Removal of EAN code / update problem in ECC

Hi,
I have a problem regarding EAN codes within MDM. If a material is created within MDM and a EAN code assigned to the material and the records is syndicated to ECC it all works fine.
Now later we find out that the EAN code is to be removed and left blank. When syndicating this change to ECC the material is not updated.
It works fine when changing the EAN code but not when removing the EAN code.
If you do it manually within ECC you get a warning and then the EAN code is removed. I know you also have to mark a main EAN code within the additional data -> Additional EANs and ECC assigns this automatically if you change EAN codes and automatically removes this when removing the EAN code.
What is needed to syndicate a removal of EAN code to ECC from MDM?
Kind regards
Henning

Forget about this one.

  • Zen 8G This device cannot start code 10 and firmware update problem

I have read the threads in the forums on the same problem that I am having. It seems that there are few solutions for this and the ones that have been posted I have tried. Basically the problem is this, I made the silly mistake of trying to update the firmware on my Zen 8G since it was listed as a critical update. I downloaded the firmware but it failed and took me to the recovery screen. Instead of working with this, again silly me, I tried to use the Creative recovery tool. This downloaded the firmwary and started rebooting the player. At this point it just hung. I left it on for about 3 hours and nothing happened and it wouldn't turn off so I hit the reset button on the player. Now when I connect it to the computer it recognizes it as a creative zen but if I try to download the firmware the software says the player is not connected when it is. When I check the device driver, even though it shows it as a creative zen it says "This device cannot start code 0"? I have the latest Microsoft device driver loaded and it still doesn't work.
I have tried this on two different computers, one using XP and the other using Vista. I get the same problem with each. It appears to me that the problem is not really with the device driver but somehow with the firmware. However, I am not an expert at this stuff.
If anyone could please help I would appreciate it. This was a gift for my wife for the Christmas of 2007 so it is just out of warranty and the service people won't help.

GRe: Zen 8G This device cannot start code 0 and firmware update problem?Hello Tbg99,
    Welcome to Creative forums!
Try booting the player in the recovery mode.
. While the ZEN is off, press and hold down the play/pause button.
    2. While holding down the play/push button, push the reset button slowly using a paper clip/pin. You should feel the "click" sound when press it.
    3. Slide the On/Off switch towards the power button and hold it down until the recovery boot screen appears.
Choose Clean Up then Reboot. If problem still persists, you may need to format the ZEN but take note that formatting will delete the contents of the device. To format the ZEN, boot the ZEN in the recovery mode again and choose Format this time.

  • Problems getting UPC/EAN codes to write in the mastering notes

I'm pretty sure this is simple pilot error, as I don't use Waveburner on a regular basis, but...
I was letting a friend who had to turn in some masters to a label use waveburner, as his system was temporarily down. He was given the UPC/EAN codes to enter onto each CD he had to burn (7 songs on each), and when we saved the mastering notes as a PDF file, it kept saying "none" where the UPC code was to go (on the mastering notes).
I did get it to save and print on 2 CD's, but 5 I could not. I admittedly have no idea why it was so inconsistent, but attributed it to my missing something simple. The manual had very little to say about this.
Has anyone else run into this? What am I doing wrong?
    Hope this isn't to vague...

I too have complained about Datasocket error codes, messages, lack of ds browser, etc. NI said that they will hopefully have some inproved ds information in 6.1

  • How to remove the autogenerated code in F M- 'MAT_MOVE_BMMH1_MARA'

    Hi,
I added the custom fields in MARA to upload the LSMW.So i added the enhancement in LSMW program RMDATIND.It is working fine now. Then,i need to remove the code from that.where i could removed only the enhancement.(Note: when the enhancement is added in RMDATIND program which writes the code for structures automatically).
But it is not removing the code from the functional module "MAT_MOVE_BMMH1_MARA'(RMDATIND) because which is autogenerated the code in the FM from the program "RMDATIND".And also its asking the ACCESS KEY since it is a standard program.
So i need to remove the autogenerate code in FM - MAT_MOVE_BMMH1_MARA.
    Thanks for your kind reply..

    Hi there,
The function module "MAT_MOVE_BMMH1_MARA" has status 'Not released'.
The release status is visible in the Attributes tab in SE37.
    According to the note
415983 Modification/customer developments of SAP function
109533 Use of SAP function modules
Attributes. Some of the reasons why internally released Function
    modules are not documented are as follows;
    - too much overhead
    - internally released function modules are often changed and updated
    - are designed for specific purposes by the relevant Application
    Developers etc.
SAP does not support problems that occur if the customer used non-released function modules.
    Many thanks,

    (1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):
    http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4459
    (2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
    (3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
    (4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Apple Software Update entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
    (5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install using an iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) downloaded from the Apple Website:

  • Chart x scale update problem

    LabVIEW  8.5.1
    Sweep Chart Problem
The x scale values do not update until after the 2nd sweep.  The red line cursor gets to the end of the sweep and starts the next, but the scale numbers do not update until the next sweep starts.
It appears to be a problem with the chart, since it happens with any vi with a sweep chart.  I've used versions 6 through 7 for years and never seen this.  I've only recently moved to a new job with a new machine and version 8.5.1., so I'm not sure what to try.
    I've included a simple example.
    Thanks much,

You have a typical race condition!
There is no data dependency between the property node and the while loop, so in your case the loop starts executing first and the property node starts slightly later, immediately erasing the first point. Execution order is not defined.
All you need to do is add a data dependency, e.g. as with the error cluster in the image. This forces the property node to complete before the loop is allowed to start.
(Execution order is enforced even if the wire value is not even used inside the loop )
    Try it!

  • Authorization removed but T-code still accesible

    Hello,
    We are on ECC 6.0 / Oracle 10 / Solaris 10...
I am removing a T-code from a Z role in the system , it is still reflecting to the user...
I am removing it from the menu completely , but i can see it in object S_TCODE...
Is this is a bug or i am missing something?
    Thanks,
    R@HuL...

    Hi Rahul,
Please check the status of the object S_TCODE in the role being mentioned by you.If you have the status of the object as STANDARD then the values have been pulled from the entries in the role menu and if the status is MANUALLY then the values have been entered manually and not through the role menu.
After removing the concerned transaction from the role menu and generating the profile, please check where the transaction is appearing in the role authorization,it should not appear in the S_TCODE object if it is in STANDARD status. But if the object S_TCODE is in status MANUALLY the transaction might appear there.

  • Firmware update problem solved after Win XP SP3 -upd

I'm one of the numerous victims of ZEN firmware updating problem. At the start I had Win XP SP2 and WMP. My player is ZEN Micro 5gb and after trying to update firmware it had firmware problem and stayed in the recovery mode. Firmware updater and ZEN Media Explorer couldn't recognize the player. So that's how I got it work again:
    1. Rolled back WMP to WMP9, updated it to WMP0.
    2. Removed ZEN Media Explorer and Jukebox driver (all Creative stuff) from Add/Remove programs in Control Panel.
It didn't solve the problem. I also tried my player with couple of other computers, but it didn't help either.
    3. Installed Win XP SP3 -update.
    4. Reinstalled driver for ZEN Micro in Control Panel.
    5. Ran the firmware updater and this time it did recognize the player.
    (6. Updated WMP back to version and the player's still working.)
Hope this will help you too.

I can start the upgrading process, but at around 95% it stops, and says "firmware upgrade failed." I didn't uninstall WMP though, because I have Vista, and I hae no idea how to do it. I can only get my computer to recognize my 6G Zen when I go into recovery mode and choose 'reload firmware' then I connect it to the computer and I can start trying to upgrade it. If I dont go into recovery mode, its just a blank screen, the computer doesnt recognize it, and I can't even turn it off without reseting.
?I've tried so much, now when I try to upgrade, it loads a little bit and jumos to the end quckly and says "firmware upgrade fails" and nothing works. Do I have to try to do all the things you listed to fix this?

What kind of problems Bill? Perhaps we could help. Easiest way to uninstall the unwanted update would be to remove your FCS install altogether and reinstall from your original installer disks.

    Hi all,
i've been working on my app for a few month now and i have about two more weeks until i finally submit it. everything went very good during development.. untill -
by ACCIDENT i've upgraded my firmware to 3.1.2
since my OS is 10.5.7, as i understand, i must install xcode 3.2.1. but this version also needs mac OS 10.6

can't i make a rollback to other firmware version supported by my current 3.1.2 xcode ?
i've searched the net endlessly and just couldn't find anyway to downgrade my firmware (i have a 5.11.7 baseband and 6.2 bootloader)
    please...
    any help ?

  • Glibc update problem. glibc: "/lib64 exists in filesystem"

Hi. I am going through the glibc update problem. I have followed (kind of) the steps from https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/De … iki:usrlib
I have performed the upgrade with the "ignore" flag. But I am still getting this:
    nlw@pathfinder:~$ sudo pacman -Su
error: failed to commit transaction (conflicting files)
    glibc: /lib64 exists in filesystem
Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded.
    nlw@pathfinder:~$
Notice that there is no error message involving /lib, only lib64. (I have a 64bit system btw.)
The grep command from the wiki only lists glibc stuff, both for lib and lib64. The find only lists glibc stuff for /lib, but I get this for the the find in /lib/64:
    nlw@pathfinder:/lib64$ find /lib64 -exec pacman -Qo -- {} +
error: cannot determine ownership of directory '/lib64'
/lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 is owned by glibc 2.15-11
/lib64/ld-2.15.so is owned by glibc 2.15-11
    error: No package owns /lib64/libc.so.6
    nlw@pathfinder:/lib64$
Any ideas what to do now?

OK, so this /lib64/libc.so.6 was just a symbolic link to /lib/libc.so.6. I probably created it myself, probably because of some program like Matlab... Removed the link and pacman -Su worked. Thanks for the attention and sorry for the noise!
