Remove background in JTree's node

How to remove colored background in JTree's node?
http://www.builder.cz/images/client-tree.gif - here is example how it looks like...

from reading understand white would be best...
You may have misunderstood.
In the image you posted there seems to be a problem with a part that strongly reflects the background for example.
The »ideal« color for efficient clipping depends on the object being photographed, even a green screen would be problematic with an object of a similar green.
What is the file format you need anyway? psd with transparency or eps with Clipping Path or …?
Like Silkrooster pointed out Actions and Image Processor, but also Scripts, can help with automising the task with Photoshop – but quite frankly I expect results so bad that each image would likely have to be checked and improved manually.

  • Newbie question: Why is "learn sound model" greyed out when trying to remove background sounds in a file using the Spectral Frequency display?

I am trying to remove background sounds in a file using the Spectral Frequency display. The first edit on a new file, this process works fine:
    1. use brush to cover sound
    2. right click, learn sound model
    3. effects/noise-reduction-restoration/Sound Remover
The next time I try to remove another sound in the file, "learn sound model" is greyed out. I have to close the file and reopen to be able to make another edit. What on earth is going on? Can it only learn one sound model or something?
I'm a newbie, so thanks in advance for your advice!

My daughter has had her Razr for about 9 months now.  About two weeks ago she picked up her phone in the morning on her way to school when she noticed two cracks, both starting at the camera lens. One goes completely to the bottom and the other goes sharply to the side. She has never dropped it and me and my husband went over it with a fine tooth comb. We looked under a magnifying glass and could no find any reason for the glass to crack. Not one ding, scratch or bang. Our daughter really takes good care of her stuff, but we still wanted to make sure before we sent it in for repairs. Well we did and we got a reply from Motorola with a picture of the cracks saying this was customer abuse and that it is not covered under warranty. Even though they did not find any physical damage to back it up. Well I e-mailed them back and told them I did a little research and found pages of people having the same problems. Well I did not hear from them until I received a notice from Fed Ex that they were sending the phone back. NOT FIXED!!! I went to look up why and guess what there is no case open any more for the phone. It has been wiped clean. I put in the RMA # it comes back not found, I put in the ID #, the SN# and all comes back not found. Yet a day earlier all the info was there. I know there is a lot more people like me and all of you, but they just don't want to be bothered so they pay to have it fix, just to have it do it again. Unless they have found the problem and only fixing it on a customer pay only set up. I am furious and will not be recommending this phone to anyone. And to think I was considering this phone for my next up grade! NOT!!!!

Select all the clips with a key, right click, and select remove effects. This will remove all the effects for those clips so you will loose any colour correcting or other changes you might have done.

  • How to remove background hiss?

What options do I have for removing background noise/hiss in iMovie '09? I used the standard microphone of an HD camcorder and as you might guess there is a lot of ambient noise that I would like to try to remove.

Well, I answered my own question.
You cannot do this within iMovie. Instead you have to export the audio and then run it through another application which is what I did using Audacity. I exported the audio to a .wav file and imported into Audacity. With Audacity, you can sample a bit of audio where no one is speaking using the "Remove Noise..." filter and then apply that filter to a selected section of audio. There's lots of other things you can do with Audacity but all I needed was removing background his and amplifying a few other sections of audio where kids were speaking to softly. It worked great! Once finished with Audacity, I exported from Audacity back to a .wav file format. Then I imported that hiss-free audio track into iTunes which then made it available in iMovie. Before dragging the full hiss-free audio clip into my movie project I first muted the existing full-of-hiss audio track. Because the audio tracks were the same length, it all lined up perfectly.

  • HOWTO remove an entry from the node list...

    Hi all,
does anybody know, howto remove an entry from the node list TAB ?
I recentyl updated my system to 11.5.10.2 including enabling autoconfig.
Now, concurrent processes won't start, because of two entries in the node list tab (yes, it's a single node installation!). There are two entries, one with the IP-address and one with the hostname.
Can somebody tell me howto remove this obsolete entry?
    Thanks.

    1) Login as APPS user to SQL*Plus
    2) Issue the following:
    SQL> EXEC FND_CONC_CLONE.SETUP_CLEAN;
    SQL> COMMIT;3) Run AutoConfig

  • Instant alpha feature not available with Photos (want to remove background)

    Hello,
I have to make some pictures better and for that remove background that is roughly uniform. For that i'm used to use "instant alpha" feature, but it appears to be no more available neither in Photos and Preview. Funny thing is instant alpha remains available with Pages.
Do i miss something with Photos, or is it a better way to remove background with OS X Yosemite?
    Thank's for your help,
    Marc

Still is. Enable the toolbar and be sure you're using a formal that supports transparency - i.e. Not Jpeg
TD - btw, you can use the markup tools in Preview, if you open a JPEG: See for  example the marching ants outline in this screenshot:
Preview will now prompt to convert the document to png - we don't have to do it, before opening in Preview.

  • Remove background from Smart Build images

    Hi,
I've just started creating my first project with Keynote, and so far it's terrific. The question I have is, is it possible to use the alpha tool, or something similar to remove backgrounds from images that I'm using for a smart builds effect.
    Thanks,
    Dave

    Welcome to the discussions, Decaffeinated1.
The problem you're seeing is specifically with how Keynote copies images. Neither Pages nor Numbers has this problem. The problem and the solution is described here.
    http://www.keynoteuser.com/news/?p=256
Basically, your choice is to copy through Pages or Numbers (or iWeb) OR to copy another object which will force Keynote to adhere to the transparency set with Instant Alpha.

  • Having difficulty using quick selection tools to remove background form images. Any help appreciated

    Hello All,
I am trying to remove background from images using the 3 different selection tools.  I start off fine, but ultimately the entire images keeps getting grabbed which ever tool I am using.  It is easier if you are using a pro version of photoshop and not any of the elements versions?  I have elements 11.
    Thanks

Whenever I have watched a video of this process, it seems so easy!
So much depends on the image itself to determine which tool is most appropriate. Another tool to try is the selection brush, where you literally paint in what you want to select.

  • Problems removing background with Magic wand and then brush tool

I use Paint Shop Elements (version 13) to remove background from images to then use in PowerPoint. So I ensure the image is on a proper layer (say Layer 0).  I then create a mask.  If there are large areas of unwanted background I use the Magic Wand to highlight them.  I then use the Fill Tool with the 'black'/remove pixels leave transparent on these areas.  HOWEVER if I then try to use the Brush Tool with the remove/transparent 'black' setting to say tidy up the image, the brush tool will not respond!  I then find I have to save the Photoshop file and re-open it before I can use the brush tool.  I suspect I am missing a step, but I am fairly new to Photoshop Elements.

I don't know where this "tutorial" came from, but obviously it does not work for you. Try the following in PSE Expert tab:
    Have the Layers palette open
    Open the picture file
Double click the background layer in order to convert it from a locked layer to a regular layer. It is now Layer 0.
Use one of the selection tools, e.g. selection brush, lasso tool, to select the foreground
    Go to Select>Inverse
    Hit delete on the keyboard
Press CTRL+D to get rid of the marching ants
Use the eraser tool to tidy up
Go to File>save as, and save in a file format which supports transparency - PNG is ok
Import the processed file in to PowerPoint.

  • Remove Background

I would like to remove a background from a PDF document in Adobe acrobat professional 7.0.9.
The help file states choose Edit > Undue Add Background. There is no such menu item under edit.
A search of the Adobe knowledgebase states choose Document > Background > Remove. There is no such menu item under document.
I have searched to this forum for "Remove Background" and found no topic on point.
    Please advise.

Yes, I renamed the file, save it, closed it, and sent it to my client for review. Now that my client has approved it I would like to remove the background "DRAFT". Please share with me the reference in the Adobe help file which describes the recommended method of removing this background. Thank you.

  • Can Logic plug ins remove background noise from interview?

Can Logic plug ins remove background noise from interview?
A friend with an important interview recorded in noisy conditions has asked me to help remove background noise - never done this technically.
Is there a Logic or third party plug in that would could remove background noise from a spoken word interview? Have tried EQ which improves the sound slightly but not a solution.
Anyone with specialised knowledge of this sound editing operation?
    cheers
    MS

There are several 3rd party denoisers, they mostly work by first 'learning' the noise footprint of the audio, for which it is best to record a few seconds of silence (with an open mic).
These will all do a decent to excellent (it all depends on the source material) job:
    http://www.kvraudio.com/get/3199.html
    http://www.kvraudio.com/get/2104.html
    http://www.kvraudio.com/get/2791.html
    http://www.kvraudio.com/get/1182.html
    http://www.kvraudio.com/get/1029.html
    Addit:
Is it that background noise (traffic, talking etc) drowns out the words? Then you'd probably have more luck with (radical) eq-ing and/or notch filtering to find the most dominant frequency range of the speaker in relation to the background noise.
As an interviewer myself I will point out that even with a small disctaphone you need to have some awareness of how the microphone picks up things. As soon as you nead to lean towards whoever you're talking to, just to make sure you're audible, the dictaphone on the table is probably recording mainly ambient noise, the interview being part of that. This is especially a problem when interviewing in a busy public space.

  • Remove background sound

I have a clip and the audio is very hard to hear, the camera man did not use a mic. How do I make the sound better?

    hi
your thread is called 'remove background sound' but the description you give only mentions that the audio is recorded at a very low level?!? so, I hope my advice helps ...
firstly, you don't need to use Logic, everything you need is within STP. you should probably normailize the audio to get it at a decent level then follow this advice from a previous post of mine ...
I recently worked on a commercial where the camera wasn't sealed correctly and you could hear the rolling sound of the 35mm film throughout a very quiet piece with dialogue.
I opened the aif in the STP audio editor and selected a section where there was just the unwanted sound and from the Process menu choose 'select noise print' and then choose 'reduce noise' - there are some paramaters here that you can tweak and preview before you commit the action to your file.
    anywhoo, it worked a treat!
here are before and after clips ...
