Remove approve reject link in the notification

Hi,
I want to remove the approve and reject link in the notification. I only want the users to log on and approve and reject. The email has to be HTML mail. How do you hide or remove the approve and reject link ONLY for my wf notifications and not for everyone else's.

Hi,
You cannot change the functionality for only one notification or process. If you want to send summary emails, then you need to set either the global preference or the user preferences. This impacts all notifications in the system for that particular user.
There is no other way to remove the links from an email, but leave them in the notification.

Outlook email without approve/reject links

Hi,
Can someone please let me know if its possible to send a outlook mail and a notification as per my requirement as below to a user already in oracle applications?
My requirement is:
I want to send a notification where in a user can approve the notification only from oracle application. He should receive a mail (inbox) which should have all the contents same as the notification but without approval buttons in it. From the HR set ups, the user can get the notification and mail but the mail will have the buttons in it...
I don't want these buttons in the mail... how to acheive this?

Hi,
Create a new mailer template, and associate it with the item type that you want to use. I think that you can remove the buttons that way, but haven't checked it at the moment.

Removing Worklist App link from task notification

Hi
Is it possible to remove the tasklist link from the email notification header?
We would like to direct the recipient to our own web page.

How to remove Print pdf link below the reports?

How to remove print pdf(only pdf. i need html) report which is available below the reports? I am not asking to remove it from the print icon at the left bottom of the page. I need it to be deleted from the link in the middle of the page below the report.

URL link in the notifications

When we receive the notifications it has a URL link to click on to view the data, any idea where this URL link gets created completely? What are the packages or config files to look for.

A:The URL is an attribute. You are responsible to set this value.
Q:Second problem in the DEV instnace when we use the workflow notifications to notify the users when the report gets completed it send a URL link but it is pointing to different instance> any idea which profile option or file entry need to be changed?
A:Check your notification object and see who is the performer.

You are correct in your observation as this resolution comes down to XML configuation. I have outlined a sample below for your cross reference and convenience. The property you should be highlighting and reviewing here is "ActionPosition".
Firstly - Do you have the action defined in the view?

Where I have <ACTION BUTTON NAME REQUIRED> you should have something
like forward, etc.
Now a point to highlight there are two principals to remember when you are working with XML files.
Before making changes the XML files should be copied so changes can be reverted easily if required.
XML files follow the concept of precedence. So to realize changes in terms of visual display the newly edited XML file needs to be re-uploaded with a new priority of "High". After doing so clear the UWL Cache.

Any these comments must flow to (Notification from AR).

If you want to use digital signatures for each status do the following procedure
1) Define signature strategy for each status
2) Select status detail and assign signature strategy
3) Under 'Attributes' select 'Content version'
4) Select the 'Status type' as 'Locked'
Assign a signature strategy to the document status.
Also the required settings are made under Document Management >> Control data >> Define document type >> Define document status. (You can select any status for which you want digital signature for approval)
Assign a signature strategy to the document status.
Save the changes.
Create DIR
Once the Document is reached to that particular status it will ask for digital signature. Choose Digital signature (Double click on Enter key).
if everything is right
The Digital Signature dialog box appears. Enter your comment upto 200 words in the text field. Select the individual signature strategy is assigned to you DIR. Put the login id and password.Thus the Digital signature process has been completed.

How Do I Remove Photo Downloader Icon from the notification area (system tray)

Yes, this should be simple, but I'm baffled. Can the icon be permanently removed, or at least when when the Album Starter is not in use... other than clicking on "exit" which only brings it back when the computer is restarted without removing the program?

Easy ! I use Comodo Pro Firewall.
1) Click on DEFENSE box.
2) Click on "View Active Process List"
3) Look down the list of processes. Find APDPROXY.EXE.
4) Click it, then click "Terminate and Quarantine"
5) ALL DONE ! No more icon in tray and the program is killed.
APDPROXY - This is lurking about, you can find it on SEARCH from the START button. BUT, you cannot delete it or move it and MSCONFIG does not work. You can disable it as many times as you like - it will keep coming back.
SOLUTION ! Download CCleaner, it is a great little program and free.
Using this you can click on TOOLS, then STARTUP. A list of programs are shown which are enabled at STARTUP. Disabling does not work, just click on APDPROXY and click DELETE. It`s GONE !
All over in a flash - no more ADOBE PHOTO DOWNLOADER.

How do i remove tap to tweet in the notification setting?

So I have deleted my Twitter account and I go into twitter app and delete my account there. but after a while it shows back up and so does the Tap to Tweet in the pull down menu. Was wondering if there is a way to totally get rid of this without it coming back

Does SharePoint allow to Approve/Reject non-pending items

I am confused on the behaviour SharePoint is handling content approval, as sometimes it will hide the Approve/Reject links if the item status is not pending. While on some senarios it will allow to Approve/Reject items regardless of their statuses. Let
for example examine these two senarions.
I have a document library and I set “Require content approval for submitted item” under its versioning settings.
Now when users access the page , the “Approve/Reject” links will be disabled unless the page status is pending. For example this is an approved page and the “Apprve/Reject” links are disabled:-
However this is not always true, because if I access the same page but from this location “Site content>>Library”, select the page, from the drop-down menu there will be “Approve/Reject” link for the same page:-
So this means that there is inconsistency behavior inside SharePoint , as for the same item it will disabled “Approve/Reject” link while on other places it will enable them (as shown above),, so can anyone advice on this please , and if there is a reason

I tested the same scenario per your post, and I got the same results as you got.
It seems that this issue occurs with lists and wiki pages libraries.
We will help to submit the issue to proper pipeline for you.

Appreciate your time and patience.
As a workaround, you can code to achieve what you want which is not an easy way.
You can use client object model to get the current selected items and check the _ModerationStatus of the items.
If the _ModerationStatus is equal to 0 (which means approved in SharePoint) or 1(which means rejected in SharePoint), then disable the Approve/Reject button.
In the meanwhile, you need to monitor the ribbon if the Files has been opened.

Duet has encountered an error during Approve , Reject Reassign the workflow

We have implemented DUET with two scenario (LEMA & WOMA) in our organization. When try Approve , Reject or Reassign the Duet work flow Item Duet has encountered an error . The scenario was working fine earlier. Suddenly the error has start coming. The error is coming in a pop up window. I am attaching the error details from event log.

How to change the link in the attachment of a notification

Hi All,
We have a requirement in the workflow. The notifications from workflow are sent as email with attachments in it to the performers which contains the login links to Instance. We have two Middle tiers in our architecture(Public and Private MTs). The requirement is to change the link in the notification attachments from private Middle Tier to Public MiddleTier.
Please help on how to change.

So you want to redesign the contact card in Outlook? Are you using SharePoint? If signed into sharepoint via the social connect, there is a link to the mysharepoint page under View source. I don't think you can change the link or customize the card,
beyond what is listed here:

Sales Order (Returns) for Approval / Reject

Hi,
I have a Sales Order of Credit Only Order type.
Existing Custom Workflow
When the Customer Service creates Sales Order of Order Type Credit Only, it will got to AR dept for Approval/Reject.
If the AR dept rejects, then a Notification will flow to Customer Service with Rejection comments.
Required Logic
Once Customer Updates and saves Sales Order, Customer Service should have an option to send SO back to Approval to AR dept.
Could any one give me the logic.
