crash". A panic report has a name that begins with "Kernel" and ends in ".panic". A shutdown stall report has a name that ends in ".shutdownstall". Select the most recent of each, if any. The contents of the report will appear on the right. Use copy and paste to post the entire contents—the text, not a screenshot. It's possible that none of these reports exists.
I know the report is long, maybe several hundred lines. Please post all of it anyway.
If you don't see any reports listed, but you know there was a crash or panic, you may have chosen Diagnostic and Usage Messages from the log list. Choose DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION instead.
In the interest of privacy, I suggest that, before posting, you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if it’s present (it may not be.)
Please don’t post other kinds of diagnostic report—they're very long and rarely helpful.

Could the replacement of a fan on a graphics card cause OS issues?

OK I suppose it's a bonafide long shot that my replacing of an intermittently malfunctioning fan on a graphics card could cause OS issues, but I've had something immediately crop up after the replacement (crippling issues with Logic's 32-bit audio unit bridge), and they effect older projects that were previously stable, so I figured I'd ask for the heckuvit.
Repairing permissions hasn't helped - I'm just starting to ponder whether to reset PRAM, reset SMC, boot from an HD clone, try reinstalling the old fan, etc., in order to figure out the problem....
BTW - the graphics card is an Nvidia GT120.

Go out and buy an Apple ATI 5770.
What requirements does Logic have for video, and are you still on 10.6.8?
The GT120 is 512MB but low-end card.
If you do need more performance:
SHOOTOUT WITH THE 'SHARKS': Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 for Mac versus really fast alternate GPUs

My HDMI adaptor is constantly flickering! Please help! My hdmi adaptor used to work fine, I have tried different adaptors, different displays different hdmi cables with no luck, my brothers macbook still works fine! please help thanks. I have searched for a firmware update but Im not good at navigating around this site. dont seem to be having any luck!

I've got one question, regarding this statement,
But when the edited file is exported and viewd on TV screen, I notice flickering issues when we have fast movement camera or people.
How are you displaying the AV on the TV? Are you going to a DVD/BD, or is the TV hooked up to the computer?
There might be some Interlacing issues, and some improvement might be possible, but like John T. states, MPEG is not an ideal source to begin with, due to the heavy compression. If you then go to DVD, you are compressing yet again, and what you see is an artifact of the multiple compression used.

HT4528 flickering issues

i am having flickering issues with my screen lately and i adjusted the brightness and have done many resets and i cant get it to stop. there is also blurring of lines from white lettering to dark screen. does anyone know a fix for this issue?

Display image issues
This can include bright or dark pixels, lines in video, or sections of video missing.
1. Try turning iPhone off and then on again.
2. Verify the issue is not content related, by viewing different content.
3. If the image is too dark, adjust the brightness. In General Settings choose Brightness and Wallpaper and slide the slider.
My issue is still not resolved. What do I do next?

Flickering issue with interactive buttons

Hi all,
I have an interactive pdf file that is 40 pages long. I have some navigation buttons on each page, which are white triangluar shaped arrows, and they contain black rollover and click states.
I am finding however that the buttons states (rollover) seem to flicker randomly on and off when the cursor is hovered over the button. It looks very buggy. It's simply meant to turn black, and stay black when the cursor is on the button.
Has anyone experienced this and know of a way that I can solve this flickering issue? It's driving me totally crazy and is the last remaining issue preventing me from finishing this project and being able to distribute the file.
I know I can just disable thje rollovers, however we need them for usability purposes.
Any feedback or guidance is appreciated.

I agree Bob's responses seem unnecessarily hostile. This is a huge problem! I just purchases CD 5.5 design premium, paid @ $700.00 for the upgrade and all of the buttons and interactives in a 4-month long project were operating just fine. When I ran the Acrobat update and tried to do my latest test, all of the buttons are flickering, and I cannot adequately test my 48 page interactive pdf! I have spent months on this project, it is now due on tuesday (Oct 4th), and at the eleventh hour, I am stuck with buggy product UPDATE of all things. Why? this is absolutely unconscionable for Adobe to let a bug like this go through. I am pulling my hair out. Wish I could UN update. Steve, you seem to be very helpful on this community - any ideas? HELP!

CS 5.5 coexist with CS 6.0 causes FrameMaker issue - can't import SVG file!

Due to some project demands, we installed Adobe CS back to 5.5 on a computer which has CS6.0 already installed. After the installation, everything worked in normal except one problem - we could not import SVG into FM file for all versions of FrameMaker on this computer.
Does the coexistence of CS 5.5 and 6.0 cause this issue? Or can CS 5.5 coexist with CS6.0 on a same machine? or any other reasons? Please comments!

Two Fx 4 windows open at the same time causes usability issues

When I load two instances of Firefox, I get multiple issues with the second instance usability, display, and hot keys.
The issues are as follows:
# Menubar/Toolbar appear differently
# Back/Forward buttons do not work
# F-Keys no longer Function
# Favicons show old, cached icons
Please see screen grab of my two monitors with two instances of Fx 4 open, but the I played with my toolbar settings to get it to look somewhat ok.

This issue was not happening with Fx 3.x.x.
I am using a custom Persona, but I have changed the Persona a few times and I still get the same result.
I've removed all incompatible extensions and upgraded all the ones that needed upgrading.
Not sure what the issue is here, but would love to troubleshoot it down if possible. Please let me know if any other info is required!

Exact same issue here. Also, the add-on manger will not launch.
I thought it might be an add-on causing these issues, but only one out of my ten or so addons work in FF4, and I disabled it with no success.
This is a huge issue for me. I attempted to uninstall FF4 and go back to FF3 but I can't find an install file for FF3.
