Remoteviewer ActiveX never popup (install link wont go away)

Running 11.2, and trying to use IE8 and/or IE9 on Win 7 x64 for remote control.
On some of the administrators machines, when trying to remote control the link for installing the remote control viewer never goes away.
Installation of the viewer works fine.
Read in the manuals that it can help disabling UAC.
Did help on one machine, but not on the others.
Tried Trusted sites, enabling all ActiveX-stuff in settings but nothing seems to work.
Tried on a clean Win7, and there, first time after installing remote control viewer, I get a question about allowing the viewer, and after that it works.
But that question never comes up on most of the machines. The link for installing is just still there...
And now with FireFox 12, that will not work either (can start another tread on that).
Anyone has an idea on getting it to work in IE8/9?

Blue box around link wont go away

Im using DW cs3 and trying to redo a website. I have
everything in place, but when I add a link to an animated gif in
center of my page, it adds a blue border around the image. How can
I turn this off?
I have a nav column on left side of page will rollover
effects and there is no blue box around those images.
If thats not bad enough, I also have an animated gif above my
nav column, and when I add a link to it, It gets a blue box as well
and expands my nav table. I havent experienced this with older DW.
Any ideas on what Im doing or not doing right?

for border. I dont remember ever having to put that in before. I
may just be getting old.

i instAlled link gopher 1.3.2 in firefox and it wont show up on my firefox browser so i can use it. also i can not get any addons to show up. i had downthem all and i got that to to show by clicking view/toolbars/customize and dragging it to my toolbar but even that does not show up and gopher 1.3.2 does not show up in view/toolbars/cuntomize. how can i get these addons to show up?

BB link wont install/uninstall

BB link wont install error 7377 source file not found C:\user\user\app\data\local\temp wzsse0-tmp data cab verify file exists anybody know a fix to this? Keep getting a random DOS windows poping up now and this error everytime I try to install/uninstall. Any help would be appreciated so I can backup and transfer my files.

BB Link wont install

I have a problem installing link on a new laptop. The spec is win 7 pro 64bit.
Every time I try and install a message pops up and tells me the EXE file has a syntax error? Any ideas? I have turned off virus and firewall and run as an administrator.

Did you rename the file ? I suggest you delete the file and download another to see if it is the file or your computer.

Blackberry link wont connect to my z10

I tried to connect my z10 to blackberry link so I could transfer music and pictures.
It has an error message and wont connect unless I restore my entire device to factory settings...
I spent all day getting the phone running and personalized, I don't want to have to restore it all back...
Is there a way around this?

I have the same problem, here is a screen shot. It makes no sense. I hooked my Z10 up to computer and it appeared a a CD which it is suppose to. I installed link and this is what happened right from the get go. There has to be a way to fix this without restoring.

No, you should be able to use/install LR5. Make sure you are using the correct number. If the problem continues explain the details of what you do and what happens.

I can not uninstall CS2 because it never finished installing

I have been attempting to install Adobe Acrobat CS2 on my Windows Vista computer. I was told that my original Acrobat 7.0 program had problems and would not work so I was told to download the CS2 program. Everytime I try to install it I get an error message stating that it can not access the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 7.0\ActiveX. This folder is a "read only". It has 4 files in it AcroIEHelper.dll, AcroPDF.dll, GbDetect.dll and pdfshell.dll. I can not delete any of these files.
I was sent an e-mail that took me to a "discussion" telling me to uninstall Acrobat 7.0 using Control Panel - Add Remove Programs. However, since the program never fully installed it is not listed on Add Remove Programs. Does anyone have any idea how I can get this program to work?
Microsoft has told me to use the cmd prompt and the command rd "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 7.0" /s /q to delete the folder, but it does not work. All I get is "Access is Denied" I've tried using the Explorer but am told that that procedure needs permission. I'm logged in as the Administrator.

Acrobat 7 is not compatible with any 64-bit version of Windows.
And there is no such beast as Adobe Acrobat CS2. The version of Acrobat that came with CS2, if I recall correctly was Acrobat 7 Pro.
And for that matter, current Macintoshes won't be able to run any CS2 software either. You are talking about software that is at this point 10 years and anywhere between 4 and 6 versions out of date.

PS: I suspect that you never did have Acrobat 7 or Creative Suite 2 installed on this VIsta x64 system. What was it previously installed on? The only systems that supported Acrobat 7 under Windows were Windows XP 32-bit and Windows 2000. And what media are you using to install the software from? The original media and software for these versions do no longer install and activate.

What happens to the apps' data, if they were restored to a new device, but apps never get installed?

This is a super easy scanario.
Say in my old phone I have totally 50 apps, 30 purchased under Appel ID (A), and another 20 purchased under a different Apple ID, (B).
The old device is iOS5 and I turned on iCloud backup and back up everything (data of all apps).
I get a new device, restore from iCloud, wait until everything (photo, messages, settings, most importantly, data of all 50 apps) are restoed to the new phone.
The first thing happen after the first reboot, and it will prompt me to log on my Apple ID, to install apps.
What if, at this moment I decied to only sign on with Apple ID (A), and just don't want to use all 20 apps that I purchased under Apple ID (B) anymore?
Is the data of those 20 apps become leftover / orphane on my new phone, and just no way to clean them up? Please notice again, that I did not say "install app and then delete", I know that will clean up the data as well. I mean when data is copied over but app never get installed.

LINKS WONT REFRESH AUTOMATICALLY

I have Microsoft Office 2010 Home and Student. I have cells from one page linked to another page within the same workbook. When the data changes from the source cell it does not reflect a change in the destination cell unless I double click the destination
cell at which point it refreshes. Some of my links update on their own and others require manual refresh. I never know which links are correct and up to date without double checking the values in all of the destination links and comparing to the source cell
for accuracy. As a result I cannot trust the calculations in my workbook.
Can anyone tell me a fix to this problem?

=MAIN!E2 this is an example of a link that i am referring to. it's a simple link that should carry the value from the original cell to another sheet in the book. i have always been using these and they have always worked fine. now many are not working.
and example would be... the value in MAINE2 is sum(E3:E1000) as data is manually entered in column E the value in MAINE2 changes of course. The changes are supposed to carry over to another page automatically to the cell which =MAIN!E2.
Let's say that the value of MAINE2 started the day at 65 before any data was entered in column E on that page for the day. The linked cell that should be =MAIN!E2 is showing 65 as it should. But at the end of the day after entering in data to column
E the value of MAINE2 IS NOW 160. When I check the link on the other page the cell for =MAIN!E2 is still showing a value of the old data of 65. If I double click on the =MAIN!E2 cell it will update it'self to 165 but if I don't double click the cell
it will remain at 65 indefinately.
There are many many of these "links" that are doing that. If I want my workbook to be accurate I have to go through constantly and double click all the "links" so that they update to the correct values.

Oracle Forms Fundementals Study CD installed but wont open! When I click on icon nothing happens! Anybody have any advice?

Sorry guys,was doing some more testing and there have been some new developments.
First, my database is version 10.2.0.4
secondly, on all client machines they have installed Oracle Forms 5.0.6.8.0
Interestingly, i can now open the form by connecting to the 10g database.
But when i try and query for data , run a report and things like that, am getting
the below error.

ORA-12637: TNS: Packet recieved failed
