RemoteApp Icons on RD Web

Hi All,
I'm currently using a Server 2008 R2 Gateway solution.
I have one server acting as RD Web / RD Gateway (I'll refer to it as RDWG), and a second server acting as the RD Connection Broker (RDCB).
Originally the RDCB role was on the same server as RDWG, did some testing and it worked fine, and decided to move the RDCB to a seperate server.
Both servers are members of eachother's TS Web Access Group, and both servers are members of TS Web Access on each Session Host.
The Session Broker Computers group on RDCB is populated with multiple session hosts.
I can publish an application as a remoteapp without incident, but its not publishing the icon set for each application. Applications that were tested when all roles were on the same server, are still shown under C:\Windows\Web\RDWeb\Pages\rdp on the RDWG.
But new applications aren't generating anything in this path.
Instead the RD Web is just using a default RemoteApp icon.

According to your description, this issue could be caused by some cache files which are previously downloaded on the Terminal server.
Please try deleting the cache files on the web server C:\Windows\Web\RDWeb\Pages\rdp (default location). Delete all files in there and then try
accessing the website again. This will force the web server to refetch all settings from the app server or connection broker.

Cannot See Wait Icon/Message in Web Report

Hi,
When I run my Web Report, it's taking few seconds to load. In the meantime, it is showing me neither the dialog "Wait the request is being processed!" nor the wait icon.
I understood from the forums that in the BW style sheet the class "SAPBEXPopUp" holds this function and the icon is stored in the MIME repository at /sap/bw/BeX/Icons/loading.gif
How could I add this in my Web template? Do I need to edit the html code? Or is there any web item which helps?
In my template, I just used the table web item and attached a custom query to it.

for setting the cursor to the hourglass use this code in your HTML..
document.form.cursor = 'wait';
as for the dialog , it is a javascript snippet which comes with BW ..
try opening the loading.gif through the MIME reporsitory (SE80) and check if it is active ...
am not sure if there is any setting for the same..

HT1688 On my iphone 4 below the search window, I have three greyed out safari icons with different web links attached

I have a iPhone 4 8GB. I have three greyed out safari icons that doesn't say safari but a web link. It's like a bookmark to your homepage but not in your homepage. I noticed it when I deleted all my web pages and on that one web page where it says "search or type in a address" right below it where it's just all white, there's three grey looking safari icons with each one with a different web site that's attached to it. When I tap on it it goes to a specific website. For ex one if them says www.longchamp.com, the other macys.com. There's no way to delete it. The wired thing is each one in color it like three shades of grey . Light, med and darker grey icons. When I hold down the icon you can move it around but can't delete, nothing just nothing. It's been there for the longest time I can remember. Do you know what this is? I took a pic of it. I don't know how to attach it to this discussion. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

I seem to have fixed it by putting <div class="clearfloat"></div> after the navigation bar?

App store icon gone missing/Web Content Filter - Apple Configurator

I am using Apple Configurator to manage the iPads at my school. I changed the settings on my school's profile, within Apple Configurator, so that the App store was not available. The App store icon disappeared and all was good. I decided to change the settings back, to allow the App store, saved the settings and refreshed a group of iPads. The App store icon is still missing and it doesn't appear that my new settings have been applied. I quit Configurator and tried again, but no success. I am running Configurator 1.5 and the ipads are running iOS 7.1.
Also, I have unchecked the "Allow use of You Tube" button because I want You Tube disabled, but Configurator still allows the use of You Tube through Safari. Is there any way to disable the use of You Tube without using the ridiculous "Web Content Filter", that when activated, limits adult content (good), which seems to include a lot of valuable educational sites (bad)? To me the only other option available seems to be to tick "Specific Websites Only" and spend the next year typing in all the possible sites that might have educational merit, ergo, my use of the word 'ridiculous'. Is there something I am missing?

What do the icons by .Mac Web Gallery items mean in iPhoto '08?

Can anyone point me to a legend that identifies the various icons that appear next to the Web Gallery entries? Some of them I can figure out like the one that means it's publishing but the others are a mystery.
What do those freaking things mean?

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. Are you referring to the icons in iPhoto or in the galleries when they are online? In iPhoto there's only the icon that's next to the gallery name on the right. Of course there's the gallery's icon, the round blue thingybob ( ) to the left.
If you're referring to the icons at the top and bottom of a gallery online they are pretty much self explanatory as they also have text labels. If not those, which?

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 08 libraries. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

Change WEBLOC ICONS to show Web ICONS visited

On the last update for Yosemite, all my web icons which I dragged from my address bar to desktop, now show the name WEBLOC instead of the web address Icon shown as before. My wifes new apple does the same thing. How can we get this stopped and when we drag an address from
the address bar to desktop, it will show the web icon visiting and saving to desktop. Would like it to do it automaticaly ,like it did before this update??

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in Full Screen mode with all toolbars hidden.
* Press F11 to toggle full screen mode (Firefox/File > Full Screen)
If the menu bar is hidden then press the F10 key or hold down the Alt key, that should make the menu bar appear.
Make sure that toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible: "View > Toolbars"
* If items are missing then open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize" or via "Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout" (Linux, Windows)
* If a missing item is in the toolbar palette then drag it back from the Customize window on the toolbar
* If you do not see an item on a toolbar and in the toolbar palette then click the "Restore Default Set" button to restore the default toolbar set up.

Icons on a web form

I am having trouble getting the icon pictures to show up on a web form. After perusing the discussion forums on this problem, here is what I have done:
Win2000 running Apache (from the Oracle 8i installation CD)
I edited the registry.dat file and added the following:
default.icons.iconpath=/dev60icons
I edited the httpd.conf file for apache and added the following:
Alias /dev60icons "c:\oracle\dev6\forms60\server"
In the Win2k registry I added the following:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> ORACLE -> HOME1
UI_ICON = c:\oracle\dev6\forms60\server
In the formsweb.cfg file I have modified the following:
IE50=native
All of my icons are in both ICO and GIF formats in this directory.
When I run the form using the Forms6i runtime, the icons show up just fine.
Using the web browser, I can surf to http://my.web.server/dev60icons/cancel01.gif and the file shows up just fine.
I have tried just about everything.
What am I doing wrong?

Well, it turns out all of the entries to the formsweb.cfg, httpd.conf and to the registry.dat files were fine. (you don't need the "/" at the end of the alias). What it turns out to be is that the program I was using to convert the ICO file to a GIF file did not put a global colormap into the GIF file. Once I corrected that (using Paint Shop Pro) the icons showed up just fine.

Changing the icon for saved Web links.

Im trying out different forum topics to see if anyone can help and I thought this would be a cool thing to do and might be doable with an applescript.
I save a lot of web address as files to go back to later and I find the default @ icon for firefox or the blank icon for safari pretty appalling. I was wondering if there was a way to change the icon so that when ever I save a new link file it would use the new icon. I was thinking about just an icon that has the Firefox, safari, chrome logo would be good or even better a little picture preview of the web page its self. Any help on this little idea I have is very appreciated

I completely understand a straight up no answer to this. I have no idea how applescript works. I have used it very few times.

I tried this AppleScript but it was not working. Is there something that I need to check.
I had a few web link files in a folder and the script RAN the INFO window popped up but nothing changed.
This would be a valuable tool for me an my students,

How to make the push buttons Iconic in the web

hai Folks,
I deploying my form on the web but I am unable to view the
buttons which are made iconic. I used the gif files as iconic,
but I dont get the icon in the button when i deploy on the web.

You need to set the virtaul path of the directory that
containsthe gif filles in the listener configuration
example n:\myapps\gif\ /web_gifs/
then in the registry of the application server
for FORMS50_PATH add n:\myapps\gif

On desktop almost all icons are Mozilla icons. How do i change them to the icons of the web sites?

When i place web sites on my desk top, very few of them keep the original web site icon. They change to the Mozilla icon, the globe with the fox wrapped around it.
How do i change these back to the web site icons?

You can't and that is very wasteful of resources, good thing computer now have a lot more storage and memory. That used to be something that slowed down system startup.
I just have applications in the Start, desktop, and quick launch.

Suggest you make them keyworded bookmark shortcuts then you can call them up from Firefox with a name you assign yourself typically 1-7 characters, could be all initials in some cases, words, or anything.

I keep most of my keyword shortcuts in one folder "K" on my bookmarks toolbar, and the keyword is at the beginning of the title and sorted on the title so they are sorted on the keyword. The current folder actually has a distribution date on it so it isn't as short a name as I had intended. The "AwesomeBar" feature helps me to remember one if I forget it.

Iconic Buttons on Web

Hi,
I am having a problem with Oracle Forms 6i Iconic Buttons on the web. The icons are appearing OK. But, the icons are not centred in the middle of the buttons. I have tried re-sizing the buttons, but they still appear off to the right.
Any thoughts, you help would be appreciated!

Make sure that you use .gif files and that the files in your UI_ICON (registry) path are the correct gifs. Also, make sure that FORMS60_OUTPUT and FORMS60_MAPPING (registry) paths are correct.
Finally, check the setting for clientDPI in your formsweb.cfg file. You may want to play with this a little.

Where does firefox get the icons for a web page from to display the page in the aps tab

I notice some web pages when pinned to the apps tab have an icon that reflects their organistation and others just have a blank page Icon. Where does firefox read the icon from i would like to know so when i do a web page I can include an icon
