hey guys,i wanna ask,my left side screen is not working and i just installed ios7,it needs to connect to wifi to set/configure everything in but i cant type the wifi password due to my left side screen is not working.is it possible for me to remotely control my iphone from pc without jailbreak and PERMISSION(normally yes option is on the left side) since my left screen is dead.

I know the importance of saving and updating your contacts. What type of phone do you have? If you are using Backup Assistant, you have the ability to sync the contacts between your laptop and phone. You will also be able to see if all your contacts are stored on the online portion of the application versus the phone itself. The contacts should be the same for both online and the phone.

Verizon Remote Control iPhone App will not accept my logon credentials

I downloaded the Verizon Remote Control iPhone App - but it doesn't accept my username/password. The same app has a Support section and that section does accept my username/password.
Any advice?

I'am investigating a way to remotely control and solve basic problems of iPhone and iPad's. As an enterprise company we have over 2000 iPhones and iPads in our corporate and we want our help desk professionals be able to connect these type of mobiles and help staff over the phone.

No. There is no way to do so. Apps would not have access to the necessary APIs to do so as it would create a serious security risk.

Control iPhone from PC?

Is there any tool that lets you control your iPhone from a PC? I have a friend who recently purchased an iPhone but lives far away and needs help setting up a few things.
I was thinking if there was something you could use to show the screen and control the iPhone from a PC so I could a Remote Assistance session.

Remote control iPhone 4 via Windows Laptop/Desktop

Hello,
I was wodnering if there was a way to remotely control my iPhone via my Windows Laptop? My speaker system is across the room which is hooked up to my iPhone, so everytime I want to change to a specific song or skip a song, I would have to get up and manually change it.
I have seen apps in the store that allow you use the iPhone control another apple device, or use your iPhone as the remote. However in this case, I want to use my computer as the remote.
Anyone have any ideas or tips? Thanks in advance.

Gave it a look, tried all the troubleshooting. My IP addresses are the same, so now I really don't understand. I'm just super confused. If it hadn't ever worked, I would just write it off as my university network being too strict... but now that it has worked once and really... nothing changed... I am just very confused.

Remote controlling iphone

Is it possible for me to send data, photos etc. to an iphone where the person who has the iphone can see the data, photos etc appear on their screen, but the data, photos etc. automatically appears on the iphone screen? The recipient of my data, photos etc. would NOT be required to touch the iphone screen (to "open" up my data, photos etc). The recipient would only be able to see what I send them and would not have any control over what I send them.

no. once paired it will stay paired. you just join your network, and connect to the content on your TV.

App remotely control presentation from iPhone

I'm trying to build a simple app similar to the "Remote" app. Basically, it can connect via WiFi to a Mac and controls the presentation (MS Powerpoint 2008) on it, like going to the next or the previous slide. Also, there would be a "server" running on the Mac that can talk to the iPhone app, which acts as client. Can anyone give me some pointers on how the client and server may be built? How to remotely control objects from transport request

Hi all,
I have to perform some task but can't find the way to get it done. What I have to do is:
a) get list of transport requests for given SAP system (i.e. its import queue)
b) let the user choose transport requests from the list
c) get list of all objects from chosen transport requests
d) control these objects in source and destination (from point a) ) SAP system.
Points a) to c) are easy and already done (using appropriate function modules and ALV objects). But I have no idea how to do things from point d). Control means comparison of dates (i.e. last modified) of objects in source and destination SAP system. The main goal of this approach is to avoid transportation of older objects from source system (DEV) and overwritting newer versions of the objects in destination system (PRD). I tried to use SAP versioning system to check versions remotely (the same way as it can be done from standard SAP transactions, e.g. SE38 for program source) with RFC and it worked fine (see function module SVRS_DISPLAY_REMOTE_DIR). But what about other objects not covered with versioning system? There are 932 objects that can be transported (at least TR_OBJECT_TABLE function module says so). Versions management system covers about 30 (program source, function module, object methods, table definitions, lock objects, and so on) of them. The problem is with the rest (900 transportable objects).
How can I check their dates remotely in source and destination SAP system. Any clues? Manual retrieval of the information about dates of 900 various SAP elements must be very difficult (if possible at all) because so many objects must be spreaded out in many tables. Is there any universal or standard way (report, RFC function module) to get required information?

Hi
There is no automatic way to delete the unnecessary objects from the transport reqeust.
1. Go to Tcode se09 and select the request which contains the unnecessary objects.
2. Select the unnecessary objects and delete manually.
Also if you want to delete the entire request then unlock the request in the tcode SE03 and then delete the request completely.
Also note that if the request is released then you will not be able to delete the objects in that request.

Does anyone know if Mac is in the works for being able to "customize" the iPhone more, (like ringtones, text tones, voicemail tones, custom icons, animations and especially themes...) Something like what "Plazmic" is for Blackberry.
I've looked into 'jailbreak' and other programs used with Cydia and such and it's nothing but a confusing mess for me... LOL!

Only ringtones are customizable on the iPhone. None of the others you mentioned can be changed/customized without permanently voiding the warranty and AppleCare.

Remote Control MBP from Desktop

How do I set up my MBP so that I can login and access it remotely? I thought there was a program to do this in utilities but now I don't see it.

I found the solution - APP called AIR BEAM - about $4 app store iTunes. Be sure to view all the setting choices for how you want to use it as there are a few you will not need and will disable. I did not need sound or motion sensing but did want to store on iPAD (choose transmit feature as clip will be on iPhone otherwise).

I've already tried using RecordMyScreen but whenever I open it it just turns black and won't work. I also cannot change my year to 2012. Reflector isn't an option either, because I want to find a free method. Does anyone know any ways to record my screen without using those two? I haven't been able to find any other solutions. If you have one, I'd be really grateful if you let me know! :)

There are no apps that can record your screen like you want. Using Reflector or a similar app is the only option available.
