Removal and adding tabs in user interface

Hi,can anybody provide me solution for customizing the user interface page menu tabs in SUN Identity Manager.
My requirement is,i need to remove and add main menu and sub menus in the user interface page in SUN Identity Manager.

No Start Menu, removed and added User Account then no "Built In" Apps - Build 1049

So quick history, was having problem with start menu not working under build 1044 for the second user I'd added to the machine (Microsoft account). Rebuilt using "Remove everything and reinstall windows". Seemed to resolve the problem for the newly
added user and was still working under the original user (also Microsoft Account). Then along came build 1049 and now the same start menu issue occurred for the original user account. So, as both were setup as admins, removed the original
user account, restarted, checked all data removed and added the account again.
First attempt added the account as a local account then added the Microsoft account after login, result = start menu working but no "built in" apps (store beta, insider app etc).
So removed account again and added again, this time using Microsoft account immediately, logged in and exactly the same result.
Any ideas how to resolve?

You cannot use the Start Menu logging in as anything that would be in the BUILTIN\administrator group on the computer. I had the same problem when I added the machine to a domain, thus domain admins is in the BUILTIN\Administrator group.
The reason being that the Windows 10 Start Menu is an appxpackage, and you can't run appxpackages using the built-in administrator account. As is the case for example with Windows Store. It doesn't however give you a warning message, you
just click on the windows button and nothing happens.
This is just total madness imv. It kind of made sense when all the appxpackages where apps, but now they include parts of the OS, the OS is essentially non-functional when you log in using anything in the BUILTIN\ administrator group.
If you really want to blow your mind, go into PowerShell and run the command: get-appxpackage|remove-appxpackage
If you run that on Windows 8.1 it will remove all the bloatware apps for the logged on user. Run it in Windows 10 and it removes various parts of the OS for that user as well, such as the Start Menu!

Stored proc to pull data from INV/OM/ASCP and load into a user interface

i'm trying to pull the data from inv, om and ascp into a user interface ? help me write a stored proc to write 3 procedures, with 3 custom tables for the 3 diff source systems i.e., OM/INV/ASCP and also provide these 3 programs in the request set so that when request set is run, it runs the programs one after the other.
-please help me with a simple step by step process in doing so ?

Unable to add or remove iView to role in user interface

Hi,
from last fews days, i am having problem with creation and deletion of ivIews on portal.
I created one iView and added it to the role which already had some iViews before... But the new iView i had added is not shown to user.. it shows me in content administrator that iView is been added..
After which i had restarted my server...after restart it shown the iView to user...now i tried to add one more new iView..but still it shown me the same problem..
I am also unable to remove iView from portal.. i deleted the iView from content administrator..it shows the iView removed from role.... but on user interface this iView link is still seen in detail navigation..
although on clicking it does not show any content for the removed iView..but link is still present...
Hve any one faced this issue before...!!!

Hi,
did u added the iviews as delta link or copy.
This sometimes happens if you add as direct copy intstead of delata link.
Delete the view and save. After that add as delta link and save.
This may solve your problem.

Voicemail not working - after removing and adding Dialplan

I had a UM dial plan configured and it was working properly. I removed that plan and added a new one. The new one does not work.
When ever you leave a Voice-mail for a user, they never get it. If the user logs in, they still have access to old voice-mails that were left before the UM dial plan was deleted and a new one created.
My assumption is that when you activate the user for UM, it is attaching back to the existing information, instead of using the new dial plan. Anyone have any thoughts on how to stop this?
Is there a way I can just purge all UM information and start over?

I did, as far as I can tell the new dial plan is working.
Currently, only I am enabled for UM in the environment. If you call my extension, you are able to leave a VM. I never get a missed call notification or the Voicemail. If I manually log into my Voicemail, I have no new voicemail and only
old ones that were left before this new UM plan was created.
I did remove UM from my account and re-add it with the new one, that did not solve the problem.
Where are the VM that are being left now going, if not into my mailbox.
Does deleting a UM remove any associated voicemails? Should it?
Do you know if there is a way for me to reset my mailbox, to fully remove the UM capabilities and then start over?

Cant transmitt and Recieve data when USER INTERFACE Execution Mode selected

I am working on a project in which I have to continuously send and recieve serial data..
Again, in my application, I want to use AciveX control to open PDF (Theory related to the project).
PDF can be opened only in USER INTERFACE Execution Mode.
(I dont want to open PDF in Adobe Reader.. I want it inside my application)
But when I use this execution mode, I am unable to transmitt and receive data through VISA.
When I change the Execution mode to STANDERD, all works fine.
Again, I could not change the mode Using Property node.. Shows error that I cant edit the VI in running mode.
How should I get these two works done at a time..

both links are essentially the same…
I don't have Acrobat installed, so I cannot reproduce the problem or test the VI.
Did you try a different tool? There are other PDF viewers available…
Maybe the MS Webbrowser (available as DotNet) can show PDFs on the frontpanel of your VI…
You cannot change the execution system at runtime as it would require recompiling the VI. Point.

Error Message code 1900 in syntax check and code LV_ERR in user interface

In my webdynpro component when i did the code inspector check i have an error message in syntax check
which says "Message code 1900: ObjectType WDYN Object name ZXXXX Row 1 Column 0 the size of the PXA buffer reached a critical value at 158 percent. Another Error message in user interface

Hi,
you need to discuss with the basis team to increase the abap buffersize.
there is a parameter in the transaction rz11.
go to RZ11 and then wirte parameter as abap/buffersize
check its value.
if you increase it, problem will be solved i guess.

Exception thrown when I remove and add Tab?

I use the JTabbedPane, and I made a button, when it's pressed, it will remove all tab from the JTabbedPane, and then it will recreate every tab(update them) and add it back. But sometimes there's exception thrown, why is that? the exception are:

Does anyone know why? I still can't solve this problem, it just keep popping up, but the strange thing is after exception thrown, nothing has happeded, everything seems to be fine, the program still running, all those tabs are added.

Removing and adding panels to a jframe

i have tried using remove all to remove a panel which is on my mainpanel which is on the jframe. when i do though, only the area where the menu was is removed. The components on the frame are not accessible. i want to then add another frame. this does not seem to work. i have tried using removeAll(), validate(), repaint(). i am probably not using them correctly or in the right order, so can anyone help me out?????????

If you have added the JPanel to the JFrame and the components to the JPanel the removeAll() should work.

Sign in link and adding a guest user.

I have added security for my web center application.Currently i have created a default pages(login.html and logout.html) for handling login and logout.
Now i want signIn link on my every page.when a user clicks the link he should be navigated to login.html.
User can browse the pages without getting logged in as a guest user.l
How can I achieve the abve functionality for a guest user.

The Anonymous-role works for a page, but now when i call login.html and try to login i get Http:403 error.
Is there a way to forward to a particular page from my login.html if the authentication is success, may be return to the page which requested for login.

Dreamweaver user interface controls appear small and hard-to-read on high-density displays.

I have 3840x2160, 24" display and many of the user interface controls are small, hard to read and in some cases are cut off.
I see this issue existed with Photoshop and Adobe introduced a "Introducing scale the UI 200% for high-density displays for Windows" under "Experimental Features"

However I don't see this option available in Dreamweaver? Is there another work around?

Wow, 4K resolution within a 24" space. You need a 200% increase in UI size just to work, I would think. Can you post a screenshot of the issue? I would like to see that. ;-)
With the changes the Dw team have made to the UI over the last few releases, and with the latest Workspaces, it almost feels like 720p is the main focus, or like the only Dw users that matter are on small Macbooks, with very limited screen real estate. I can still work on my laptop when I'm out of the office (17" at 1920x1080 on Windows 8.1), but the icons and controls are pretty small. Even with the added screen real estate, and the fact that the UI is still intact, I'd hate to have to use it for extended periods.

Cmd Tab greying out creative suite User Interface

Sometimes when I switch to a CS4 application using 'cmd Tab' the User Interface, Menu bar, tool palettes etc are a dark gray colour - grayed out and inactive. If I click on them they return to their usual appearance but its really annoying - is this a known issue? is there a fix?

Powershell Script to Remove and Add the user with same permission

I need to remove all users within all site collection of a web application and add them back with same permission level. We have a siteminder based custom trusted identity token issuer configured in our farm. The name of the issuer will be changed
due to some architectural decissions , hence all users which are there before will be unidentified, hence need to be removed and added again.
Currently each user looks like : c:0Ç¹.t|Identity Token Issuer1|user1
Post the change the user will look like: c:0Ç¹.t|Identity Token Issuer New|user1
I am looking for a powershell script which can handle this operation.

User Interface (UI) Too Small on InDesign and CC Suite

I have a 27″ IMac running Yosemite 10.10.2. Its native screen resolution is 2560×1440.
When I opened CC Indesign 2014 for the first time I was shocked to see that the tools and rest of the user interface were SO SMALL that I was having tremendous difficulty seeing them clearly. I'm talking 5 and 6 point type!!! And the icons... minuscule!
I lowered the resolution of the display, but type then becomes fuzzy. I searched the web and found that there were others who were having the same problem.
I find it hard to believe that a company specializing in software for the design/creative community would overlook something as CRITICAL as size of the graphical user interface and its customization to work optimally on different platforms and with different display sizes and to satisfy the particular needs of each user.
The UI obviously greatly impacts our working speed and facility.
I called Adobe and their tech support could not help. I called Apple and got the same.
I've been a graphic designer for over 20 years. Frankly, at this point, I find the suite UNusable (I took a quick look at Photoshop and Illustrator and the same issue applies).
This is just unbelievable! Anyone out there have an answer?

User Interface - auto detect does not work

I have added the jQuery Mobile User Interface with Theme 50 to an old APEX 4.1 Application.
When adding the new User Interface i checked the "auto detect" feature in the old User Interface.
"Auto detect"- Help says:
Select whether the appropriate user interface should be automatically detected. If auto-detection is enabled, the user will be redirected to the corresponding login page or home page.
When calling the Application (only with the application-id) from my nexus 4 smartphone the application does not switch to the mobile Login page.
Do i have to change any old settings or themes?

You can run Incremental Sync from user profile 3-4 times. This will delete the user profile from SharePoint UPA.
Now, we need to run UPA clean job timer job available in Job Definition inside central administration.
This is a by design issue which you have raised. But, to get it done on the same day you need to follow above mentioned steps. This would be done in some hour and cannot be achieved in 4-5 minutes. So, your original request is a by design issue and can be
