Remotely query serial number?

Is there any way to remotely determine the serial number of a Linksys managed switch, such as an SRW208?
I performed an snmpwalk of one, but didn't find anything in it that looked like the serial number.

Apple Remote Desktop serial number never memorized

I just installed Apple Remote Desktop on a new computer.
Here are my versions:
– MacOS X 10.6.4;
– ARD 3.3.2.
Everytime I start ARD,
my "Name:" and "Organization:"
fields are as correctly filled as I did it on the first
time.
But the field "Serial Number:" is empty, when I enter it
correctly everytime.
Where is this useless checking coming from?
How may I get rid of such a checking window?

I have Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro on my desktop. Can I also load into onto my laptop for working remotely with the same serial number?

I use Adobe Pro on my desktop daily at the office and now will be handling work remotely from a laptop as well. Adobe Pro is essential for my work (bates stamping, redaction, advanced editing, etc). Can I use the same serial number and installation disc to load this on my laptop? There are no instructions that speak to this issue and I know other programs I have installed provided for both desktop and laptop access. It isn't like I am giving use of this product to another user or pirating it, so I can't foresee an issue. Any information is much appreciated. Thank you!

Adobe End User License Agreement entitles you to install a singe retail license on 2 computers at any instance.
So you can load Acrobat 9 license on the other computer too.

Apple Remote Desktop Requiring Serial Number Each Time....

Apple Remote Desktop Admin has suddenly started asking for the serial number every time it is launched. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling - same thing. Last time this happened it required a full reimage of my Mac to get it to work again. This is getting a bit ridiculous. I am running ARA 3.2.2 and Mac OS X 10.5.6. FYI my uninstall was by the book as per Apple's documentation:
rm -rf /var/db/RemoteManagement
rm /Library/Preferences/com.apple.RemoteDesktop.plist
rm ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.RemoteDesktop.plist
rm -r /Library/Application Support/Apple/Remote Desktop/

Has anyone else had such a problem with the current version of ARD?

hd/Library/Preferences folder had read only privs for Amin user..

Serial Number in Rollup Query

Hi All
I want to create Serial Number(running number like 1,2,3...)
in Rollup Query. But my problem is,I want to create running number all rows except for Toatl row.
EX:
select COMPANY,DEPT,SUM(SALARY) from emp
GROUP BY ROLLUP(COMPANY_NAME,DEPT)
Expected O/P :
SL.No     COMPANY     DEPT     SALARY

So you need to create a Number Range Object (tr SNRO), this create a object like ZNUM.
then, each time you need insert a new record to table only call this FM:
CALL FUNCTION 'NUMBER_GET_NEXT'
    EXPORTING
      nr_range_nr             = '01'
      object                  = 'ZNUM'
    IMPORTING
      number                  = itab-field
    EXCEPTIONS
      interval_not_found      = 1
      number_range_not_intern = 2

Currently I'm in my trainingperiod and I'm busy with a query to search on serialnumbers to find the needed info with it. Currently I have the next code:
SELECT DISTINCT T1.IntrSerial, T1.ItemCode, T1.ItemName, T1.WhsCode, T1.CardName, T3.CardName
FROM OSRI T1, INV1 T2, OINV T3, SRI1 T4, OCRD T5
WHERE T1.ItemCode = T2.ItemCode

(SELECT IntrSerial
FROM OSRI T1
WHERE T1.IntrSerial = 'm54275f00075' )
'm54275f00075' = a serial number so that's something you don't have to add. I added that line for my own help so I don't have to type a serialnumber each time. To search I use this line: WHERE T1.IntrSerial = '[%0]' FOR BROWSE
Now the problem is that he's giving me many customers when I search on a serial, while this isn't possible. There can only be 1 customer who bought the product with that serial and not like 200. So my question is how do I get the right customer who bought the product that contains the serial I'm searching for?

I would structure the query a bit differently. You don't need to (or I don't understand why you) link the OINV and INV1 tables. Also the information from OCRD are stored in the OSRI table so that link is not needed, but I left it there so you can see my join.
SELECT T1.IntrSerial, T1.ItemCode, T1.ItemName, T1.WhsCode, T1.CardCode, T2.CardName
FROM OSRI T1
LEFT OUTER JOIN OCRD T2 ON T1.CardCode = T2.CardCode

the computer i was using as the admin station crashed and i installed remote desktop admin on another computer, it works ok but now everytime i open remote desktop i have to type in the serial number- any ideas why this is happening- i did not do this on the first computer it was installed on

Make sure that the user account in Mac OS X has administrator privileges, at least for the first launch of ARD.

Remote installation - invalid serial number: could not retrieve serial numb

I am unable to use the remote setup admin assistant, and get a demand for a serial number, yet when I enter it, get the message-"invalid serial number: could not retrieve serial number". Unfortunately the tech support number for the Philippines does not work (get a recording saying that it is not yet working), and the Australian number calling long distance is constantly busy. I have wasted two days trying to set up the mini server for this enterprise and am amazed that there is no easy way to contact Apple for a solution.

Kind of obvious but which serial number are you using? Using the remote assistant requires the serial number of the MacMini itself. The first 8 letters. You'll find this serial number on the underside of the MacMini. Better still the box as it's easier to read. Although in the past it's not really been case sensitive I have found the last 2-3 years where keying in Caps where appropriate tends to be more successful. I have had a colleague report problems unless the whole of the Serial Number was used.

I have a registered MacBook Pro that was stolen on 9-11.
I live on an American AF Base in Okinawa, Japan and filed a police report.

My Apple ID recognizes that I have the feature fo the iPad & iPod, but NOT the MacBook Pro.
