Remove Calendar display from N80???

Is there any way to remove the upcoming appointments from the home screen on the N80, i have a great picture on there that is blocked out by some upcoming calendar entries. I cannot see how to remove these in the manual.
Any help is greatly received.
Regards
Craig

Hi Craig,
You can do that by turning Active standby to off via Menu > Tools > Settings > Phone > Standby mode > Active standby > Off.
Unfortunately, this also take out the Active standby applications, a.k.a the row above the upcoming appointments.
Cheers. ^_^

The display on my 15" Titanium Powerbook no longer works. The laptop works fine if I connect it to an external monitor. Does anyone if you can remove the display from the unit totally and still use the powerbook like a desktop computer connected to a monitor?

I have a friend who did the same with an iBook, and managed to get it to work. Given the trickery of how the cables are hooked up, if you are at all queezy, have an authorized service technician help you out. You wouldn't want to expose the wires to moisture and dust that normally don't get exposed.

  • How can I remove calendar alerts from my iPhone?

My iPhone 4 (iOS 6) seems to be adding calendar alerts on its own and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to remove them. I use iCal on my Macbook Pro (running Mountain Lion 10.8.2) to sync my calendar events. None of my events on iCal have alerts set to them and I have disabled all alerts in my iCal preferences. Yet, for some reason, when I look at a calendar event on my iPhone, an alert is set for it.
How do I remove these properly? I do not simply want to silence these alerts, but figure out how they got there in the first place and remove them completely. For comparison's sake, I've included an image of the event from iCal and the event from my iPhone.

    Hi pjdemeo,
I understand you want to delete all of the photos from your iPhone.  As a precaution, I would suggest importing the photos and videos from your iPhone into your computer.  This will give you a backup for the images, and after import you will be asked if you want to delete the photos.
Import photos and videos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your Mac or Windows PC - Apple Support
    https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201302
The iPhone User Guide has instructions for deleting photos directly from the device:
Organize photos and videos - iPhone
    http://help.apple.com/iphone/8/#/iphf14943e
Delete a photo or video from Photos. Tap the Photos tab, tap the photo or video, tap , then tap Delete Photo or Delete Video. Deleted photos and videos are kept in the Recently Deleted album on iPhone, with a badge showing the remaining days until the item is permanently removed from iPhone. To delete the photo or video permanently before the days expire, tap the item, tap Delete, then tap Delete Photo or Delete Video. If you use iCloud Photo Library beta, deleted photos and videos are permanently removed from all iOS 8.1 devices that use iCloud Photo Library beta with the same Apple ID.

  • Remove Calendar Entries from iPod

I've unchecked the Syncronize with Microsoft Outlook option within iTunes, but the calendar entries are still on my iPod. How do I get rid of them?

    Welcome to Apple Discussions!
With your iPod connected to your computer and updating with iTunes open My Computer, open the drive representing the iPod and delete the entries from the Calendar folder.

  • User cannot remove calendar appointments from other accounts

A user running 12.0.2 Build 108211 cannot delete appointments set on other user account calendars. For example, user sets appoint that is accepted by second user, but needs to later delete appointment and set new appointment for different time and date. User's setting will not delete from second user's calendar. What is causing this?

Is this just one particular user that has this problem but not others?
If so please conduct the following standard GW test.
    1) try another user on this system to see if they experience the same
    problem
    2) have the person experiencing the problem log onto another system and
see if they can reproduce the problem.
If the problem follows the user, check your GWCheck Contents Analyse/Fix
logs for any errors on this user that likely need some manual
intervention. If you don't have GWChecks scheduled, run one manually for
the user twice, and check the resulting log.
If the problem happens to any user on that one system, uninstall the GW
client, purge temp files(CCleaner is good for this) and run a disk
defragmentation, reboot and reinstall the GW client.
Let us know how this goes for you.
Also, what is the back end server version? Same as user client?

    Hey,
    - Edit the date picker page item
    - Locate the 'Settings' section
    - Select 'on focus' for the 'Show' select list
That will hide the date picker calendar icon.

  • Remove time tooltip from calendar view

    Hi,
I removed the default time from calendar view using some css code, but time tool tip is still showing when i hover it. How can i remove default time from calendar tooltip.

For hiding times in Calendar View:
Just add CSS to the page:
    .ms-acal-time{display:none;}
and for ToolTip; refer this also:

  • How do I remove an old calendar group from my iphone.

This old group seems to be the default for entering events on the iphone. I have a .me account and an old .mac account. My mobile me (.me) is the calendar I use on my computer. I can see that on my iphone, but for some reason, when I create new events on my iphone, it wants to use the .mac account. How do I remove it from my iphone so this won't happen.
Also, the .mac events don't synch with my computer because I only have .me on there. I removed the .mac from the computer a while back. I'm wondering if that was a mistake.

    Tracy,
Try MobileMe: Troubleshooting MobileMe Calendar issues. Use the Troubleshooting iOS devices link.
Also make sure that you have installed the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1.

  • How can I remove dropdown calendar menu from date/time field.

I set up a javascript calculation based on the input of a date field. As long as the user enters the date manually the script works fine. If user attempts to select date by drop down menu then script will not work. How can I remove the calendar feature from the Date field?

You may have to wire custom script to get you what you need. That would probably work on 'exit' event.
Just you give you better Idea here is some thing I have on a date field. If user types his own date instead of picking from calendar this code checks whether it is valid date or not and returns to the same field either they enter valid date or clear the field.
This is FormCalc script. You may get the idea how this works and make it work for you using the same logic either in FormCalc or JavaScript.

UPDATE: I had 36 Safari windows open and minimized on the dock from my last session; 20 of those windows failed to open b/c Safari "couldn't find the server"; I just went to the URL bar of all 20 pages and clicked return, and all 20 pages loaded perfectly, without dropping any images or losing formatting. • Calendar display issues for "All Day Events" coming from Exchange Server

My problem is with the display of All Day events. I'm running a 3gs, Outlook 2007 on winxp, connected to a Exchange 2007 server. When an all day event is put in for multiple days the phone calendar displays it as starting at midnight going to midnight, and sometimes wont display the event on the list view on the phone. I can correct the display by editing it on the phone and making it all day there, but then the category I assigned the event in outlook goes away in outlook. All day single day events work just fine. Any suggestions?

    Sort of same issue:
All day events scheduled from Entourage display incorrectly on iPhone/iPad as non-all-day events (which block out entire day/multiple days)
All day events scheduled from iPhone/iPad show up correctly in Entourage as all-day events, but incorrectly with an *extra day* added.
