Removal of Expired contract type

Hello friends,
My client requirment is expired contract type should be removed from the list. They are saying, 'The Accounts team some time selects that contract for raising invoice instead of new contract created for the same rental object.
How can we resolve this issue

Dear Geeks,
My customer wanted remove few Contract type in IT0016. However, he do not want to delete. Just, the Contract types should not be listed in the drop down list while creating new records and the records already created should be available for reporting.

Thank you for your inputs.
We do not want to hide the field. There were 30 contract types, in which most of them (say 20) were not in use now. Hence, we need to make only 10 available for the end user to choose from. Is User Exit the only way?

Entry date in blank for limited Contract Type

Hello,
I've set up the feature ENTRY with the value EINDT X for my molga, but when I run a hiring action and in infotype 16, in the field Contract Type I use a Limited contract Type, and when I run the report S_AHR_61016362 (Flexible Employee
Data) the Entry Date Column is in blank but it does not happen when I use Unlimited Contract Type.
Does anyone can help me?

This feature provides entry date definition method to function module HR_ENTRY_DATE. In your case it reads following fields from IT0016:
1. EINDT "Initial Entry"
2. KONDT "Date of Entry into Group"
First of all check that you entered one of these fields for employees with temporary contract.

I want to know how to remove password expiration time limit for ocs (11gR2) users? In our system all user accounts are getting expired in 1 week. I have to remove expdate. (profile was changed)

I want to know how to remove password expiration time limit for ocs users? In our system all user accounts are getting expired after 3 to 4 weeks. I have to remove this restriction and make password never expires

You have to do this directly in OID using oidadmin (Oracle Directory Administrator)

Contract number is sotred in the table EKKO with the filed EBELN .
contract type is EBTYP = "K' ( for contracts...)
select EBELN
FROM EKKO,

this is to inform you that,
i think there is no solution in standard settings:
so this is simple and feasable solution for your requriment.
let it me any contract at the back end it will be supported with PROGRAMS AND USER EXITS, right.
that is what i have asked to give the information to solve your question.
please catch the message and double click take the message number and go to SE91 and give the message and execute or display.
it will take you to the messsage screen and with its number.
select it and goto where used list.
there you will find I or W informatin or warning mesage
tell your ABAPER to convert it to E - error message with expired contract.

How to not display expired contract on Web-UI in SRM-MDM ?

Our business is as following:
the contract is published to SRM-MDM V3.0, but if contract is expired, when I select the content from catalog to create sc, then    this kind of contract should not display on catalog, how to do ?

    You are right , My case is not what you mean.
    I transfer valid contract from SRM to Mdm catalog, maybe after several months ,the contract is expired compare to today, I don't expect this kind of contract display on the catalog UI to mislead the user.
   Of course, I know how to prevent user to creat SC with selected expired contract by BADI, But I think that is not good idea.
   Actually , I can also solve this issue by development in SRM BADI and MDM , expired contract will not display in catalog, but that will make many changes compared with standar function.
   I wonder whether SAP have the better solution.

After removing my payment info, why can't I remove the credit card type

How can I completely remove all of my payment information? I already removed all of my info but can't seem to remove the credit card type (Visa, MasterCard, etc.). After removing the info I am able to, I click Done and then in red letters the words, "There's a billing problem with a previous purchase. Please update your payment method." pop out. I don't know what to do. Can someone help me please?

RERAPL (Posting Log) - Selection screen Contract Type field

Hi Forum
Is there a way to see the landscape specific contract types defined under 'Contract Type' entries(F4) list of RERAPL selection screen rather the generic list ?
i.e. in RERAPL selection screen, for 'Contract Type' field under 'More Fields' section of 'FI Document for Selection' area, only the generic list of contract types viz., Loans, Securities, Foreign Echange etc is seen. Why not the list what has been created in RE Contract Types is shown here ?

Hi Sekhar,
reason is that the field 'contract type' in the selection for FI document is not the contract type known in RE.
contract type field in FI document is 1 CHAR (technical field name VERTT) and contains the information to which application the contract number refers in the FI document line.
The 4 CHAR contract type in application RE-FX (technical field name RECNTYPE) is used in RE-FX only and not stored in the FI document. Therefore it is not possible to select FI documents by this contract type.

Use of expired contracts

Hello Experts,
I have a query regarding the usage of purchase contracts.
As a company, if I sign a contract with my vendor for a year, my contract will expire after that.
Should I be able to use this expired contract till I renew it?
I understand it is illegal to use an expired contract even for one day after the actual validity period. Is this opinion correct?
And is it the same for any industry irrespective of the size or the vertical it belongs to?
Kindly let me know how this is supposed to be.

Your query looks more towards business angle.
Yes.It is illegal to use the expired contract or after validity.
If we talk about SRM
you can change the validity.
Or you can create new contract wrt old contract
or you have option to create a Bid Invitation for expired contract to finalise the new contract
