Remove control bar from MOV clip

I dropped a MOV file into the web page and it created a
control bar at the bottom. This is nice for most uses, but I don't
want it. Any idea how to remove the bar? I tried re-sizing the
graphic, but that just resizes it from the middle, so the result is
that I would have to cut off a portion from the top equal to the
size of the control bar at the bottom :-(

Apple has sort of screwed up the whole full-screen / multi-screen features of OSX. I get it's hard to achive it all in a "perfect way" for everyone but the so called "improved" multi-screen features of 10.9 add a number of issue on top of the "fixes".
1. Switching between apps with CMD + TAB is bugged with using 10.9 screen-setup. The OS doesn't understand what screen I'm using and the CMD + TAB feature shows up on screen 1 or screen 2. The only way I've found to controll this is by activating the DOCK on either screen which is a very bad solution.
2. Spotlight searching always follows the "active" screen. At least 10.9 understands what screen is my active one but in this case I never ever want screen 2 to have Spotlight on it. Very irriting.
3. Remembering application positions. If I open an app from the dock on screen 1, place it on screen 2 close it and again open it from the dock on screen 1 the app will open on screen 1 and not screen 2. Some apps will remember certain windows on the correct display. A solution is to open the app from the dock on the display you want it on. Very irritiating.
4. Swiching between apps is also bugged. Concider I have mail on screen 2 and a new mail window on screen 1. I CMD + TAB to Safari on screen 2 after starting to write the new mail on screen 1. No problems here. If I now howvever CMD + TAB back to mail, the last active window (new mail window on screen 1) won't be active. Very irritating.
As noted above, going back to what we had in 10.7 and 10.8 solves these issues but doesn't solve Apples horrible fullscreen app issues. I'd go as far as saying Apple hasn't really fixed anything in 10.9 - only cause more issues and confusing behavoir. Fullscreen apps are often very lacking in funktion, having safari or mail fullscreen renders them on a large screen very very limited compared to "maximized". It's also very confusion that you are required to travel between virtual desktops to use full-screen apps. I personally would prefer the option of "layered fullscreen apps". For example VLC allows me to work this way.

Batch remove an effect from all clips in a timeline

This has probably been asked a hundred zillion times, but is there a way to batch remove an effect from all clips in a timeline?

I saw that there, but was hoping to remove just unsharp mask from all the clips but keep colour correction effects.

How to remove effect presets from a clip?

I'm learning how to use Premiere Elements 8 from Adobe's official Help document.
I'm currently working through Chapter 10, "Applying effects", section "Working with effect presets" -> "Apply an effect preset".
The Help document doesn't tell how to remove an effect preset you had applied.
I've tried to follow the instructions for removing regular effects, but they don't seem to work in the case of presets.
How can i remove effect presets from a clip?

I suspect it's actually a standard PE terminology that i'd better get acquainted with.
I wanted to address this part separately. Actually, "workflow" is more of a video, or at least NLE term, and is not specific to PrE.
As for terminology, this ARTICLE might prove useful.
As I attempt to point out, some of these terms might be applied slightly differently, depending on the exact program used. As a for instance, PrE 8 has moved all of the Export options to Share. I still write "Export/Share" in case a PrE 2 through 7 user reads it. Terms can change. Also, Avid might call one common operation by one name, and Final Cut Pro use a different one.
For me, I had to learn some new terms. I can from a film background. Terms were changed with video. For instance, my old Fade-to-Black is now Dip-to-Black in most NLE's. First time that I typed Fade-to-Black, everyone came back with "huh???"
I read a lot of books on general editing of both video and audio. Some authors use different programs, and though the core theories are the same, their terminology can be rooted in their program of choice.
Also, with regards to audio, many still use a lot of the terminology from the analog days, and keep them, because analog is still part of the workflow in most productions - think of the mics, for instance. There is generally less analog left in video, unless someone needs to telecine film to digital, or transfer VHS tapes to digital. More of the total workflow is all in digital, so my old film school terms have faded.
One of the things that I attempt to do is differentiate exaclty what I am talking about. If I type video, I mean video in general. If I type Video, I am talking about the video Assets in a Project. Notice that Assets is also capatilized, as that is a term from the NLE and is specific to all things, SFX, Video, Audio, etc. used. Sometimes I slip up. I use project to mean the whole thing, and Project to mean the setup in the NLE, that will result in either a .PREL, or .PRPROJ file from my Adobe editors. Does this make sense?

How to lock bottom control bar from auto-hiding in full screen mode

I am using Flash Player with ie in Win7. It is very irritating while watching YouTube videos for the status/control lbar to keep auto-hiding. When the bar auto-hides, the pause/play position becomes the progress bar position - and a click where Pause used to be resets the video to start. How can I keep the bottom control bar from auto-hiding in full screen mode?

There's nothing you can do to Flash Player, itself, to prevent this from happening. Apparently, there's no way to disable via youtube, or google, either -- http://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/youtube/_E5yFvNJCPk
You SHOULD be able to call up the bar by hovering the cursor at the bottom of the screen and then, after a a second or two, click on the pause button. (It shouldn't restart the video in other words.) But, if for whatever reason, this doesn't work, just click once in the center of the screen to pause the video. To restart, click the center of the screen again.

Removing control bar and windows bar

Is it possible to somehow remove flash control bar (bar with
buttons File, View, Control and Help) and windows bar with
minimalization, maximalization and termination buttons from flash
movie?

you only see that when you play the swf with the stand alone
flash viewer. No one will see that if they open it using a web
browser. Right-click the swf and choose open with IE (or whatever
browser you use) and you will see what they will see. BTW, a web
browser uses the flash plugin. The only people that have the stand
alone player (usually) are people that have Flash installed on
their computer

Removing Shades' Bar from Desktop

I have downloaded and am using the Shades software to reduce the brightness on my iMac screen. (Btw, it works great and I strongly recommend it if your screen is still too bright at the lowest system setting.)
The problem: Shades' small horizontal brightness adjustment bar is still on my desktop. I can move it anywhere, but I don't seem to be able to remove it altogether. And it's really unnecessary, since Shades already has an icon in the Menulet area (upper right).
So: How do I remove the Shades' bar from my desktop?

Linking back from movie clips

I want my menu bar to be in a movie clip. How do I link back
to a frame in the main timeline from a movie clip?

This solution concerns actionscript 3.
I put an object on frame 10 of the main timeline, and on
frame 1 put this actionscript:
stop();
then I created a symbol with class name, MyMC and on it's
first frame added the following code:

var mt:MovieClip = this.parent as MovieClip; // [object
MainTimeline]
t.addEventListener( TimerEvent.TIMER, tFunc =
function(e:TimerEvent):void

I then added an instance of MyMC to frame 1 of the main
timeline after stop();
stop();
addChild(new MyMC());
When I run the movie, after 1 second, the playhead jumps to
frame 10.

How to hide or remove several areas from a clip and create a generator

Hello dear comnunity,
I'm in an urgent need an assistance:
I need to proeuce a video of a screen recoding.
I'm using Camtasia in order to record. The meterial is pretty static.
The problem:
I have a lot of information on the screen while I'm recoding which I'd like to remove in post.
Basically what you see is a poker table. Each circle represents a player.
What I need is to be able to "remove" all these colorful numbers in order to provide with a "cleaner" look.
I understand that this can be accomplished by "layers" i.e.
Use this as a "background":
and then remove all of the areas with the colorful numbers.
In short:
I'd like to remove multiple areas from a single clip without having "holes".
Note:
Since I producing multiple vidoes I would like to be able to have some sort of effect\preset\generator etc in order to automate the process every time.
I have FCP X as well as Motion 5.
I saw some split screen generators with multiple areas. It looks like what I need but I do need to make my own custom splits.
PLEASE try to provide with detailed information as much as possible. I'm not a noobie but not an expect as well.

By default, the toolbar cannot be hidden.
However, you can add button items to the toolbar, hook up to the event handlers, and create new menus and menu-items in your gadgets.
What version of Smart Space are you using? The SDK is slightly different between 9.3.1 and 11.1.x
There are ways to work around the toolbar and do some other slick UI renderings in regards to these topics.

Want to remove scroll bar from navigation pane in Web Template

HI All,
I have a report created in WAD.When I am using navigation pane, I get a scroll bar there.
I want to remove that scroll bar from navigation pane.Tried increasing the height in the property of same but nothing is helping.
The expanded option should be ON and do not want to group characteristics shown in nav. pane.
Please suggest, if there is any other way to do that.

Why do you want to expand it? Generally when you click on Nav pane, it should show the assigned chars under it. No scroll bar comes up with below settings:-

I have a requirement to remove the scroll bar which appears between nav panel and Work Area in 'Nav Panel and work area layout'.
I would like it to be as a single page as we get in narrow: wide layout.
Well I could just do it by using a narrow:wide layout, but the challenge is I also need the collapse/expand Icon which we get in Nav Panel/WA layout.

If you want to enable the expand/collapse icon , then you can set the property named Show Tray of the page to yes and then test . By default the property meant for showing the expand/collapse icon is set to yes . You only need to enable the tray and check .
I did not get the requirement that you have with respect to scrollbar . Where is that scrollbar appearing that you want to remove?

Is there a way to remove extensive echo from auido clip?

This clip was recorded in an open hall in a veteran's memorial museum. As you can hear the echo is extensive. Is there a way to effectively remove the echo from the meeting hall echo?

I know if a frame is not in a Displayable mode, ie not visible you can remove the title bar from the frame with myFrame.setUndecorate(true) in JDK 1.4.0, but I was wondering if you can remove the title bar from the jframe once it is displayed, and conversly if already removed, can you add the title bar back to the jframe. If there is no java solution, is there a jni solution.
